BB Curve :: 8250 Address Book Won't Back Up Fully?
Jul 9, 2012After updating a few IM applications and doing a battery pull on my Curve 8250 I've been having problems with my address book.I backed up my phone, updated some IM apps did a battery pull then realized my address book contacts were missing. tried to restore, but I only got one name entered multiple times. I re-entered all of my contacts backed that up, re-booted just to see if they would go missing again and they did. I then tried to restore contacts only. But the only option I got was Address book - Last Hint Used. I did not see Address Book

Jul 12, 2010I am getting a replacement 8530 for my current 8530 because my trackpad is off centered and recently I am now able to move it around. I called verizon explained everything and their answer "software problem, we're sending you a new one under your warranty" Whatever, its physical not software, but they are sending me out a replacement anyways so I dont care.
However, how do I put stuff on the new one? I use blackberry desktop manager, and click "Backup" and it backs up. When I connect the new one do I just click "Restore"? Also when I back up, the tab for contacts is grayed out and I CANNOT click it. So I wont be able to restore that, why?

Aug 5, 2012I have a bberry 8250 and it has been working fine in morocco where i study and at home in anu for the duration. i have been in the caribbean for one week and now my phone is stuck on the loading screen and is not being registered by diagnostic software my pc and any other programs. trying to wipe it completly and to no avail.

Oct 1, 2015How to retrieve my lost photos and videos of my trip and all of my baby's memory from my HTC M9 Phone. I had over 1500-2000 pictures including videos on my phones gallery and yesterday when my phone keep saying I have low memory I decided to download it onto my computer but realized that my computer did not recognized the phone because I had already set up my old phone with the same computer.
Usually on iPhone I can use one computer for all my apple products apparently not for androids so it seem as if I needed a new computer for different phones. I ended up taking out my phone to begin to email them to myself so I can delete them to create more space for more picture or videos that was when I realized my phone gallery was empty. I taught it wasn't bordering me but I realized I couldn't function those pictures means the world to me more than the phone.

Everything went well except my contacts and apps are not on my new 4gs? Mail settings, old text messages pictures etc all there? Where can I find them? The second problem I had is I downloaded the latest software on my I phone 4 it has lost all my contacts after finishing the download? Where have they gone?

Jun 16, 2010My iPhone 3G developed a crack in the plastic casing on the backside right at the bottom (by the connector at the bottom). I've heard that this is a design fault and happens to a lot of iPhones, and that (if it's within warranty!) going into an Apple store and complaining will get you a brand new one to walk out with.
The problem I have is that the good is no longer under warranty, but I've only had it for a little longer than a year and the fault developed well before that. I'm asking more for UK members here who know what recourse I have here - is it worth mentioning to the staff there that the Sales of Goods Act says that a mobile telephone should last much longer than the one year warranty, and as such they're obliged to replace it? Will they even have 3G's in stock as they no longer sell this model?

The back of the phones glass is shattered but luckily no pieces fell off. Does anyone know of a legit back replacement I can use? I want to get a whole new backing for it with the pentalobe screw driver. I just don't know if I am getting scammed since there are so many fakes that distribute them. I was also wondering if there is a very cheap alternative to just buying a thin plastic case and placing it over the broken glass. The case would have to go over the back only since I hate extra bulk.

Apr 10, 2012so in the beginning of march, my little brother (he's 2) was sick and cranky. i watched a couple of videos on Internet with him, but i had to remove my iphone 4 case (speck) because it kept on interferring with my internet connection (not the first time either!!!). that was probably a bad idea, because when i had tried to take the phone from him when someone was calling, he threw it on the floor. it landed on the back, and now the back glass is shattered. the phone works fine, and my stupid case covers the crack, but i really want to know the cost of getting it replaced in canada. i hear its only 29$, but i want to make sure.

SMS, MMS, BBM all work perfectly fine but I am unable to make outgoing calls without it disconnecting, and I must pick up before the second ring if there is an incoming call. If I reregister my phone, I am usually able to make one successful call before it stops working again. I have reloaded the software, and taken out the battery and SIM card. Nothing seems to work.
