I turn my 'data access via mobile network' on, but nothing happens and I get NO internet connection. There is no problem with my provider, and my wifi at home still works. I 've had this problem yesterday and now after downloading the new version of android, the problem is still here.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI`m surprised that Gmail for Mobile app doesn`t work on my Nokia 6303, though it did work well with my old 6151 (and the operator is the same, nothing has changed except the phone model). It downloads properly, but when I try to open the Gmail, it keeps constantly asking for internet connection. But the connection is there! I press the "yes" but it keeps asking till finally tells to check the connectivity... And I have no problems with browsing the internet or opening and using my email accounts via web. I checked my settings but they seemed to be fine. But Gmail just doesn`t work, though I`ve tried several versions besides the newest one.

This happens whether connected through the T-Mobile network or Wi-fi.When I change the browser settings to the T-Mobile browser I am able to access web site just fine. However I would prefer to use the Blackberry browser because not all pages load correctly with the T-Mobile browser.
I have an active data plan and am connected to an enterprise server. My outlook and webmail e-mails work so I don't think it's a problem with my carrier. I've tried a battery pull, re-sending my service books, etc without luck.I think the problem may have started after connecting to my desktop for the first time in about a year, but I'm not completely certain. T-Mobile support and IT administrator have been no help.
The 3G Mobile Hotspot application doesn't work in Cyprus Cytavodafone network. The phone displays the msg "please contact with your provider".

I have restarted the phone, contacted my network provider for the information to set up a new connection, have updated the software, have done a reset but nothing is working. I also do not have the 3G symbol next to my network provider so something seems to be missing or not working correctly.
I have put the sim into my Iphone and I do not have any problems. It immediately connects to 3G and I have internet and do not have to change any setup info. Its pretty frustrating as I have only had it for less than a week but have spent most of the time searching for a solution and am wondering, if there are this many issues, whether not to just return the phone. I realised on my mobile that once i activate airplane mode with the mobile data on, it doesnt disable the mobile data. It is still on while the wifi turns off.

I tried to transfer few ringtones from my other handsets to it (Nokia 6300 and Sony P990i) bt it rejected from both of them. Bluetooth in all sets was on. X10 was set on discoverable mode. I paired it with both the sets and it got paired but mentioned that "Paired but not connected". What may be the reason?
