When I'm browsing on facebook mobile I quite often get the error "Error encountered during XML parse: An attribute value may not contain '<'.".. I know quite a few other people get this, is there a solution or someway to minimise when this happens? I am running 5.0.0.411
View 4 RepliesThis time i wanted to get my mobile host network to work but i didint know how to activate it. i took the phone to them but sadly they dont sell BB's and they dont know how to input the network options. i have all the connetion info but i cant find were to input them. i tried though the desktop manager but i wont connect. now i use Wi-fi to go to the internet but i olny can use it in home.

I've tried resending service book and removing battery - which did nothing. My Bold is v 4.6.303, platform 4.0.0.248, application memory 61.0MB, Device memory 859.2MB (free space 823.6MB).

View 5 Replies View Relatedfor about 3 months my phone has been able to upload any picture on facebook and now whenever i try to upload a picture from my bb it'll allow me to pick it and it will upload but the whole bb freezes and the white screen comes on and says "app error: reset?" and i don't have an option but to click reset. i hate having to reset my blackberry over and over and i've even done a master reset where all my contacts pictures apps EVERYTHING got deleted in attempts to fix the problem but it won't work.

View 5 Replies View Relatedi have a black berry 9000 showing me App Error 523 on white screen. When ever I try to restart my phone it shows this error. And I cant even connect my phone to my computer. When ever I connect my phone to my computer it shows connecting and even if I check it up after 6 hours it shows connecting. So i am not even able to connect my phone to the computer so that i can install the new software. An its even showing reset below the error but when ever i press the phone gets re- started and it again shows the same error.

I am currently using the latest release of 5.0 and last night my phone was working fine. When I woke up this morning, my screen had the "App error 205" message on it. That is two failures in one month now and I have to go to work in a few minutes so I won't even have time to wipe my device to at least have a working phone for the day. Does anyone have an idea why this junk keeps happening?

I have to take the battery out at night to charge because the usb charging port is broken, and when I put it back in the following morning I get the following error message: "Supplementary Service Error: General Error. Along with getting the error, I'm being charged anywhere form $0.60 to $1.10 each morning. I've tried restoring the phone and deleting all the third party applications. I was hoping someone could solve this problem for me.And one other thing, it just started doing this. I've had the phone for about four months, and I just recently started getting the error.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded to the official RIM release of 7.1 from [URL] which means that I'm running 7.1 .0.205. With this I get the Mobile Hotspot functionality, finally! I've configured the APN username and password requested, and created a 16 charactor password for the hotspot itself. I've verified these are correct. Now, whenever I try to enable the Mobile Hotspot, I get a pop up error message that states:"The mobile data network that your device is connected to does not support this feature" with the title "Mobile HotSpot".To complicate matters, I am currently abroad, and hence roaming away from my home network. However, I can confirm that I am able to access the internet on the built in browser and can send and receive emails on the blackberry itself.
On another note, I thought that maybe the problem may be incorrect APN settings, so I tried to access the 'Mobile HotSpot' settings in order to update this, and I get a very unhelpful message that says:'Before Opening Mobile HotSpot Options, go to Manage Connections and turn on Mobile Hotspot'Clearly, I can't do that, so am pretty much stuck. I found that wiping the device allows me to re enter the credentials, and these still do not work. I even tried to add in the APN details of the network that I am roaming onto, and still no luck.

This has happened at least four times, when I listen to my music from the bold it says there is an error. This makes the bold freeze, and the only way it to turn off the bold, which takes forever. Has this happen to anyone else?

I've tried:
- reading every thread about it
- several 5 min+ battery pulls
- reinstalling the OS
- delete apps
and no solution so far. Is there any way to fix this without sending it back to warranty?? (I bought it online at a HK shop) I think I'm about to cry now
I am using Vista Ultimate and am trying to use the Media Manager section of the Desktop Manager.
But I am getting an error message as follows;

Which I did and got an automated email telling me basically they won't help unless I am a paying customer.
I removed my media card, transferred some pics to my computer, then re-inserted my media card. Have done this dozens of times, but this time when I re-inserted the media card I got a message saying "Media card inserted contains errors please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer." I have no idea what this means.

just got a 16gb micro sdhc for my 9000, transfered all my stuff from my 8gb perfectly and can play all file off computer. but once i plugged it into my berry it said "A Media Card has been inserted that contains errors, would you like to repair it?" I select yes and it gives me the message "Media Card Repair Failed"
