I must have downloaded a free Blackberry app that's causing me to see ads on the bottom of the bbm chat screen. Sometimes it says "POPUP FOR BBM" or "STATUS SHUFFLER"...all apps that I've gotten messages from asking me to buy and i delete them.How do I get the ads to disappear - How do I figure out which app is making the ads appear? And how can I opt out of these ads?

View 12 Replies View RelatedI have just recieved my new 9860 and have a recurring problem throughout the phone. The easiest example is when you use apps like facebook for the first time, you see a terms and conditions pop up. At the bottom of this popup is a small blue arrow to indicate there is more to read if you scroll down. I can't scroll down... the cursor just goes off screen.
This problem is persistant throughout the phone in the blackberry side menu, the home page and on web pages. Basically I cannot scroll anything that requires scrolling to view more. The cursor just dissappears off the screen.
I have tried removing the battery (whilst turned on) to no avail. I have tried adjusting fonts (another list that will not scroll) and Orange tech support were unable to help.
All of a sudden my home keys across the bottom of the 9800 do no light up. I checked the backlight settings for display but they had no effect on the home keys. Even in a completely dark room, when I take the 9800 out of the holster, the screen lights up but the home keys are out.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with my new Torch 9810 where the 4 front control keys remain illuminated after the touch screen dims out (phone answer key, blackberry key, return key, end call key). The only way to fix it temporarily is doing a battery pull but after about an hour it happens again. Really drains the battery down fast. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have had an iphone 3G since Dec-2008 - obviously out of warranty now.Today, the bottom 20% of the screen or so went dead - it won't respond to touches, taps, slides, etc. The rest of the screen responds fine, but this portion is completely out of it.This is particularly problematic b/c it is all of the bar where my 4 favorite icons sit (SMS, Email, Web and Ipod). I did some googling and found the apple Article TS1827, but it didn't say what could be the cause, how to fix it, etc.
1) Any ideas what could be wrong?
2) I have a genius appointment later today, but what are the chances Apple actually fixes or replaces it?
3) What is the best suggestion as to how to fix it if i need to - places to go, or DIYs? Located in NYC.
Whenever I am creating/respond to a bbm-I get a popup advertising window at the bottom of the BBM screen (eg. Status Shuffler)-problem is it is so close to the bbm text window that you hit it in error and then it pops up the web browser with information for the app.
I've tried going through all of the settings but can't figure out how to get rid of this ?
When playing my music I get a flashing bar at the bottom of the screen . It's shows up on every song. Does anyone have this problem ? (BB storm 2 ).

I do not have any unread messages, nor do I have any unplayed voicemail ... also, I have not set up an email account, so it is not unread email either.Does anyone have any ideas what it is and how I can get rid of it? Phone never was in the water or never was dropped. It is very visible in the screen diagnostic mode when the screen turns white.

Tried a different official firmware and kernel.This is a problem phone or a touchscreen? As far as I know the touchscreen controller is located on the loop and vary with the glass and the phone only to indulge in the data.
Below the screen, are the icons for MENU, HOME, BACK, and SEARCH. Sometimes these little buggers light up and sometimes they do not. I cannot figure out what controls their illumination and whether or not I can control their illumination.

Whenever I use the camera app or view snaps on snapchat the bottom of my 4S screen flickers and jumps.
When on the camera the top of the camera app which normally has flash settings, HDR mode and switch camera stays on the top and moves to the bottom and the screen flickers but it only happens on the rear facing camera when I change to Front Facing Camera it goes fine and then on snapchat when I view stories and snaps it does the same thing and on the camera.

I brought my iPhone 5s last month, i noticed that my phone have Gray/Black lines at the bottom of the screen, after using more and more the lines grow more and more. Now my Screen is half Covered with those lines.
I tried Resetting my Phone and Restarting it and it still doesn't fix it.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI got my new Bold 9900 about two weeks ago. I noticed today that there is thin black line that across my camera screen. This line is near the bottom of the camera screen and is in photos I take. This line will move downwards as I zoom in and disappears if I zoom in enough (and won't be in the pictures taken when zoomed in enough).
This line doesn't appear when I change to video camera. BTW my conveneice key which currently on the default option (camera) is EXTREMELY hard to activitate...I need to press REALLY hard!

I was curious, and I took a screenshot. The blue line wasn't visible. One or two days later the space between the line(It went from one side to the other side) and the bottom of the screen started to flicker, and sometimes completely went black. The black area was a third of my screen, and it is really hard to use with this black space on my screen. It eventually became always pitch-black, and now it rarely flickers.
