I have a Nokia E63 mobile set. Recently, I updated its firmware with Nokia OVI Suite to 500.21.009. After update, it seems to work fine but when I tried to connect to my wireless router, it says "Connection Not Avaible" but the icon for wlan stays near the battery indicator icon. When I try to connect again, it says "Wlan connection already active, close it and try again". And when I try to disconnect with wlan, i cannot find disconnect option. Becoz of the problem, I tried googling, found that some problems were resolved by reinstalling the update. So, I tried the same without luck. I also tried Factory Reset which didnt worked. After that, I tried GPRS connection and found that I cannot connect with GPRS either.

I had my home network setup sweet for a while but then my phone started dropping the connection like crazy. One second I could go to a webpage and then the next it would say WLAN not found. Keep in mind this was literally 10cm from the wireless router.Now at work I tried connecting to the WLAN after following a very comprehensive guide put together by our IT department with all the required details. I also downloaded the required certificate and opened it (selecting all 3 of the options that come up, whatever they were).Another person at work has the E65 and they connected fine. I have attached the settings I used in case you can spot something wrong.

I've try to connect ma phone to WiFi but i keep receiving msg like this...Wlan network found But every time i try to open found network it appear to be a HIDDEN NETWORK and wen i try to access the network I'll be ask to give network name of which i dont know.

I just got the phone and I was wondering if anyone can please help me connect to the interent without having to find a wireless hotspot! Its really annoying! Whenever I try to use the browser it says 'connecting' then 'select connection' and the only option it gives me is 'search for WLAN'.

My E72 cannot connect to WIFI or GPRS after I got a firmware update. Whenever I try to connect, I get error messages like "Connection not available" or "Web: Unable to perform operation". My software version is 054.005 for RM-530.

I am using Nokia E52 since last 11 months, I have problem that my hand set starts transmitting / receiving data through gprs without any manual or software requirement, I don't have installed any software to my mobile,Also gone for Nokia care they have formatted and updated software thries, but problem remains same, I have latest version of E52 released on 9th June 11.

I recently upgraded the firmware of my Nokia E71 to the latest version i.e. 500-21-009. I followed the instructions in Nokia site and took complete backup before upgrading and restored entire stuff after upgrade. Now, though my settings are intact as it was before upgrade and my operator (Airtel) also confirmed that my GPRS subscription is active, I can not connect to Web nor can check my emails. Whenever I attempt to browse, it gives an error message saying - 'Connection Not available'! In fact, I checked inserting my CIM card to another Nokia phone and could browse Internet with same GPRS settings as in E71.

I just got my E7 and every time I want to connect to a WIFI spot I need to enter the passkey. I upgraded from E72 and before that I had an E71, and on both phones I only needed to enter the passkey once and I only have to select the particular wlan connection after that, no need to enter the passkey.
By the nature of my work i always connect to different wifi spots of my clients, so you see this is really important for me

I have a strange problem. My E5 has the following setting for WLAN:
Ctr Panel>Settings>Connection>Wireless LAN>Show WLAN Availablity = Never
However, the entire time the background scanning is being done and "Select WLAN Network" popup comes with all the networks around me. I guess this is eating into the battery life and barely 10 hrs in the day, the battery dies out. I would like to add that I am a non phone person & hardly talk on the phone.
I am able to access the network service providers 3G network normally. I want to shut this background scanning for good and use only the network of my service provider.

I tried to connect to a wlan network (Name) and entered a wrong wep key. After i found out how to change the wep key i realised that i had more networks (Name01, Name02). I still can`t connect to my initial network as the wep key is still incorrect but i can connect to 01 and 02. I would like to delete Name and Name01 networks from my list. I couldn`t delete them from Menu - Ctrl. panel - Connectivity - WLAN wiz. My phone is an E52

I have nokia E6 with 025.007 software. I have saved accesspoint with saved password.Password on this AP was changed and now when I'm trying to connect from my Nokia E6 I receive 'Check password'.But I didn't find any place where I could change password.In Settings-Connectivity-WLAN I see only information about APs. But I could not delete/chage saved password here.

I upgraded my software and now the Wlan connection is unable to connect. The phone says I'm already connect to a WLAN. But I haven't set up any access points yet and no other data connections are active. If I hold the end call key down the just beeps rather than ending any connections.I have reformatted the phone as per nokia guidelines and the software level according to the updater is o the 400 version.

I am a E63 user....the WLAN scanning suddenly stoped actually i was using an app for my phone,Upvise i wanted to cut the wifi connection i did so by going to connectivity>conn. mgr. and killed the connection after that i am uable to scan Wlan networks and when i go to WLAN wizard it shows 'system error'.

