BB Torch :: Front Panel Bottom Button Lights Staying On

I'm having an issue with my new Torch 9810 where the 4 front control keys remain illuminated after the touch screen dims out (phone answer key, blackberry key, return key, end call key). The only way to fix it temporarily is doing a battery pull but after about an hour it happens again. Really drains the battery down fast. I've gone as far as deleting all the installed apps, checked for updates etc but still ongoing. Phone is only 2 months old. Please help. ThxTorch 9810O.S 7.0 bundle 1328 (v7.0.0.254)Rogers wireless

I have a real problem at sliding when I slide down the buttons are enlighted(the control ones : up, down, left, right, answer, hang up and the other two ) , BUT when i slide up they are not anymore I also tried to see in the dark how do i manage to use the cellphone and it does't work quite well I hope you can find something that will help me I also have to tell that I updated the cellphone once to the final update and I also master reseted it.
I added two pictures that I think would help you understand the problem. I hope you will find a solution that will work for this. I surely don't want to wait 2 weeks before it comes out from the service for it because this minor problem.

I have a 9810, and the Call and BB menu button backlights are always on. I've tried numerous battery pulls, reinstalled the OS, repaired the OS, changed my backlight settings. Security wipe and re install. I don't know what caused it. Nothing had been installed on the phone for the past couple months, and it only started 3 days ago. Screen Lock does nothing.

I got my blackberry torch a while ago and about a month later the front panel (calling buttons and back buttons) fell off. i was just using the buttons and they come loose a few days later they fell off. i could not at this time send the phone off to be repaired but i am now trying to and they are saying it will cost me a lot of money although my phone is under warranty?

the panel of buttons on the front (with the answer key etc on) has fallen off?I took it back to my provider but they say they can't fix it under warranty as they said it's 'physical damage' It just fell off!! The sticky pad holding it onto the phone just isn't that sticky.Under the blackberry warranty terms it states "...that the BlackBerry Hardware will be free from defects in workmanship and materials" sureley this is covered as it's a defect in the materials?

I have been using iPhone 4, 5 and now 6. iPhone 6 has been making an unusual clicking noise when i touch / press bottom panel. It is normal to press bottom panel while clicking home button. I have shown it to Apple Genius Bar in Dublin CA and they could see and hear the bottom panel clicking.Â
It is difficult to hear the clicking noise in the store due to surrounding noise. i have uploaded a video to make it simpler for Apple to investigate. URL...I am running out of options with Apple Genius technicians. I can reproduce the problem after removing the case too.

I have an iPhone 4. My bottom speaker and front camera do not work. I've taken it to an at&t store and they attempted to repair it, but were unsuccessful. I was wondering if apple had a solution or if I could trade in my phone for a new one.

I just updated my galaxy s6 via OTA software update this early afternoon. I just realised that my mobile data icon/button in the notification panel suddenly disappeared after updating to the new software update.

How to increase the brightness of the back button lights of Xperia Neo ?I hav unlocked the boot loader and then after trying so many custom roms , flashed the official sony rom ICS 4.0.4 , build no : 4.1.B.0.587 !!!the lights were bright wen I used CM9 and want the same brightness for this one too?

I got a Lumia 1020 a few days ago, and have noticed the lights of the 3 buttons at the button aren't working. I can't remember having seen them glow. Even last night, the didn't seen to be working in the dark.
I am currently using DP, could that be the reason?

I've had my Bionic about a week. The 4 soft buttons along the bottom of the screen (is there a common term for these?) are not always lit up. They all light up or they all don't, it's not just one of them. They're lit when I wake up the display, they'll go off after a while, sometimes just stay off briefly, other times stay off for a while. Is there any protocol for when the lights should be on or off? Is this a defect I should be concerned about?

I had this problem previously and was waiting for Lollipop thinking it will get solved, but it looks like I might have a faulty proximity sensor. When I'm in a call, sometimes I hear the sound of pressing a button, and when I take the phone away from my ear to check what happened, I keep finding the Notification Panel open with different options activated / deactivated. Sometimes I find it directly in Settings, in Battery Usage, in Date/Time, I think it depends on which option is pressed in the Notification Panel.

