I turn my 'data access via mobile network' on, but nothing happens and I get NO internet connection. There is no problem with my provider, and my wifi at home still works. I 've had this problem yesterday and now after downloading the new version of android, the problem is still here.

View 10 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to access web sites from the Blackberry browser I get the "Unable to connect to the selected mobile data service. Please try again later" message. This happens whether connected through the T-Mobile network or Wi-fi.When I change the browser settings to the T-Mobile browser I am able to access web site just fine. However I would prefer to use the Blackberry browser because not all pages load correctly with the T-Mobile browser.
I have an active data plan and am connected to an enterprise server. My outlook and webmail e-mails work so I don't think it's a problem with my carrier. I've tried a battery pull, re-sending my service books, etc without luck.I think the problem may have started after connecting to my desktop for the first time in about a year, but I'm not completely certain. T-Mobile support and IT administrator have been no help.
I just updated my phone software to new build number 4.0.2.A.0.62 After the update, access to 3G network was loss.Browsing the web and even the Android market becomes impossible.

I have restarted the phone, contacted my network provider for the information to set up a new connection, have updated the software, have done a reset but nothing is working. I also do not have the 3G symbol next to my network provider so something seems to be missing or not working correctly.
I have put the sim into my Iphone and I do not have any problems. It immediately connects to 3G and I have internet and do not have to change any setup info. Its pretty frustrating as I have only had it for less than a week but have spent most of the time searching for a solution and am wondering, if there are this many issues, whether not to just return the phone. Any tips to setup the mobile data connection?
I realised on my mobile that once i activate airplane mode with the mobile data on, it doesnt disable the mobile data. It is still on while the wifi turns off.

After a few problems with my phone, I had to flash the stock ROM again. This was done without a problem and everything works, except for my mobile data. When I press it, it will turn green, but no letter will appear at the top of my screen and the data just wont work.

It downloads properly, but when I try to open the Gmail, it keeps constantly asking for internet connection. But the connection is there! I press the "yes" but it keeps asking till finally tells to check the connectivity... And I have no problems with browsing the internet or opening and using my email accounts via web. I checked my settings but they seemed to be fine. But Gmail just doesn`t work, though I`ve tried several versions besides the newest one.

When I enable Mobile Hotspot or share the connection through USB, the other devices connect just fine, but no data is received at all.
* Tested with both a laptop and another phone
* To rule out carrier restrictions, I put the SIM in a Nexus4 and enabled Wifi tethering, then connected to it with the S5, works np, just not the other way around.
Ive had my z3 about 3 weeks on three network and it has been dropping the mobile data connection daily. If i reset the phone it starts to work again. But after a couple of hours it loses it again.
