View 1 RepliesI was wondering if you could help on on this. I had a password lock on my blackberry bold. Since I entered it wrong 3 times, it wiped my software off and all I have is a white screen that says "Reload Software 513" How can I reload my softward back to my blackberry so I can use my phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8530. Several months ago, during daily use, the screen would all of a sudden go black. A battery pull would solve this problem for a while. Eventually this became more frequent. Symptoms progressed (it seemed that if I set the phone down too quickly it would reset) Finally, the phone would turn on, then go immediately to a white screen where it was undetectable by my computer. I contacted my service provider and they said the phone was toast and (amazingly enough) gave me a free loaner to use for the duration of my contract (all info transfered via an old backup, so nothing was lost) After my new phone was working I left my Curve plugged in at my office. Yesterday as I was leaving I looked at the phone again, and the screen was white and telling me to reload software 507.
I plugged it into my computer to begin the process and to my surprise the computer all of a sudden detected the phone and successfully upgraded the software. All looked great, I got past the password stage, and was just going to begin reloading my information when the screen faded to blank again. I still have the free loaner phone, so it's not a big deal, but it's bugging me as to what the problem could be. As of right now the computer can no longer detect the phone again
I have had my blackberry for 4 months and love it.I had an upgrade for App world which after stopped working.I found no way of deleting it or going back a version so i decided to try the desktop manager to see if i could do something through that.I had another upgrade waiting for the actual device so went a head with it and now wish i hadnt. The phone gets to a certain point on the upgrade (net-rim-cldc.cod) then stops doing anything .It has been at this point for nearly 3 hours now. Phone now shows a white screen with message *reload software 907* but how as the thing is doing nothing!.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am a relatively new crackberry user. My phone was working fine when I went to bed. I woke up to a white screen with text that said "JVM Error 517" and the word Reset underneath it. I have tried battery pulls but get the same message. When I plug into desktop mgr, It recognizes the phone but can never connect. I have only had it for about 65 days.
View 4 Replies View Relatedand it won't go away. the phone still works, as I am able to receive and send calls. I can press buttons and see changes on the screen, but all i get are vertical lines. Sometimes when I hit the phone a few times and press the lock button, it would go back to normal, but then it will return. Is the LCD display broken? I've opened the BB to see if it was loose, it is not. I've taken battery out and re-inserted to no avail.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI was recently received a brand new Bold 9700 from an aunt in Canada and I had only been using it in the UK for 3 weeks when the screen suddenly went completely white.I can still receive calls, and I can hear bbms and emails arriving but I can't see anything at all. I've have tried the battery pull many times but it still remains the same. I've been told that RIM usually offers a year's warranty on new products but because it was bought in Canada, none of the networks here in the UK are willing to take it in for repair.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my blackberry a week ago and dropped it for the first time and now it has white lines on it.It's the bold 9700, i can slightly see the screen but there are a lot of white lines which makes it hard to see anything. I can really only see the top of the screen where the volume options are but it appears to be black and white.
It is still working fine the screen is just hard to see. I think it might be a connection problem?Any advice? and do you think RIM will replace it if I send it in? I'm on Rogers and live in Canada
My brand new phone goes into a white screen and locks up.T-Mobile said to reload the OS .330. Is that the fix?I did a back up and can reload the OS.When I go to restore my data, (after three times) about half way through, the BB loses connection to laptop.I get error "could not establish connection to device". BB reboots, and I still have no data.
Also, through all this, I was getting JVM Error 529.I kept pulling out the battery.
Question: Why the white screen of death? Why is my back up not restoring? Should I start over again? Is there a way to do a clean install and not install over the existing OS?
My Bold 9700 give APP ERROR 523 together with a WHITE SCREEN OF DEATH. don't know what to do, terribly frustrated (navigating this site did not help either) and about to smash this thing to the floor and get something else.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a bell blackberry bold 9700 unlocked. My provider is with rogers and I have purchased this phone about 5 months ago. About 2 - 3 times a day my bb 9700 screen will blank out and go completely white. I would have to do a battery pull and then my bb will restart and everything will be fine. I have wiped my phone, downgrade the software and upgrade it again. Still nothing is resolved with it blanking out 2 - 3 times a day.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy phone got some water on it and was working fine until it just randomly shut off and refuses to turn on now. I got it to start up to a grey/white screen and a battery with a charging symbol in the middle. If I can get back to the screen is there anything I can do for my phone?
View 5 Replies View Relatedi've had this happen to my 8900, and thought there was something wrong with the phone, but after doing a official update from t-mobile on mt 9700 the same thing happens. whe doing a battery pull and the phone reboots. only on the main screen (the screen with all the apps and folders) the screen is completely blank or white and the only way i can see the folders or apps is by highlighting them. only happened after i updated it and only happens when doing a battery pull, once i reset the wall paper it will be fine until i do another battery pull. i already uninstalled and reinstalled my blackberry desktop and try to reload and that didn't fix it. anyone had this issue or know how to fix it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedCan anyone tell me how to do this? How to wipe and Reload OS?
View 4 Replies View RelatedPlease any help right now would be fantastic. So initially I had the JVM error 102 which I cleared by using JL_comand and wiping the hand held which has now left me with the 507 error.
I have desktop manager and I just downloaded the newest operating software from the carrier I am using (However the phone is unlocked) . I did delete the vendor file from the application folder like it says to do on most posts...
My issue is right here.. after plugging in the device (which is not recognized) ...I proceed to the application loader. It tells me that "No software is available for your device" I am currently using desktop manager v5.0.1.
Got my first Blackberry, a 9700, last week, and installed the desktop software yesterday. It suggested I did an update, so I did. Everything appeared to go well, no problems, and the phone rebooted OK, and appeared to be functioning OK, and I've received emails and text messages, and made and received calls OK since then.....until this afternoon. Was sitting there, the phone in it's pouch, and I noticed the red light flashing. I thought I had received an email or something that I had missed, so, take the phone out of the pouch, and notice it's rebooting. And, yes, you guessed, it the message 'Reload Software 507' sitting prettily in the middle of the screen against a white background.
Any ideas as to what to do from here on? I guess I'm going to try and reload software, as suggested, from the desktop program. Any hints or tips would be appreciated at this point in time. I have tried pulling the battery, and waiting 30 seconds, but makes no difference.
Don't know what happened but my internet and BBM stopped working so I decided to do a soft reset (alt+Rshift+del). Upon loading, I get JVM Error 102, and will no longer boot into the OS. From reading some stuff here, it seems I now have to do a complete wipe to restore the BB.My questions is this, I haven't added any new software in a long time, why would this error just pop up out of no where? Should I get a replacement phone from T-Mobile or just try to reload the OS again?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm no beginner when it comes to updating BB O.S but I got stunned here a bit. Using BBSAK I wiped the device and then tried to Load OS > it failed to communicated with my device as it was stuck on that screen and green bar not moving anywhere. So I cancelled and tried loading the OS again this time it gave me a error connecting to "boot ROM" so I unplugged BB and restarted the computer, now the Windows 7 is not recognizing USB or not detecting it. i tried common files > rim > loader.exe but it won't recognize PIN, there is no OS on BB
