I have a blackberry curve 8250 with Virgin Mobile. I updated one of my apps and rebooted when it came back on it was a white screen that says "reload software 552" I've tried doing what it say on the internet but my laptop cant detect my phone so I can't do anything.
View 2 RepliesI have a Blackberry Curve 8530. Several months ago, during daily use, the screen would all of a sudden go black. A battery pull would solve this problem for a while. Eventually this became more frequent. Symptoms progressed (it seemed that if I set the phone down too quickly it would reset) Finally, the phone would turn on, then go immediately to a white screen where it was undetectable by my computer. I contacted my service provider and they said the phone was toast and (amazingly enough) gave me a free loaner to use for the duration of my contract (all info transfered via an old backup, so nothing was lost) After my new phone was working I left my Curve plugged in at my office. Yesterday as I was leaving I looked at the phone again, and the screen was white and telling me to reload software 507.
I plugged it into my computer to begin the process and to my surprise the computer all of a sudden detected the phone and successfully upgraded the software. All looked great, I got past the password stage, and was just going to begin reloading my information when the screen faded to blank again. I still have the free loaner phone, so it's not a big deal, but it's bugging me as to what the problem could be. As of right now the computer can no longer detect the phone again
my blackberry 8900 rebooted but now it says "Reload Software:552" and no matter what buttons I press it just won't work?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my blackberry for 4 months and love it.I had an upgrade for App world which after stopped working.I found no way of deleting it or going back a version so i decided to try the desktop manager to see if i could do something through that.I had another upgrade waiting for the actual device so went a head with it and now wish i hadnt.The phone gets to a certain point on the upgrade (net-rim-cldc.cod) then stops doing anything .It has been at this point for nearly 3 hours now. Phone now shows a white screen with message *reload software 907* but how as the thing is doing nothing!.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry bold 9000, recently ive been having some problems with it, i did a routine battery pull while the phone was frozen, when it rebooted the arm on the loading screen went around twice then the phone rebooted again, it repeatedly does this until the phone dies, if i hook it up to the charger....same outcome, i am a poet and have months of work stored in the memos, and have about 90 numbers that werent saved on the simcard, i took the simcard out and the memory card, i have done pretty much everything i wus ever told to do as far as fixing it, i plan on buying an bold 9700 but i still must retrieve my contacts and memos can anyone give me any tips as far as fixing it, or atleast tell me how to get my memos and contacts off, thanks for your time and consideration.

It did reset but it won't unlock, the screen goes black and it wont light up very often, when it does it won't bring up the password screen. After i put it into charge - then only a successful start is done. So the only solution as of now i have - is whenever my blackberry hangs - i need to remove the battery - insert it again - and immediately put it into charging via USB/Electric-Power. Even if i re-insert the battery - the white screen comes - unless and until i put it into charging Earlier i was guessing - my battery was weak.

SMS, MMS, BBM all work perfectly fine but I am unable to make outgoing calls without it disconnecting, and I must pick up before the second ring if there is an incoming call. If I reregister my phone, I am usually able to make one successful call before it stops working again. I have reloaded the software, and taken out the battery and SIM card. Nothing seems to work.

I put the phone in Vibrate mode when I was asleep, and when I put it back into normal mode this morning, nothing happens when a text/PIN/phone call comes through. I just get the red flashing light. I took my SD card out as i have soo many photo's, video's and song's on there and didnt want to lose it. But ever since my phone has come back ferom repair, it picks up that i have inserted the SD but once it has read it nothing is saved on there anymore?I have tried formatting it, setting up the SD card onto the phone, more a less everything. View 4 Replies View Relatedmy dog got hold of my 8530 and put a toothmark in the screen cover. The screen was also damaged meaning I could see white and grey stripes. I bought a new screen and replaced the old one. Now when I turn it on, I get the white screen and i cannot dial out or recieve calls. Basically the phone is dead. I was able to connect to my desktop and install the latest OS version. I put the old screen back in and I still cannot recieve or dial. I must have done something while taking it apart or putting back together? It is a very simple procedure so I would think it difficult to screw it up. Before I took it apart, i could get phone calls and dial out but i couldnt see the outgoing or incoming call screen. I took the battery out before I took it apart. Now when I connect to my desktop, the connection comes and goes as if you were plugging and plugping in the device.
