Jun 23, 2012I'm trying to figure how-to configure and use e-mail without using BES.I checked with the local telco. And the number is not ascociated with any BES service.The services entry show no indication in that direction.Moreover, the SIM card config show that everything is disabled. Meaning that the phone is unlocked. At least that is my understanding.However, even after a wipe, the BB device does not allow me to configure an e-mail account as described in the manual. It keeps on asking for a BES activation first

I mean when I am using wizard and enter my user and pss, in next step, it ask me about incoming and outgoing server. as far as I know E72 should it elf find it, but I myself have to search the internet to find incom and outgoing mail server and put it manually...What as I supposed to do to E72 do it automatically.

Jan 5, 2012I cannot see these settings anywhere. For any mobile device, it is logical to BCC every sent email to one's address. Also, a provision to delete an incoming email from the POP server would be very handy. The older phones all had these features. Maybe I will need to install a headers-only email app to get the server deletion.

Oct 12, 2015I am new to my Samsung S6, and was feeling good that I was able to create a Gmail IMAP account in the "Google" app, 2 accounts in the "Personal (POP3)" app, and one account in the "Email" app. Then I discovered that only the "Email" app shows up on my desktop and I have to open 3 different apps to look for email. Is there a way for me to "import" those other accounts into "Email" app? It looks like I might be able to start from scratch and enter all of the settings (which wasn't a short procedure), but I've read of problems encountered (e.g. disappearing emails from server, etc.)

Aug 24, 2010For some reason I am unable to reply to emails with one my email accounts. To be more specific I can type in my response but when I hit the menu the send option is gone. The only choices I get are "save as draft" and "full menu".
I used the search but was not able to find a solution.
I am thinking this started to happen when I DL'ed v5.0.0.602. I tried practically everyone option available. I did the following in hopes for a fix:
- battery pull
- service books
- deleted the email account & re-added
I even did this combo: service books, deleted account, service books, added account & pulled battery.

May 29, 2010Thursday I didn't get any emails from my external email accounts (Yahoo, Hotmail, Work) until 11:40PM Pacific then I got a whole days worth. Since then I haven't received anything.My phone works, text messaging works, the brower works, I can see the emails when I go to the websites on the PC or BB Browser. Facebook (no notifications though because they come through email) and Twitter apps work.I sent a test email from my BB from my yahoo account to my hotmail account and it did send.I have taken the battery out and restarted it. There arent any errors or anything I'm just not receiving the emails.

Mar 27, 2012We're trying to send some tabular data from our internal email (Exchange Server with Outlook 2003 clients) by copying from Excel 2003 and pasting into Outlook. When the message is viewed on the Blackberry (Bold 9600) the layout is all screwed up. Column widths change and it seems to randomly wrap onto a new line, sometimes with what appears to be multiple lines in between. We've tried various options (HTML mail, pictures (bitmap and metafile, the latter appearing as .gif files) and whilst the picture option seems the best so far, it still gets distorted, presumably by re-sizing.
