It is important to notice that I didn't removed such icons, because IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. When you remove/insert icons on this panel, they auto arrange in this screen. So it is not possible to leave the screen with these "holes".
This happens when I switch users in the phone. The guest user does not have the same icons than the proprietary, so when I switch back, my icons are not restored. To workaround I have to edit this menu and move any icon, or restart the phone.

Dec 13, 2011I got my blackberry torch a while ago and about a month later the front panel (calling buttons and back buttons) fell off. i was just using the buttons and they come loose a few days later they fell off. i could not at this time send the phone off to be repaired but i am now trying to and they are saying it will cost me a lot of money although my phone is under warranty?

Mar 30, 2012For some reason ( I don't know what happened to it) my torch 9800 the scroll panel isn't working. The mouse still scrolls but it won't click on anything. Also the call, hang up, menu button and the back buttons aren't working either. The lights for them are burnt out as well. But there is no water damage I am aware of. (my warentee is out too). The touch screen still works too.

Every time the internet failed, my BBM download would fail, and I restarted it. Unfortunately, it seems that all the downloading I did took up all my memory (even though I never completed loaded the application) and now I have no space on my blackberry to try to download the whole version of BBM! Does anyone know how I can delete these 'failed' downloads and get back several MBs of memory?

Feb 22, 2011the panel of buttons on the front (with the answer key etc on) has fallen off?I took it back to my provider but they say they can't fix it under warranty as they said it's 'physical damage' It just fell off!! The sticky pad holding it onto the phone just isn't that sticky.Under the blackberry warranty terms it states "...that the BlackBerry Hardware will be free from defects in workmanship and materials" sureley this is covered as it's a defect in the materials?

Feb 25, 2012I'm having an issue with my new Torch 9810 where the 4 front control keys remain illuminated after the touch screen dims out (phone answer key, blackberry key, return key, end call key). The only way to fix it temporarily is doing a battery pull but after about an hour it happens again. Really drains the battery down fast. Sep 25, 2011I have had my BlackBerry Torch for about four months now. For the first two weeks I couldn't download a single thing, yet on my curve 8520 the downloads would never fail! One day out of the blue my torch started working, I was downloading at inbetween 100 and 200 mbps... And no download was failing! No matter what the size! I think my biggest to date was close on 1 gig! I was told by my carrier that I had to do an OS update to solve another minor issue I had, which I did! After that update, no matter what I try download it fails!So, my question is... What exactly do they take off or put on the phone in order for it to all of a sudden do this?

I think they went missing when I removed a theme. The theme went away but didn't put these back how they originally were. I had to get rid of the theme as it changed all the icons & being new to the phone, am still learning what the icons mean so when the theme changed them, it added to my confusion?
