I need to reset an existing email and setup is now asking me to login with a user name and password, this has not been the case in the past on my phone. I do not have a password enabled on my phone. It will give a forgotten password option and asks for a username. No matter what email address I give it tells me the password was successfully sent to my blackberry, but it does not appear in any of my email addresses. I have shut off the phone; taken out the sim card and battery and started back up and that doesn't change it either.

I had an email account set up on my own domain which worked great. But due to a large amount of spam emails I decided to change my address. I set up a new email address on the server and deleted the old account from my handset.Problem is, I now cannot get the new address to work!!I just get a message saying 'Invalid email address or password...'None of the email addresses on my hosting server will work, I have tried existing addresses, new addresses, resetting passwords, sending service books, re-registering device on network, downgrading devive software, data-wiping, upgrading the devic software... the list goes on!I have contacted my hosting provider and they have confirmed that everything is ok at their end.

I have had my Bold for almost two years now and I've NEVER had a problem... until now. I received message saying I needed to validate my email address and password because I am no longer receiving emails to my phone. I tried to log in and the username and password don't work. When put in email (surname) settings (which still work on laptop) receive the following: "'The information you provided is incorrect. Retype your user name and password.
