I have a bold 9870, I downloaded a theme from applications and now cannot do anything with my phone. It is running really slow, takes about 5 mins to reset (taking battery out) and I can't get into any functions, especially the setting so I can get rid of the theme.Anyone got any ideas so I can get my phone back to normal?
I was having duplicate contacts, so i have performed the "rset"command to delete the duplicates and re-sync contacts with server.since then my bb is running too slow and freezes.when I go to mobile network options -> turn "data services" OFF my BB works fine but when i turned "data services" ON it works very slow and battery drains in period of 4 hours.
I noticed my trackball was delaying by a couple seconds early this week. 4 days later the trackball does not work AT ALL. Is there any way of navigating the blackberry device without using the trackball. If not, what would you recommend me doing. I have backed up everything except my password keeper (which I don't think can be backed up).
I have got a BB Bold 9870. My Bluetooth is not working. For a short while, I could pair it with the Bluetooth kit in my car and I was able to receive call. However, the blue light on the top right corner of the phone just kept flashing and when I try to turn it off, it actually indicated the Bluetooth is off. When I tried to turn the Bluetooth back on, it just wouldn't turn on.
I have a blackberry bold 9870 and it is all of a sudden not recognizing my password to unlock my phone. I have only one attempt left before it wipes my phone
I just got white screen of death on my daughters 9870 bold she has only had it since Christmas, What is the recourse via either blackberry or my mobile operator for sorting this faulty phone out.
My blackberyy has been working all fine for a year and tehn suddenly it gave me multi color lines and a white screen when clicking on the red button when its locked.then it turns back to normal when i click on the lock button twice :/ and when i leave the phone for a whille the screen normally sleeps when i want to light it by clicking the red button it gives a white screen,, then i have to click the lock button twice so that the phone works
I want to add my hotmail account to my phone but doesnt work.. when I select set-up e-mail, choose internet email (so not enterprise) screen freezes and goes back 1 setp. how do I fix? FYI.. already performed FactoryReset so device is clean, OS 6.0.0.668?
I am wondering why my n96runs so slow. Its running on vers 30 with no other apps running in the background other than email on 3 which has never caused a problem before but for some reason it seems really slow and laggy, Simple operations like opening a text take several minutes its so frustrating. Any ideas what I can do or will it need to be the old faithful reset?
I have a 9900 and it goes through periods of the timer appearing in the middle of the phone screen thus stopping me from doing any acts on my phone. I hardly have added further applications and I generally don't download music and no videos and a small gallery of pics so what's going why the long pauses?
maybe its just me, but when i try and charge my 9700 with a usb charger its slooooooooooowwwwwwww. like almost worthless. it would seriously take hours to get it charged.
is that just me? it doesnt matter if its plugged into a cigarette plug adapter, or right into my computer...
these are the same cords that charged my 8310 beautifully.
Now I would have thought my 9650 would be just as fast on the internet as my laptop is via wi-fi. WRONG! why is that? I have 3G also and its not very fast. Is it me? or just BB's in general?
Got my new 9900 a couple of weeks ago, besides the horrible battery life, When roaming, the data transfer rate (on 3G or 2G) deteriorates to a halt. Takes several minutes to download a web page. It even looses its connectivity to BBM at times. None of these issues occur when I am at home country. I am wondering if anyone else experiences similar issue and if there is any solution to the problem. The primary reason to have a BB is for its always ON reliability which unfortunately have been lacking on the "NOT SO READY FOR PRIME TIME" 9900 device.
I am about ready to throw this phone away and I have only had it for 6 months. I have to do a battery pull at least twice a day because it just stops working.
I have a small problem with my bold 9780, it is very slow with showing pictures. When I start the picture viewer it takes for ever to show the thumbnails. I have about 2000 pictures on it and some music. I am using a 8gb sandisk micro SD card. Don't know the class. At the beginning it was not that slow. And I had most of the pictures on my old bb already.
I have just loaded the new 6 OS and immediately see a huge increase in my battery life - with hardly any usage I'm almost drained after 10hours. As well, often when I got to use it (eg. unlock, exit BBM to go to email) the little clock comes up and makes me wait.
With my first BB 9900 I would download music etc from the internet using 3G and it would literally take seconds. Now, with my second BB 9900, I have full 3G signal but the download is super slow and never finishes downloading, it just says error. I've cleared my cache history and rebooted tons of times.
Since the big crash last week, although my email, messaging etc has been restored, my Internet browser is incredibly slow. It loads evcentually, but it is very time consuming and inefficient. Messaging is fine - general phone connectivity is ok as well. It isn't the network connection as I have been all over the place in the last few days and it has beenb the same wherever I am. It isn't my home internet as my PC and husband's phone (non BB) is browsing the Net without issue.I've cleared my history, cookies, cache, changed my browsing settings to untick images etc to try and speed things up but it is no better. Oddly the Facebook and Twitter Apps seem to be ok, but the actual browser facility seems to be defunct. I've done the soft reset, and even powered off and removed the battery over night.
I have a new BB bold. When my device shuts down, it takes ages to re-start the device. Literally speaking it takes around 7-8 minutes to have it started. Sometimes on/off button do not even react, I have to press multiple times and hold for a long time as well.
I just purchased a Class 2 16gb microSD card and my 9700 is running slow. Is the 16 too big or is it because of the Class 2? The decrease in performance is not worth the extra space compared to the 2GB that came with the phone.