I am having problems with gprs in my e71x. It used to work fine earlier but now when on using the web browser it just shows wifi under the internet destinations.I have gprs configured as an accesspoint inside internet destination and it worked great earlier but now for some reason it is no more visible to any apps.I tried restoring the phone to factory settings, reformatted it and even reflashed the 3.78 firmware but couldn't fix the problem.

I face Handset Rebooting Issue with My E63. When I use GPRS on my Mobile/Laptop/Pc after some time My handset reboot automatically. I contact with Tatat Docomo Customer care and he check all things but he not found any problem in Network.

Operator :- Tata Docomo
Access Point :- TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET
I also Check it in Different Nokia Handset and found same Rebooting Problem in N73, 5310XpressMusic. But Problem not Occured when I use Non Nokia Handset eg; Samsung GT3530, Galaxy Y.

Ever since I've upgraded my E72 to version 51, phone tends to crash almost every time I turn on WLAN scanning, displaying a System Error message, forcing me to lose all my data, including applications I've paid for.From what I've read here on the forums, I understand that reverting to factory settings might fix this issue, but I don't that I should not be forced to lose everything on my device due to Nokia's incompetence, especially since I have no guarantee that this issue will not show up again.

When i connect it to PC in my mobile it shows the connecting options suite,mass storage etc.But nothing works..
Another e71 of my friend is able connect to the same PC as normal.

I have a newly unboxed e7, in fact two days old, and the thing is, it just cant seem to figure out the difference between a connection from a microUSB cable connected to my mac and the charger connected into the power outlet.
The first time I connected it to the mac, everything was fine. I switched to mass memory, transferred some data, and disconnected, and well, I cant seem to do that again. I dont see the USB icon on the top right corner, and the darn thing just charges away to glory.
Switching between the modes of USB connection does not help (Nokia Ovi suite, mass storage, media transfer, conn. pc to net), *7370# didnt help, trying a Blackberry cable dint help, downloading the isync plugin for the e7 did not help as it cant detect the device.
Funnily enough, USB OTG seems to be working fine. This is one quirky phone man.

I'm having problems connecting my E72 phone to my computer. I've installed PC Suite for my E72, I've also installed the driver for the USB cable and have selected PC Suite as USB option. When I connect my phone to my computer, nothing happens.I'm running Windows XP SP3.I have tried some of the things that were suggested in other related topics, but no joy.

Not sure if this has been asked before, probably has, but I cannot connect to the ovi store on my phone, after I enter my account details, keeps saying sign in failed even though I can sign into ovi on my computer, I have reset the cache and cleared cookies, cookies are allowed on my phone all that. I have synced it with the ovi suite all that perfectly but, I don't know why I can't sign into the ovi store on my phone, or sync with ovi sync on my phone either. Im living in Ireland if that makes any difference at all and on vodafone network.

I been having this weird issue for two months now. Suddenly my phone is not connecting anymore to Gtalk and display the next message: Not logged in Google Talk (Code604).I've look for the code error in the web and i have not found any help, or any hint that can lead me to correct this issue. I have delete and reinstall several times the chat app, I have change the password to only letters or only numbers, the lenght (6, 7 or 8), upper case, lower case... and so on. This is the screen that I get, in case someone can relate:If I try on ebuddy or nimbuzz those connect just fine. Now that I remember i have even deleted my ebuddy and nimbuzz account just in case those were the problem. I also did the google chaptcha from the phone browers and delete all the cookies and stuff just in case.The funny thing is that I discoverd recently, that I can log on to other Gmail accounts, but not to mine! Look is the same phone:The Yahoo!, the MSN and even the useless ovi chat works fine. I do realize that this might be a problem of the Google Account and not the phone, but I don't know. I don't want to hard reset because I dont know if i'm gonna lose the cool apps that ovi gave free the last month to e72 users?

I really bought this phone because of the WiFi capability and now im so frustrated. 50% of the time i can connect to my router at home and the remaining time i get the message:
"browser unable to connect to website"
I dont understand what is happening. I tried resetting the router and the phone and nothing works. My nokia 5530 works on it without a problem and my friends use other devices on it without a problem (tablet, cell, laptops)

I have a brand new E72. I have set up MS Exchange, Gmail and a POP3 accounts.
The problem is that my phone keeps on asking me 'Select Connection' if I want to connect using Wifi, WAP or Internet. First of all, I do not know which app requires the connection. This is definitely a UI improvement! How can I know which app requires the connection!
Let's assume it is my mails accounts which try to connect (I have played with the Control Panel / App Manager). The issue is I cannot find how to tell my mail accounts I want to force the connections to Vodafone Internet 'Contract Internet'.
It seems that I can only select the connection point for my first email account and not for the remaining ones.. Is that correct? That's a bug.
