Is there any way of navigating the blackberry device without using the trackball. If not, what would you recommend me doing. I have backed up everything except my password keeper (which I don't think can be backed up).

For a short while, I could pair it with the Bluetooth kit in my car and I was able to receive call.However, the blue light on the top right corner of the phone just kept flashing and when I try to turn it off, it actually indicated the Bluetooth is off. May 24, 2012My blackberyy has been working all fine for a year and tehn suddenly it gave me multi color lines and a white screen when clicking on the red button when its locked.then it turns back to normal when i click on the lock button twice :/

Mar 8, 2010I was always the frustrated one, seeing leaked OS, but if I want to play with it, I had to sacrifice Chinese reading/writing ability. Well a bit of research got me into finally figuring out how to actually insert Chinese/Other Languages capability into any OS (especially leaked ones!). Mind you this is only for BB 9700. It's actually easier than I think =) Anyway, there are two ways to doing it. Installing it as a separate add-on (Simillar to BB Maps / Password Keeper type RIM app), or installing it with the OS. 100% sure the OS method works, .alx via app loader through DM seems to be a little buggy, still testing.

BB Software :: Bold 9700 V5.0.0.593 Read/Input Chinese Characters?
Dec 13, 2010I used to be able to read and input chinese character on my Bold 9700.Few days ago, I connected my device to the desktop manager and it prompted me to update my device os to V5.0.0.593 (Bundle 1022, Platform 5.1.0.147). Ever since then, I am unable to read or input chinese characters.
I've read through the forum, did whichever I can find, and crashed my blackberry a few times as I think I loaded some 3rd party modules. I managed to wipe out the whole device and reload EastAsia pack (which I did at least 3 times) but am still unable to have my chinese characters on.
