I revised my apple ID with a new email address and new password online on my computer. My iphone does not recognize it. What's the problem?

need an email address for apple reason why is bought my iphone4s in ireland since moved to australia speaker now is not working for call have to put it on loud and apple retail stores here will not replace it as different zone to where i got it. i am not happy with this as it means i would have to send the phone all the way back to ireland and go with out a phone witch is bad custmore support on apples behalf i think.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI`ve reduced my emailaccounts and the one I had on my Iphone as appleid I changed on apples page on the internet to a emailaddress I actually am using.
Now I cant change it on the Iphone! I`ve tried to reenter it on apples page (I hadnt/havent yet deleated it) but its not possible, why? I cant make a copy with my files and music etc because the emailaddress is wrong on the device...:-(
I dont dare to turn the phone off because I might not be able to open it!!! And to erase the account on the phone I suspect all my content will disapear and not be ably to use the iphone anymore!
This week I tried to join Itunes in order to set up my new Iphone. When entering my personal information it prompted that ai already had an account set up.I thought perhaps I had done this in the past and forgotten about it, so continued and asked for a password re-set which was emailed to my address. With password and account set up I proceeded to set up my Iphone. It was only when I tried downloading Apps I noticed it was picking up Apps in Australia and not UK.
I went into the account details and saw the details of person with exactly the same name and year of birth as me living in Australia, not in the UK as I do. I had access to everything, credit card details, DOB, security questions, the lot. I promptly deleted all this and replaced with my own details and changed passwords again. As soon as I could I called Apple who said it was probably an error and said that the account was for my email address so now all the details are changed it should be ok.

My husband and I have the same email address, when I set up my iphone I put in the incorrect email address by 1 number and it was set as my Apple ID. Now the only way I can download an app is through the itunes website on our IMAC then sinc my phone to our itunes account. I have tried to change my Apple ID but because my husband and I share an email address, myapple ID will not let me use the same Apple ID.

I went to Settings - iTunes& App Store, I was able to update Apple ID and password, but for iCloud, it will not let me change Apple ID, just the option for deleting the account with old email address. I recently had water damage to my BB Curve 9300 phone, stupidly I had not relaised but transfered all my contacts from SIM to phone Of course all this info got wiped when the phone was repaired. But i had registred with Blackberry ID and got a few apps one of which was BB Protect, backing up all my contacts etc. However now when I go to enter my email and password for BB ID it does not recognise me, I have tried 'forgot password' and the same happens, it does not recognise my email or any other emails I use. I have spoken to O2 and they say they can see I registered with BB and state if I had apps must have registered an email address. I am going mad because they must have an address and password for me as they allowed me to get other free apps, therefore my info must be on their system. I don't want to re-register as BB Protect will not recognise the new name or will it? Does it take other info when you register, like the PIN or IMEI?

Not sure why but I can login on my computer but when I try to get into facebook t is asking for me email and password. When I try it I get I get a message ( You have entered an incorrect Email/Password combination)
The email has been verified online and its the same password I have been using to login to the website with. Nothing has changed.
My BB ID for my Torch has an email address that is missing a digit.When I reached the maximum login attempts, I tried resetting the password but the BB ID for this device is missing a '1', thus when it sends the reset email, it's sending it to an email that isn't mine. I reset my password for the BB ID I thought was for this device, which includes the '1', but when I try using that BB ID on this phone, it says something like "use the BB ID associated with this device".

I received message saying I needed to validate my email address and password because I am no longer receiving emails to my phone. I tried to log in and the username and password don't work. I've never had to use this password and email until now, therefore is should not have been changed. I don't know how to fix the settings at all especially since I can't log into my settings!
