BB Torch :: Wifi Doesn't Work With Data Services Off

My wifi doesn't work ( i cant surf) with data services off. and if i keep data services on that is if my blackberry services..and surf the webpages ..my balance gets decducted..but i have unlimited blackberry plan. and on the first place my balance shouldnt be deducted because i am using my wifi ( in case my page gets open through wifif not blackberry services) and if i am using my balckberry internet either way my balances shouldnt get decducted.
I recently changed my bb 9670 style cdma for a torch 9860 gsm and now with this new bb the bis service over the wifi is not working and is the same carrier just changed the device, also i have a unlimited data plan, but in some areas where im used to stay there is bad reception so i used to be connected by wifi for my bis services, is this a problem of the gsm or RIM, i called several times to costumer assistance but they said that new os7 dont support bis over wifi, and thats not true so what u recomend to me
My wifi is connected, shows great signal strength, yet it doesn't work? Anything I try doesn't work, FB, Chrome, any app that uses internet connection.. I don't get what's going on... I did remove the WIFI info and forget it, then reconnect... that doesn't work. The only thing that fixes it, is if I restart my phone.
I have a SM-G900F (no carrier) European S5, bought like a couple months ago, not rooted or installed any custom rom, full stock on 5.0.
When I enable Mobile Hotspot or share the connection through USB, the other devices connect just fine, but no data is received at all.
* Tested with both a laptop and another phone * To rule out carrier restrictions, I put the SIM in a Nexus4 and enabled Wifi tethering, then connected to it with the S5, works np, just not the other way around.
I have a Blackberry 9800 Torch and my internet doesn't work, it's unlocked and it used to work fine til I change my rate plan but I do have unlimited everything in this new rate plan. My emails account work and everything else works when I'm over wifi
I have a nokia c3 with the ovi store app and it dosent work. I search a app and it says no searches found, or on the featured page i select a app it says unable to connect and when i go onto my stuff it says unable to open my stuff. All my internet settings are fine.
I have problem with my ovi store in my new Nokia N8. I can´t loggin to ovi store. The program show website, which is for "Ovi Store Application download" and if I download and install app and start app agains, the program show me the same website. I tested reinstall SW and reinstall app, but it doesn´t work.
I updated my E72's phone software yesterday and just now tried re-downloading the software I'd previously bought from Ovi Store - but it doesn't work!When I first started Ovi Store on the phone, it asked me to update, which I did (wouldn't work otherwise), but now when I open the application, all I get is a message saying "Resource does not exist". I have started using my wifes old Pearl 9105 for my work provided SIM. I can make and receive calls and texts ok. However when I try to connect to WIFI I get " Failed to associate with the network". The router is seen and the profile saved. The router does not have MAC filtering enabled. The router sees the device and shows the correct MAC. The WiFi connection shows as on but has a white dash next to it and not a green tick. I have tried powering down the router and removing the device battery with no success. The device also shows the 3G or EDGE symbol, but does not connect to the APP store or the internet.
I normally sync the agenda between outlook 2003 and C7 with Ovi-suite.After update to symbian Anna it doesn't work.Strange is that Ovi suite gives the number of events that did not sync.So he can recognize them, but can't sync.
How will I get to know that my phone is currently using wifi network or my mobile network while using data services? Can i install whatsapp without either purchasing it or jailbreaking my iphone?
Droid Turbo (Android Version 5.1) - WIFI works fine at home and seems to work other places. I have been using it for months at work. Recently I cannot connect. Other people can still connect. I had the connection saved...but even tried deleting it and researching, but it won't locate the server.
I'm hesitated to buy BB because i want to know:If not ,does downloaded WLM work with wifi? (because it doesn't using my friend's BB with my OWN sim card.I'm trying to connect downloaded WLM over WIFI but is says: data services unavailable )Installing third party applications ex: Antivirus , games or etc...if i want to use wifi for other things than BB services such as updating those third parties, can it be done over wifi?want to know how much restrictions do i have using Wifi in BB an i do all the other things on wifi that is usually/normally done on wifi excluding BB services ?
When my C6-01 is connected to my home wifi, Ovi Store allways connects to my operator's data network. If I set the phone to "Offline" mode, it's not possible to download anything from Ovi Store. Why is that? Wasn't Ovi Store supposed to work on offline mode, without a data connection, when wifi is available?
My blackberry torch will suddenly stop being able to connect to any internet service. It has service and the BIS logo. I get the unable to connect to the internet message. Anyone have any solutions? I tried cycling airplane mode, battery pull, and pulling and replacing the sim. This is frustrating to say the least.
I have a Blackberry Torch 9800, in the past I have the Full service plan, that allowed everything, now I have downgraded to only e-mails. But now I can't even surf the web with the Wifi network or access to the APP World, is this for real all over the world or just my Carrier is blocking everything??
I turn my 'data access via mobile network' on, but nothing happens and I get NO internet connection. There is no problem with my provider, and my wifi at home still works. I 've had this problem yesterday and now after downloading the new version of android, the problem is still here.
I upgraded to lollipop today, all fine except my mobile data doesn't work.Tried turning off and on, switching to airplane mode and back, and changing mobile operator and back, still not working.
it comes to black screen and have no reaction when i touch the screen, but iinstalled some camera application , i still works with those apps,but the quality is not good as default camera app.
Just switched from a bold 9700 to bold 9900. Our mobile signal is extremely limited since we're out in the country so wifi is essential here.On my 9700, wifi worked perfectly with all applications but that doesn't appear to be the case with the bold 9900. Several apps are extremely slow or don't work at all. I think the reason for this is the 9900 isn't using wifi for some apps. I believe some apps are using wifi such as the browser and facebook but app world, google maps, scoremobile, whatsapp and tunein radio to name a few don't appear to be using wifi at all.
Just bought an unlocked Blackberry Bold 9000 the wifi doesn't seem to work. I can connect to wifi hotspots but I can't access the internet at all it is always "unable to connect to the internet" What should I do to get this to work? I know I can connect to routers, my internet just refuses to work though.I don't have a data plan, does that mean I can't use my WiFi? My OS is 5.2
My iPhone is connected to wifi just fine. Data will not work on wifi but works fine on at&t connection. My iMac is connected to same wifi and works just fine.

My IPhone 5 will connect to wifi and the cellular says LTE which usually would work. Safari will load pages VERY slowly but nothing else will work. The Facebook app says "Network Error"- Messages wont send and I cannot download IOS 7.1.2 because it says "Software Update Unavailable" I have tried restart and resetting my phone. I have also tried resetting my network setting. And I have tried more than one Wifi connection. Nothing is working.
When I had ios 6 my imessage was working fine despite me reading complaints then I updated to ios 7 and it stopped working I have tried all the tips and tricks posted on the web it'll work maximum for a day and stop. I will be starting to type out the message as imessage then it's sent as a text because at that split second it decided to stop working again. Â
Had issues for a couple weeks now and basically now WiFi connection is useless for it. Tried resetting the router, cleaned the sim, checked net speeds, closed apps etc and have a constant problem. One of the reasons I got the Z5 was the remote play for the PS4 and I think I've been able to use it twice. Every other time states connection too low. Can't watch YouTube on it states connection error. Can't even WhatsApp half the time.
