I had a problem with my micro sd card which was rectified my a BB tech today. After he had me do a reset, my yahoo and hotmail message icons are missing. All of my messages go into the message file but not into the dedicated files under the right icon.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe other day I reset my homescreen. Now a lot of my app icons are missing. When I look for them in the search function the come up and I can access them that way but I can't figure out how to get the actual icon back! They are definitely not hidden in any folders.

This is the third instance of it happening and the device otherwise works fine. I've been able to reload the OS and get it working, but this is going to get old.The whole thing is complicated with BES on GroupWise, sometimes the contacts aren't 100% in sync with the mailbox so its not just a matter of restore, reactivate and go.

"Device Memory cannot be read."
4 GB media card is fine, without errors. In order to restore, it requires a repair. Upon issuing repair, it returns as successful (able to read & write to the 859.2 MB of total space).Does not occur with 4.6.0.304, appears to be a bug in 5.0.0.681.
I have a Blackberry Bold 9000, I haven't much applications or themes because I don't want to use the application memory. It shows memory is 20MB but after some time as I use my phone it becomes less like 2mb sometimes and when I reset the phone again it comes back to 20mb.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running Vista with Black Berry Device Manager 5.0.1.11 and BBDevMgr 4.1.0.12. I am using the latest Microsoft Bluetooth drivers.
I can connect once and synch several times with my Blackberry Bold 9000. But as soon as I disconnect once, the Device Manager does not connect anymore when trying again.
I do recognice in the Bluetooth status window - both on the BB and Vista - that there is a short connection and breaks again. That repeats all the time.
If I try to search again for the BB, it is not found anymore. It is still registered in the Bluetooth devices but the Device Manager does not find it anymore.
Deleting the entry in the the Bluetooth device section does not help. I do have to do a reset (battery out or the alt-shift-del key) then I can reconnect once again.
Someone does have the same problem?
I am quite sure that the problem is in the Device Manager (not the Desktop Manager) - but it can also be a device software and / or hardware problem.
Trying to do the mandatory reset for the password on a hotmail account and all roads (edit, delete, validate) lead to a frozen "Login" screen.
View 4 Replies View RelatedFirst off when I take my phone out of lock or wake up it from sleeping the icons are missing till i wipe my finger across the screen.. its weird to explain but its kinda like i have to swipe the whole screen for the icons to be visable the same thing happens when my phone goes to sleep and the keyboard is open.. any ideas?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI replaced a Torch, 9800, with a replacement unit. All seems to work except the icons on the bottom of the bbm screen. They are normally "send", view contact info" etc. However, I just show a single star in the middle bottom where the icons should be.
