Oct 14, 2010recently the bottom buttons (ie. menu, back, etc) arent working as well as the side ones. I can only use the screen. Upon turning on the phone the buttons will work for a maximum 2 minutes and then I have to rely on the screen...
anyone else have this problem? I tried repairing and reinstalling everything but it didnt work... Ive also read that it could be from holding the camera button down but that is not the case

Neo L has physical buttons but if sony add that virtual buttons bar layout in neo L that has big screen it can save our neo L physical keys and we have greater experience with neo L. Its a very good phone with best brand(Sony). But virtual android buttons in screen is better than physical buttons that may fails. Now neo L has 4.1 build version software and sony can add this feature in future release of software update for neo L.

Feb 4, 2012Phone Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo (MT15i).Fell into the water, and a crack on the touchscreen.I cleaned it, replaced the screen (inside the fluid were smudges) and touch screen.With the touchscreen problem, not a response by pressing the lower part of about 1 cm. 2 pieces Changed suppliers say they are original and the marriage was not. Although cracked taskrine, this part worked perfectly.
Tried a different official firmware and kernel.This is a problem phone or a touchscreen? As far as I know the touchscreen controller is located on the loop and vary with the glass and the phone only to indulge in the data.
BB Torch :: Buttons Stop Working?
Oct 15, 2010I recently got the Torch two weeks ago from Rogers and generally I don't have any problems with. But I've found that sometimes after I receive a call from someone and I've ended the call (by sliding the phone down), all my buttons stop working.The Keyboard, lock button, call, end, etc. No button works. But however, the touch screen works. I usually end up using the touch screen to turn off my phone and pull out my battery and put it back in.From there it works again. Its happened four times now. Has this happened to anyone else?

Oct 6, 2012I have a T-Mobile galaxy S II. not rooted or anything fancy. About a month ago I noticed that the four bottom buttons Search, back, home and menu. I tried turning it off and back on, taking the battery out and all that. However randomly they turned back on. They worked for a few days then did it again. It has been doing it on and off all month. A few times I was able to get them to come back on by shutting it off and plugging it in and turning it back on. Now that's not working at all. Iv done a factory reset still not able to get them back on. Now I can see that when I turn off the phone it goes to the t-mobile good bye screen then the lights blink for a sec then shut off. I've tried to do the *#1234# thing and it says its running the ussd scan but then says the process can not be processed.

Jul 29, 2012A few days ago whilst texting the buttons on my blackberry torch just stopped working. I thought maybe it was water damage because a bottle of water leaked in my bag whilst my blackberry was there but that was earlier in the day and it was fine afterwards. Anyway, when the keyboard stopped working I took the battery out for a day and put it back in and it still isn't working. I put it in a bag of rice for 24 hours and it's the same. Whats weird is that when I put it in safe mode the keyboard will all work for about 5 mins then stop again. And everything else works but the buttons - the phone itself is fine and I still get emails but I can't open them because the back button and everything doesnt work.

Motorola Razr :: Bottom Navigation Buttons Burnt Out?
Jan 21, 2013I have to start by saying I absolutely love my Razr (xt910) but I seem to have run into a bit of a problem. Two of the four navigation buttons on the bottom of the phone, the Menu and Home buttons, stopped lighting up all of a sudden! The actual buttons themselves work fine, but as stated, do not light up, leaving only the right two lit, giving the razr a strange appearance to say the least. I have done a factory reset (twice) but both times it failed to make a difference, leading me to believe that whatever powers the lights for those buttons no longer works. Is this a common problem? Does anyone know how or if this is possible to fix? My Razr is still under warranty.

Feb 23, 2010I noticed recently that my end key will click 5 times when i press it down, its the only part of the screen that does it, but i do notice that the bottom buttons will double click everynow and then and it pisses me off. but the end key does it 5 times. I connected it to my laptop, the iphone appears on "my computer" and I was able to see pictures and videos that are on the phone, however iTunes cannot detect the devise.Â

Mar 6, 2011I have been around and around with customer service on this- the buttons on lower right hand corner of my phon (including the red button and return button) do not work. I have pulled the battery repeatedly, and wiped the phone, all of which make it work just fine for an hour or so before the problem returns. Customer service insists the problem is related to the data in my phone (?) which is ridiculous. They keep encouraging me to upgrade, but I've not had the phone for a year
