Galaxy S5 :: Phone Won't Reactivate After Factory Reset
Feb 22, 2015Updated my phone when Lollipop came out. A lot of stuff started happening. My battery gets hot, battery drains fast, the GPS fails, and other odd things.
So I reset my phone and reseated my SIM card. Restarted my phone and now it won't reactivate on the Verizon network.

Aug 30, 2014I have a 32gig iPhone4 that I purchased second hand. Recently I knocked it into the toilet...I turned it off straight away, left it to dry.Â
After 5 days drying I gave it a full charge, turned it on and the display was all sketchy. I've kept trying with it, realised that the display would function fine at times so have I put it in recovery mode, factory reset it and managed to get it out of recovery mode. Â
I'm back at a fresh start, however when trying to activate the handset via iTunes I keep getting the same error....'0xE8000004'. How I can get this phone back up and running?Â

Jun 1, 2014My phone went under recovery mode after a quick dip in some water today, after plugging it in and doing a factory reset, it went to the 'Hello, hola, bonjour' screen. When asked to enter my Apple ID & password to activate my phone, it said the email was incorrect. I've called Apple & they said it was the corresponding email. I've used the same Apple ID to sign into everything; iTunes, iCloud online, Facetime on my MacBook Air. I even used it to sign in to ask this question .. It's just my phone that won't accept my Apple ID.
Also, when plugged into my laptop, error 2005 & 9 came up.

Jun 6, 2010Running Bold 9000 w/ OS 5.0.0.681 on AT&T. First reformat both device memory and media card. Then issue a soft reset. Instead of standard reset, it performs a "Fast Reset". Upon viewing Device Memory, it states:
"Device Memory cannot be read."
4 GB media card is fine, without errors. In order to restore, it requires a repair. Upon issuing repair, it returns as successful (able to read & write to the 859.2 MB of total space).Does not occur with 4.6.0.304, appears to be a bug in 5.0.0.681.

Mar 13, 2010I am running Vista with Black Berry Device Manager 5.0.1.11 and BBDevMgr 4.1.0.12. I am using the latest Microsoft Bluetooth drivers.
I can connect once and synch several times with my Blackberry Bold 9000. But as soon as I disconnect once, the Device Manager does not connect anymore when trying again.
I do recognice in the Bluetooth status window - both on the BB and Vista - that there is a short connection and breaks again. That repeats all the time.
If I try to search again for the BB, it is not found anymore. It is still registered in the Bluetooth devices but the Device Manager does not find it anymore.
Deleting the entry in the the Bluetooth device section does not help. I do have to do a reset (battery out or the alt-shift-del key) then I can reconnect once again.
Someone does have the same problem?
I am quite sure that the problem is in the Device Manager (not the Desktop Manager) - but it can also be a device software and / or hardware problem.

I am very used to the Iphone and HTC Touch Pro 2 (not trying to start a flaming/argument/anything else , its just what i'm used to). I am very used to browsing with the other phones and I have heard that BB phones are not up to par, so my expectations will be low. Out of the two phones however, does one perform better than the other (Curve 8530 vs Bold 9000)? Out of the two phones, which one do you recommend overall. I have read that the Bold 9000 even though it is older, it still outperforms the 8530...

The device still works, but two thirds of the LCD is now white and there's what looks like an inkblot on the left side of the screen. Sep 18, 2010A few days ago I pulled my phone out of the holster and It was really hot and when i looked at it i realized it was off, and wouldnt turn back on. just a red light comes on like normal upon a battery pull but after it turns off the red light comes back on again once more then stays off for good. unless i plug it in then it comes on and goes off all the time. I got it powered back up yesterday but then it did it again. Today I plugged it in and I saw a picture of a battery come up on the screen showing it as empty, i was hoping that meant it might charge up. but no such luck. My main objective is just to get the phone up long enough to back up the info on the phone.
