When I had ios 6 my imessage was working fine despite me reading complaints then I updated to ios 7 and it stopped working I have tried all the tips and tricks posted on the web it'll work maximum for a day and stop. I will be starting to type out the message as imessage then it's sent as a text because at that split second it decided to stop working again. Â

I recently got a new iPhone 4. I have had problems with my iMessage since i first got it. Now my iMessage will only work when there is a wifi network and I can't revieve any texts that are sent from other iPhones (not using wifi) through their own iMessage. They all use their iMessage through their 3G network and mine doesnt seem to be working. At the moment my iMessage will not activate, it seems to be one thing after another, what can I do to make it so that I can use it through my 3G network?

I'm currently out of the country and have data services turned off. Had to redo settings. iMessage for phone number is now unverified and "waiting to be activated". It works with my email, but not my phone number, which is what most people have. Is there a way to verify phone number when the phone data is turned off? Or can I only receive via my email address until I am back in the US

My wife is on a school trip to the US. Meanwhile, I am at home in Canada. I am texting her, but I found it odd she never replies and vice versa. So, she discovered that her iPhone (latest iOS 5 release) keeps trying to send the message as an iMessage. It is not reverting to SMS after a given time, as it should and as I have seen it do before. I have tried it now also and my wife only receives my messages when she has a wifi connection (she does not have data roaming enabled). It seems like my iPhone too continously tries to send the message as an iMessage and it does not switch to SMS after a certain timeout time. The message that the iPhone continously tries to send as an iMessage never fails, however the status does not change until the next time my wife is in wifi coverage and the message is delivered.

My IPhone 5 will connect to wifi and the cellular says LTE which usually would work. Safari will load pages VERY slowly but nothing else will work. The Facebook app says "Network Error"- Messages wont send and I cannot download IOS 7.1.2 because it says "Software Update Unavailable" I have tried restart and resetting my phone. I have also tried resetting my network setting. And I have tried more than one Wifi connection. Nothing is working.

I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1 when it was released. My friend updated his iPhone 4S delayed, yesterday. Before yesterday iMessage worked well between our iPhones.But since my friend updated to iOS 5.1 as well, iMessage does not work anymore between our two iPhones.iMessage works well with all other adresses we both use as well. My wifi doesn't work ( i cant surf) with data services off. and if i keep data services on that is if my blackberry services..and surf the webpages ..my balance gets decducted..but i have unlimited blackberry plan. and on the first place my balance shouldnt be deducted because i am using my wifi ( in case my page gets open through wifif not blackberry services) and if i am using my balckberry internet either way my balances shouldnt get decducted.

I have to disable one to get networking to work. Ill try locale app but networking should work seamlessly.Now I see the 3G icon and the H icon whirring away and I have 'Mobile network' disabled.Anyone else having these network issues? When I enable Mobile Hotspot or share the connection through USB, the other devices connect just fine, but no data is received at all.
* Tested with both a laptop and another phone
* To rule out carrier restrictions, I put the SIM in a Nexus4 and enabled Wifi tethering, then connected to it with the S5, works np, just not the other way around.
Will Razr Maxx GPS work without have a WIFI or data connection? For instance, if you were outside the country and you had no phone service or wi-fi service, would google maps still be able to show your location?

I updated to iOS 5.1.1 today, and ever since my iMessages will send, say they're delivered and the display the exclamation point and the delivery failure notification. Now the weird thing is that sometimes the person I send to actually does recieve the imessage, and then I'll still see the delivery failure notification and below it "read at ....". I also use messages beta for os X, and this stopped working altogether.
