I have strange problem with nokia E72. It soes not automatically configure my gmail and hotmail. I mean when I am using wizard and enter my user and pss, in next step, it ask me about incoming and outgoing server. as far as I know E72 should it elf find it, but I myself have to search the internet to find incom and outgoing mail server and put it manually...What as I supposed to do to E72 do it automatically.
View 9 RepliesI cannot see these settings anywhere. For any mobile device, it is logical to BCC every sent email to one's address. Also, a provision to delete an incoming email from the POP server would be very handy. The older phones all had these features. Maybe I will need to install a headers-only email app to get the server deletion.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am having problems with my email in my 5800 can anyone help?it has worked perfectly since I had it until January when it suddenly decided to download every email I have ever kept on my server (several hundred) I then had a fiddle with the settings and now once it picks up my emails and I've looked at them it automatically deletes them from the phone and the server without asking even though I've checked the 'always ask button' I have lost several very important documents this way. I have previously not had this problem in fact when I deleted e-mails before this problem and hit the 'delete from phone and server' the e-mail still remained in my home computer. I have gone through all the settings on the phone many times and cannot see why this should be happening.

My emails over 30 days are being deleted automaticallyFor my personal Gmail account on my BB, under Options, Message display and Actions, Days to Keep Messages, it's set to "forever".However my emails are only kept for 30 days, anything older would get deleted. I've tried changing the "forever" option down to 180, and 90 days, restart the phone, and change it back to "forever", however emails over 30 days are still being deleted.Does anyone else have this problem?I have 2 email accounts synced, the gmail one, and another university email (which oddly enough, does not have this issue)Btw I'm on a 9900 in Vodafone UKII was on 7.1.342 and eventually updated to .391 and the issue is still here

My emails are now being deleted from my Torch, although sent ones are still there. I have changed settings so email is deleted after 60 days. I read somewhere that I should turn off wireless reconcile, but that hasn't helped either. Everytime I get an email, it never downloads emails automatically. I've got my settings so that it is supposed to, but when I open one up, I just have image boxes with no images. I have a BB Storm 9530 and whenever I open an email message, I have to select "view images" from the menu. Is there a way for all of my email messages to automatically open and show all images like its HTML? Even when I set the email setting to automatically show images, I still get those little squares that have mini blackberrys in them.

I have configured the default E-mail client with POP3 configuration. Everyday older mails are getting deleted from INBOX automatically. Strange thing is that older mails are getting deleted from INBOX only (not from TRASH or SEND box). With 2.3.3 I was not getting this issue. I was able to view 2-3 days older mails also in 2.3.3. But after installing 2.3.4, whenever I'm opening INBOX, Older mails are getting replaced with new mails automatically. I want my older emails to be in INBOX also.

But I amd not able to configure my phone with OVI suite.After connecting my cell with my laptop I select PC Suit USB Mode from my cell phone. On the second step (Connect Device) of OVI Suite configuration the name of my phone is visible but when I select, A popup message is displayed that This device is not in PC Suite USB mode. And the 'Next' button is greyed out.
