IPhone :: Restore From Encrypted Backup But ITunes Does Not Recognize Password?
May 30, 2012I was at a Genius Bar earlier today and they gave me a replacement iPhone 4. I had my laptop with me to transfer everything over and the guy working commented that I shouldn't use data encryption on the backup, so I said fine and he deactivated the option. I believe it was at this point that I was asked to enter the password, which I did. After a long time processing, there was an error message at the end. I wish I could remember what it said, but the guy said it should be fine. He wiped my phone I was returning, and then we set about to restore my new phone from the backup. Only problem is now iTunes doesn't recognize the password from my encrypted backup (this is the only one available). I don't know if something was corrupted during the attempt to deactivate encryption, or if this could be something else? I am positive I know the password—I entered it earlier in the process, and besides, it's the same as my passcode.
I was basically ushered out of the store because the guy said he didn't know what else to do. He just muttered some stuff about third party programs which Apple doesn't support which could retrieve data from a backup. I asked how those could possibly work on an encrypted backup and he didn't seem to have an answer.

IPhone :: Exchange Password Incorrect Gmail?
Mar 13, 2012My exchange for gmail was working fine. Email, contacts and calendar. Then I was asked for the password because a pop up said it was incorrect. No matter how many times I enter the correct password, it stills says incorrect. I have tried the following
1. Delete and reinstall all email accounts several times. When I re-create the gmail exchange everything verifies and a minute later, I gt the pop up.
2. Delete iCloud account
3. Change password and try again
4. Add gmail account under gmail and that works fine but I'm still not getting my contacts.
5. Unlock captcha. When I follow the link I get a screen saying my identity needs to be verified and them I click okay and the screen says I have 10 minutes to use password on device. I never get he option to enter the scrambled code on my PC or phone Tried google double verification. None of these have worked despite multiple attempts. I have recently switched to google chrome and am using it under my PC laptop and iMac.

Apr 10, 2012Had to replace the SIM card on my Curve 9360 today and now it won't recognize my BlackBerry ID or password. It just says "please wait" and then does nothing for literally hours. I can log in to the BlackBerry website fine so I know my login and password are correct. My cell phone provider says it is a BlackBerry issue. The log in screen gives you 10 tries to log in before it wipes your phone and I'm on try #8.

After i tried to unlock the device inserting the right password but it dosen't recognize it. Now i'm so worried about lost all my data, casue i haven't done recently a backup. Jan 9, 2012I recently had water damage to my BB Curve 9300 phone, stupidly I had not relaised but transfered all my contacts from SIM to phone Of course all this info got wiped when the phone was repaired. But i had registred with Blackberry ID and got a few apps one of which was BB Protect, backing up all my contacts etc. However now when I go to enter my email and password for BB ID it does not recognise me, I have tried 'forgot password' and the same happens, it does not recognise my email or any other emails I use. I have spoken to O2 and they say they can see I registered with BB and state if I had apps must have registered an email address. I am going mad because they must have an address and password for me as they allowed me to get other free apps, therefore my info must be on their system. I don't want to re-register as BB Protect will not recognise the new name or will it? Does it take other info when you register, like the PIN or IMEI?
