By a sudden, the mobile stopped browsing with my home WLAN. For 1 day back it was working perfectly. I could not get any support from nokia website, so can someone helps me to solve this issue.I'm effective browser with WLAN to save money from using telecom mobile.

I have got the latest software on the phone. Internet keeps freezing and I have to restart the phone at least once a day. I only browse a straight forward forum and facebook so it should be able to cope. I could never watch you tube or any web site with a lot of pictures. I have deleted cookies/history etc. Is it my internet connection that makes the phone freeze or is it the phone itself.

However mine doesn't, I tried looking for how to activate it in the setup but could find anything.

i get to the point where you have to select the email pproviders.i select gmail, enter my account name, then my password, press ok and it sends me back to the email provider selection list.
my only option there is press back or option.but back just takes me back to the begoning without any of the options being save.
I tried to update the firmware of my E6 from V21 to V22. But I get the error 12017. I reinstalled OVI suite, and restarted my phone but no luck.
View 6 Replies View RelatedJust bought the nokia E7. Well had little problems with it but have been solving them bit by bit.The problem that I haven't solved yet is that when locking the phone and creating the password to unlock it, it doesn't seem to work.
I touch the power button to lock and it locks. A screen with number appears so that I can put the password and selecting any number or even pressing cancel unlocks the phone.
Yea i was updating firmware and my phone restarted on the Ovi suit seed that it's normal but it didn't turn back on it just flashes the buttons and thats all few seconds later it turns of.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia E71 which as I write is not responding to any of the keys. When I turn it on it boots up and then gets to the 'Set date' window, which I can't get past because it does not register me pressing 'OK'.
I think reinstalling the firmware will fix this, because before it stopped working it went through a phase of not working, and then working again, and then not.
The problem I have is that I can't select the 'PC Suite' on my phone when I plug it in because it won't let me press any keys. how I can get my computer to recognise that I have the phone connected, without having to select PC Suite on my phone?
I have over 1,500 contacts in Outlook and has successfully synchronized them with Nokia E72 (last firmware). But quick search in Contacts application simply doesn't work - I can find only few contacts - others just dissapear when I start typing correct letters. I tried to kill the process of this app and restart Contacts. Voila, it works correctly! But then in 5 min. I tried again and got just the same problem. Desktop quick search doesn't work too.I've already tried to reload all the contacts in my phone - no results.

Today i updated to belle refersh, now my tocuh screen doesnt register my touch in certain areas, i cant pull down the notification bar, cant scroll vertially (horizontal scroll works with jerks), the icon i click on doesnt get selected, but one above or on the side of it gets selected...pretty strange and annoying...what i did....removed memory card, restarted, checked...same thing...clean formatted the phone (without memory card...still doesnt work).

View 2 Replies View Relatedi installed the latest update 071.004 on e72, now text message doesn't work properly. i have to switch off and on once to recieve the msgs. most of the msgs i send will go n sit in outbox. i have to manually select each one and select send option in outbox to send them. Also found problems with bluetooth. send via bluetooth option doesn't work. it doesn't even search for the the devices available.I am also getting 'memory full-close some applications' error in messaging and also in the browsers.my phone has about 191Mb of free space and mem card(8gb) 5.6gb free.

One second I could go to a webpage and then the next it would say WLAN not found. Keep in mind this was literally 10cm from the wireless router.Now at work I tried connecting to the WLAN after following a very comprehensive guide put together by our IT department with all the required details. I also downloaded the required certificate and opened it (selecting all 3 of the options that come up, whatever they were).Another person at work has the E65 and they connected fine. I have attached the settings I used in case you can spot something wrong.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got my E7 and every time I want to connect to a WIFI spot I need to enter the passkey. I upgraded from E72 and before that I had an E71, and on both phones I only needed to enter the passkey once and I only have to select the particular wlan connection after that, no need to enter the passkey.
By the nature of my work i always connect to different wifi spots of my clients, so you see this is really important for me
I have a strange problem. My E5 has the following setting for WLAN:
Ctr Panel>Settings>Connection>Wireless LAN>Show WLAN Availablity = Never
However, the entire time the background scanning is being done and "Select WLAN Network" popup comes with all the networks around me. I guess this is eating into the battery life and barely 10 hrs in the day, the battery dies out. I would like to add that I am a non phone person & hardly talk on the phone.
I am able to access the network service providers 3G network normally. I want to shut this background scanning for good and use only the network of my service provider.
I have a Nokia E63 mobile set. Recently, I updated its firmware with Nokia OVI Suite to 500.21.009. After update, it seems to work fine but when I tried to connect to my wireless router, it says "Connection Not Avaible" but the icon for wlan stays near the battery indicator icon. When I try to connect again, it says "Wlan connection already active, close it and try again". And when I try to disconnect with wlan, i cannot find disconnect option. Becoz of the problem, I tried googling, found that some problems were resolved by reinstalling the update. So, I tried the same without luck. I also tried Factory Reset which didnt worked. After that, I tried GPRS connection and found that I cannot connect with GPRS either.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently got a wireless Router and now have my own wireless network in my home. I searched for it on my N97, it found it, I added it to it's known access points and set it to connect automatically whenever needed. Here's the problem: it does connect automatically, but it only works for like 30 seconds. After that, it doesn't get disconnectted, but it doesn't work anymore either. It simply downloads no more data. The website doesn't finish loading, or if I try to acces another site, it doesn't load at all (Opera Mini gets stuck on connected). I tried to disconnect and reconnect to the network manually, and that works, but only for another 30 seconds, then the same thing happens. I tried this with the N97 integratet browser and Opera Mini, with the same results.
Mind you that I'm using the same wireless network on my laptop and it works with no problems. Also, note that I did use other WLAN networks with the N97 and they as well work with no problems. It's just my home metwork the phone seems to have issue with, and I'd like to know why, and how (if possible) i can fix this.
I tried to connect to a wlan network (Name) and entered a wrong wep key. After i found out how to change the wep key i realised that i had more networks (Name01, Name02). I still can`t connect to my initial network as the wep key is still incorrect but i can connect to 01 and 02. I would like to delete Name and Name01 networks from my list. I couldn`t delete them from Menu - Ctrl. panel - Connectivity - WLAN wiz. My phone is an E52

I have saved accesspoint with saved password.Password on this AP was changed and now when I'm trying to connect from my Nokia E6 I receive 'Check password'.But I didn't find any place where I could change password.In Settings-Connectivity-WLAN I see only information about APs. But I could not delete/chage saved password here.

But I haven't set up any access points yet and no other data connections are active. If I hold the end call key down the just beeps rather than ending any connections.I have reformatted the phone as per nokia guidelines and the software level according to the updater is o the 400 version.
