Does anyone know how I can reset my phone to get rid of this error please? Or is it better to take it to an 02 shop (02 is my service provider) and let them do it? I rang O2 earlier and their helpline didnt know how to help me. Ive google this error but cant seem to fix problem

View 5 Replies View RelatedRunning Bold 9000 w/ OS 5.0.0.681 on AT&T. First reformat both device memory and media card. Then issue a soft reset. Instead of standard reset, it performs a "Fast Reset". Upon viewing Device Memory, it states:
"Device Memory cannot be read."
4 GB media card is fine, without errors. In order to restore, it requires a repair. Upon issuing repair, it returns as successful (able to read & write to the 859.2 MB of total space).Does not occur with 4.6.0.304, appears to be a bug in 5.0.0.681.
I have a Blackberry Bold 9000, I haven't much applications or themes because I don't want to use the application memory. It shows memory is 20MB but after some time as I use my phone it becomes less like 2mb sometimes and when I reset the phone again it comes back to 20mb.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running Vista with Black Berry Device Manager 5.0.1.11 and BBDevMgr 4.1.0.12. I am using the latest Microsoft Bluetooth drivers.
I can connect once and synch several times with my Blackberry Bold 9000. But as soon as I disconnect once, the Device Manager does not connect anymore when trying again.
I do recognice in the Bluetooth status window - both on the BB and Vista - that there is a short connection and breaks again. That repeats all the time.
If I try to search again for the BB, it is not found anymore. It is still registered in the Bluetooth devices but the Device Manager does not find it anymore.
Deleting the entry in the the Bluetooth device section does not help. I do have to do a reset (battery out or the alt-shift-del key) then I can reconnect once again.
Someone does have the same problem?
I am quite sure that the problem is in the Device Manager (not the Desktop Manager) - but it can also be a device software and / or hardware problem.
Trying to do the mandatory reset for the password on a hotmail account and all roads (edit, delete, validate) lead to a frozen "Login" screen.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi have a black berry 9000 showing me App Error 523 on white screen. When ever I try to restart my phone it shows this error. And I cant even connect my phone to my computer. When ever I connect my phone to my computer it shows connecting and even if I check it up after 6 hours it shows connecting. So i am not even able to connect my phone to the computer so that i can install the new software. An its even showing reset below the error but when ever i press the phone gets re- started and it again shows the same error.

I am currently using the latest release of 5.0 and last night my phone was working fine. When I woke up this morning, my screen had the "App error 205" message on it. That is two failures in one month now and I have to go to work in a few minutes so I won't even have time to wipe my device to at least have a working phone for the day. I have to take the battery out at night to charge because the usb charging port is broken, and when I put it back in the following morning I get the following error message: "Supplementary Service Error: General Error. Along with getting the error, I'm being charged anywhere form $0.60 to $1.10 each morning. I've tried restoring the phone and deleting all the third party applications. - reading every thread about it
- several 5 min+ battery pulls
- reinstalling the OS
- delete apps
and no solution so far. Is there any way to fix this without sending it back to warranty?? (I bought it online at a HK shop) I think I'm about to cry now
I am using Vista Ultimate and am trying to use the Media Manager section of the Desktop Manager.
But I am getting an error message as follows;

This application has requestd the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Which I did and got an automated email telling me basically they won't help unless I am a paying customer.
I removed my media card, transferred some pics to my computer, then re-inserted my media card. Have done this dozens of times, but this time when I re-inserted the media card I got a message saying "Media card inserted contains errors please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer." I have no idea what this means.