I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, but I believe that these instructions should work on the S6 as well. On the Note 4, there was an option to adjust the Capacitive buttons lights - always on, always off, 1.5, and 6 seconds. On the S6, this option was removed from some variants (I believe that the AT&T version still has this option). If your phone doesn't have this option, then you can change the capacitive button light settings through ADB.
1. If you haven't done so, you will need to set up SDK on the PC/Mac first: Installing the Android SDK for Windows, Mac and Linux: A tutorial | Android Central
2. Enable Developer options by going into settings-about phone,and press on the Build Number 7 times.
3. Plug in the phone into the computer. Wait until the phone is recognized in the File Explorer (in Windows 8 on the Metro Screen, type "File Explorer", and select it). It should say Samsung-SM-G925V (or similar) in File Exporer
3. Go to Settings-Developer options, and enable USB debugging. A pop up menu will prompt you if you want the computer access, so select "Yes".
4. Go to the Command Prompt(in Windows 8 on the metro screen, tpye "command prompt", and select it) and type "ADB devices". You should see a device connected.
5. On the Command Line, Type "adb shell settings put system button_key_light 0" to disable capacitive lights.
The options are:
"adb shell settings put system button_key_light 0" -> always disable the capacitive button lights
"adb shell settings put system button_key_light -1" -> always enable the capacitive button lights
"adb shell settings put system button_key_light 1500" -> always disable the capacitive button lights after 1.5 seconds
"adb shell settings put system button_key_light 6000" -> always disable the capacitive button lights after 6.0 seconds
"adb shell settings get system button_key_light" -> get the current setting (standard: 1500, ie. 1.5 seconds)

For some reason ( I don't know what happened to it) my torch 9800 the scroll panel isn't working. The mouse still scrolls but it won't click on anything. Also the call, hang up, menu button and the back buttons aren't working either. The lights for them are burnt out as well. But there is no water damage I am aware of. (my warentee is out too). The touch screen still works too.

When I charged last time my communicator and re-used it I discovered malfunctions at the front buttons. E.g. it is not possible to release the keyboard lock of when pressing the green button (for starting a call) and see the last calls on screen it switch to the function which is assigned to the upper button. Also when choosing an operation the phone wrongly moves to voice recording!

my out of warranty iPhone 4 power button stopped functioning all of a sudden and it also no longer made that "click" when pressed. What did I do?I decided to open up the phone and tried to do this, (at 4:30 is what I did)[URL]It basically shows a guy who bonded a very very small washer to the bottom of the power button. I tried this and it didn't work, probably because my washer was a was too big, i filed it down a bit, still didn't work, so I just put it back together, i noticed a few things:After Reassembly, this happened: power button still does not work, and doesn't "click"iPhone camera app shutter does not open and the bottom right "camera/video" icons just flicker, I've concluded this is because of the front camera not working.the ear speaker for phone calls is now "crackly".I noticed my WiFi and network signal isn't as strong, maybe a bar less on WiFi and a bar or 2 less on network.
Temporary solutions:A walk around camera fix is that i installed "camera plus pro" and this allows me to take photos and video. If I switch to the front camera it freezes, again confirming the front camera is not working.What should I do next?So I obviously did something when i took my phone apart and put it back together. I did open it up again and confirmed that all the flex cables and connections were seated properly.I ordered these parts from eBay: Power ButtonPower Button Flex CableBack Camera Lens With Flex Ribbon Cable Feedback If anyone has any ideas, feedback, suffers from the same problem, please feel welcome to continue the discussion. Basically I'm having some issues with my HTC Sensation, and I was just wondering if it was a common problem or if it's completely unheard of. What's happening is that whenever I press the home button on the bottom of the handset, it will take a screen capture (even when I don't press the lock button). It's kinda tempremental, however it's doing it about 3 times a day...and the only way to stop it is by restarting the phone!I have done a factory reset on the phone and updated all its software but that hasen't seemed to in the slightest.

I have a ST15i with Android version 4.0.4 and the build 4.1.B.0.587, when i click the camera button in the main screen i am able to see the back camera view and there is not front /back camera toggle button. i did the factory reset almost 5 times, but no result, is there any patch to solve this issue, due to this i am not able to use Skype Video calls.

I have got a Blackberry Torch 9800 and the screen just wont work. It used to, but then it got worse and worse, and now the screen just wont work, the rest of the phone works but you cant see anything. When the screen did work if I slide up the screen then it would go all weird. When I press the unlock button, the lights come on like it works, but the screen wont?

I must have downloaded a free Blackberry app that's causing me to see ads on the bottom of the bbm chat screen. Sometimes it says "POPUP FOR BBM" or "STATUS SHUFFLER"...all apps that I've gotten messages from asking me to buy and i delete them.How do I get the ads to disappear - How do I figure out which app is making the ads appear?
