BB Curve :: 8250 Suddenly Dim Out With Just Red Led Light On It?
Mar 5, 2012
My Curve 8250 suddenly dim out with just red led light on it. Then I pulled out the battery to restart it. As I put back the battery it is just normal yet the OS wont load. The loading bar just stop bellow the "e" in the Berry. What will I do? Its not the hardware must be the software Instead.
I woke up this morning and my bb curve 8250 was frozen, so i did a reset by taking the battery out. It did reset but it won't unlock, the screen goes black and it wont light up very often, when it does it won't bring up the password screen. It is still recieveing updares as its still flashing and showing up when i recieve emails, it just won't unlock
My curve started disconnecting calls yesterday. SMS, MMS, BBM all work perfectly fine but I am unable to make outgoing calls without it disconnecting, and I must pick up before the second ring if there is an incoming call. If I reregister my phone, I am usually able to make one successful call before it stops working again. I have reloaded the software, and taken out the battery and SIM card. Nothing seems to work.
I just got my Curve 8250 yesterday, and I spent last night setting up my ringtones. I put the phone in Vibrate mode when I was asleep, and when I put it back into normal mode this morning, nothing happens when a text/PIN/phone call comes through. I just get the red flashing light. I've done a 30-second battery pull and made sure that the profiles were as I'd made them yesterday.
I received a call then I clicked the volume button to silence the phone, then after a while I noticed that the phone is totally hanged, so I tried to do a hard reset by removing the battery and putting it back again, but while booting the progress bar goes up to about 70% and then it stops and the phone never starts..
I recently sent my phone into repair (Blackberry Curve 8250) as it was completely ruined. I took my SD card out as i have soo many photo's, video's and song's on there and didnt want to lose it. But ever since my phone has come back ferom repair, it picks up that i have inserted the SD but once it has read it nothing is saved on there anymore?I have tried formatting it, setting up the SD card onto the phone, more a less everything. But the funny thing is when i put the SD card in to my brothers Blackberry, everything is on the card!
I have just had my faulty Blackberry Curbe 8250 replaced. The original mobile successfully connected to wi-fi in my house and the internet elsewhere through vodafone but since I've received this replacement I'm unable to turn the wi-fi on on the mobile.I've tried deleting everything on the handset service book (except the 2 instructed not to delete) and then left mobile switched on, took battery out, waited few minutes, battery back in, mobile loaded the data again, tried setting up wi-fi again but still won't turn wi-fi on.
i have a Blackberry Curver 8250, since the server went down i cant get any signal. It keep saying SOS. i have tried a range of things to try and get signla but it just says SOS
My battery went lat this morning and when I got it on charge, it froze about two thirds of the way through the restart. It's been sitting there for 4 hours now, despite trying to remove the battery and start again several times.
I have a BlackBerry 8520 which I try to use with the Toyota Touch & Go-system. My problem is: Every time I take the key , and the connection is terminated, the connection will not be established again automatically when I start the car. It has to be done manually. This should not to be necessary. According to Toyota The BlackBerry 8520 Cuve should work with Touch & and Go I tried to connect to the system with other phones, and it worked without any problems. I would hate to loose my BlackBerry because of this, and maybe it's just a small problem..
BlackBerry Curve 8250 freezes during a hard restart. Progression bar on black screen stops 2/3 of the way. I've tried removing battery again and same thing happens.I work with this device and absolutely need it to be functioning again
I have had my curve 8250 for about a month and I can't get signal at my home or anywhere else. I used to get connection pretty much everywhere but I cant get any. I tried a battery pull still did not work.
My son has a BB curve 8900 and has the BB Desktop S/W installed on his laptop, I wanted to get some of his music onto my 8250 and hooked my phone up to the S/W , the only change I made was choosing ITunes instead of media player, I transferred some songs over perfectly but when disconnected from the laptop my trackpad does not respond.....I have tried a soft reset, taking the battery out while the phone is still on, leaving the battery and sim out for 5 mins, what else can I do??
Can you only use one model of BB on the S/W on the same laptop? Am I going to have to reinstall??
It completely shut down. i tried turning it on but the indicator red light just comes on and sits like that. blank screen. Ive tried charging it (9 hours)/Taking the batter out and NOTHING worked. Im only 12.
I'm new to BlackBerry and have my curve 8520 recently.I created a Gmail account but it doesn't download the old emails from my inbox, just push the new emails coming in.I searched and being told by my service provider that blackberry doesn't retrieve old emails, is there any other way beside this to get emails push to my bb?
After updating a few IM applications and doing a battery pull on my Curve 8250 I've been having problems with my address book.I backed up my phone, updated some IM apps did a battery pull then realized my address book contacts were missing. tried to restore, but I only got one name entered multiple times. I re-entered all of my contacts backed that up, re-booted just to see if they would go missing again and they did. I then tried to restore contacts only. But the only option I got was Address book - Last Hint Used. I did not see Address Book
I have a blackberry curve 8250 with Virgin Mobile. I updated one of my apps and rebooted when it came back on it was a white screen that says "reload software 552" I've tried doing what it say on the internet but my laptop cant detect my phone so I can't do anything.
I have a bberry 8250 and it has been working fine in morocco where i study and at home in anu for the duration. i have been in the caribbean for one week and now my phone is stuck on the loading screen and is not being registered by diagnostic software my pc and any other programs. trying to wipe it completly and to no avail.
Since around 2 weeks I have a Torch 9860. Yesterday evening, when I was not using the device the Torch suddenly stopped functioning. When I turned it on again it said it was setting up but it didn't do anything. So after a few minutes I turned it off and on again but now it didn't react at all (so screen stays black, no button lightens up etc.). I can't get it turned on again, not even when I removed the battery for a few minutes. I also tried to charge it again as I wanted to be sure the battery was charged but this doesn't work either.
1 week ago i walked in the water with my mobile.. Nothing worked anymore. I took my mobile to a telefone store and they have repaired my mobile. Only i've got a steady blue led light and no keyboard light only when i start my blackberry on, the keyboard gives light. If i get other notifications the blue led light still gives light and the red light is blinking that i have something.
I am on a curve 8310 I think it is with an annoying flashing blue light. I think it's a cross between a white and blue as it's a pale blue light. I have turned off every notification I can find, email, text, facebook etc. I have deselected the LED option ( changed to none) I cannot figure how WHY this light keeps blinking. I've taken the battery out, i'm at my wits end.
My phone was working fine last night but this morning I am unable to shut it down. The only way to shut down the phone at the moment is to take the battery out. I can start up my phone by replacing the battery but when I try to unlock it it won't work.
At start up it verifies the software then gives me options to Unlock, Emergency, or Cancel but it i cannot select any of these and I cannot scroll through any of the options. The phone eventually goes into standby ( black screen ) which I am unable to get it out of.
I can hear my messages coming through and and the screen lights up when calls come through but I can't answer the call as the keyboard won't work. The green light also stays on despite the phone not being fully charged.
My N8 suddenly hung up and suddenly deleted all of my homescreens. It would have been okay for me to set all three screens back to their original configuration but unfortunately, I can't edit the main homescreen. I can edit the two additional screens but NOT the main (1st) homescreen. It just says homescreen is full! Last thing I installed was the Xmas theme Rugge from the Nokia store.
