Can anyone help me with facebook? I downloaded facebook version 1.7 for my BB Bold. couldn't get it to work.. it won't recognize my email and password... it keeps on saying " connection error, service data missing unavailable" can someone enlighten me on this matter? what am i missing? i'm using wifi connection to access facebook.
View 5 RepliesI recently had water damage to my BB Curve 9300 phone, stupidly I had not relaised but transfered all my contacts from SIM to phone Of course all this info got wiped when the phone was repaired. But i had registred with Blackberry ID and got a few apps one of which was BB Protect, backing up all my contacts etc. However now when I go to enter my email and password for BB ID it does not recognise me, I have tried 'forgot password' and the same happens, it does not recognise my email or any other emails I use. I have spoken to O2 and they say they can see I registered with BB and state if I had apps must have registered an email address. I am going mad because they must have an address and password for me as they allowed me to get other free apps, therefore my info must be on their system. I don't want to re-register as BB Protect will not recognise the new name or will it? Does it take other info when you register, like the PIN or IMEI?

View 1 Replies View RelatedNot sure why but I can login on my computer but when I try to get into facebook t is asking for me email and password. When I try it I get I get a message ( You have entered an incorrect Email/Password combination)
The email has been verified online and its the same password I have been using to login to the website with. Nothing has changed.
When I'm browsing on facebook mobile I quite often get the error "Error encountered during XML parse: An attribute value may not contain '<'.".. I know quite a few other people get this, is there a solution or someway to minimise when this happens? I am running 5.0.0.411

I've tried resending service book and removing battery - which did nothing. My Bold is v 4.6.303, platform 4.0.0.248, application memory 61.0MB, Device memory 859.2MB (free space 823.6MB).

my name is Lisa and I have a bold 9000 I was recently trying to sync my phone to my computer by using the desktop manager... It prompted me for the blackberry password on my computer. I entered my CORRECT!!! Password numerous times until it said one last attempt or all memory will be erase.. Being that the CORRECT password was not working I went to the password options on my bold and disabled the password.. As I attempted this a prompt showed up and said type in "blackberry" so I did then it said type in password, I typed in the correct password once again then it started wiping my phone.This is extremely frustrating I have... Well had =[... A lot of stuff on my phone and now it is all gone! And to top it all off it will not start up again, it says "reload software:513"I don't understand why this happened and I found several other people on online forums who have had the same problem with no solution.Please help! Is my phone completely wiped out for good?

View 5 Replies View RelatedThere was this pop-up thing happening and without knowing what it is and trying to get rid of it, I entered the password incorrectly 10 times and my phone got wiped. I did not back up any of the data in my phone. Now, every time I turn on my phone (bold 9000) the battery dies within 2-3 hours and when I switch the battery it erases all contacts and adjustments to the settings that I've made. In addition to this, the phone gets super hot, even though I turn the phone off.

Recently ported my number from AT&T to Sprint for Evo 4G. I never called AT&T ahead of time, or even told them I was canceling. Guy at Best Buy just took care of all of it when he ported number.I wanted to sell my Bold, but a day after I switched, I realized my gmail account is still on my BIS. So when I do a full reset to to sell the phone, my gmail account is still probably linked to it. I tried going into the email setup to remove it, but it says it needs a radio to do so, and I can't do that since my AT&T account is closed.Is my gmail still linked to my BIS even after my AT&T account is closed? Do I need to call them to remove it? I don't fully understand how BIS works so that is why I am asking here.
