Bold :: Blackberry ID Does Not Recognize My Email / Password
Jan 9, 2012I recently had water damage to my BB Curve 9300 phone, stupidly I had not relaised but transfered all my contacts from SIM to phone Of course all this info got wiped when the phone was repaired. But i had registred with Blackberry ID and got a few apps one of which was BB Protect, backing up all my contacts etc. However now when I go to enter my email and password for BB ID it does not recognise me, I have tried 'forgot password' and the same happens, it does not recognise my email or any other emails I use. I have spoken to O2 and they say they can see I registered with BB and state if I had apps must have registered an email address. I am going mad because they must have an address and password for me as they allowed me to get other free apps, therefore my info must be on their system. I don't want to re-register as BB Protect will not recognise the new name or will it? Does it take other info when you register, like the PIN or IMEI?

Nov 1, 2012I noticed my trackball was delaying by a couple seconds early this week. 4 days later the trackball does not work AT ALL. Is there any way of navigating the blackberry device without using the trackball. If not, what would you recommend me doing. I have backed up everything except my password keeper (which I don't think can be backed up).

For a short while, I could pair it with the Bluetooth kit in my car and I was able to receive call.However, the blue light on the top right corner of the phone just kept flashing and when I try to turn it off, it actually indicated the Bluetooth is off. Apr 10, 2012Had to replace the SIM card on my Curve 9360 today and now it won't recognize my BlackBerry ID or password. It just says "please wait" and then does nothing for literally hours. I can log in to the BlackBerry website fine so I know my login and password are correct. My cell phone provider says it is a BlackBerry issue. The log in screen gives you 10 tries to log in before it wipes your phone and I'm on try #8.

After i tried to unlock the device inserting the right password but it dosen't recognize it. Now i'm so worried about lost all my data, casue i haven't done recently a backup. May 30, 2012I was at a Genius Bar earlier today and they gave me a replacement iPhone 4. I had my laptop with me to transfer everything over and the guy working commented that I shouldn't use data encryption on the backup, so I said fine and he deactivated the option. I believe it was at this point that I was asked to enter the password, which I did. After a long time processing, there was an error message at the end. I wish I could remember what it said, but the guy said it should be fine. He wiped my phone I was returning, and then we set about to restore my new phone from the backup. Only problem is now iTunes doesn't recognize the password from my encrypted backup (this is the only one available). I don't know if something was corrupted during the attempt to deactivate encryption, or if this could be something else? I am positive I know the password—I entered it earlier in the process, and besides, it's the same as my passcode.
I was basically ushered out of the store because the guy said he didn't know what else to do. He just muttered some stuff about third party programs which Apple doesn't support which could retrieve data from a backup. I asked how those could possibly work on an encrypted backup and he didn't seem to have an answer.
