Motorola Droid Razr HD :: Navigation Buttons At The Bottom Disappearing?
Nov 27, 2012The three navigation buttons at the bottom of my phone have been starting to disappear. Once I had to restart the phone to have them return. The other two times it has happened the buttons return within a few seconds. I'm hoping this is software related. Will try to grab screen shot next time it happens.

Jan 21, 2013I have to start by saying I absolutely love my Razr (xt910) but I seem to have run into a bit of a problem. Two of the four navigation buttons on the bottom of the phone, the Menu and Home buttons, stopped lighting up all of a sudden! The actual buttons themselves work fine, but as stated, do not light up, leaving only the right two lit, giving the razr a strange appearance to say the least. I have done a factory reset (twice) but both times it failed to make a difference, leading me to believe that whatever powers the lights for those buttons no longer works. Is this a common problem? Does anyone know how or if this is possible to fix? My Razr is still under warranty.

Mar 14, 2015More recently, my droid turbo has been turning rainbow colors instead of black with the time when it's charging. If I press the lock button myself, the phone will lock and stay black with the time. If I unlock my phone and let it be, it'll turn to the rainbow colors. I have my phone on the turbo charger when this happens!

Aug 19, 2012Recently; within the past week, my Maxx is intermittently loosing sound from the external speaker. I've tried rebooting, reinstalling the OS, etc... so I took to the internet: [URL]. Pressing on the kevlar cover works for a brief time; but when I am missing calls or notifications, its a little late to be pressing on the back cover to make the speaker connection. I dropped my phone when I first got it (March '12) so the warranty center is going to claim physical damage and charge me full retail for the phone. I can't go for much longer with a phone that doesn't ring.

Oct 6, 2012I have a T-Mobile galaxy S II. not rooted or anything fancy. About a month ago I noticed that the four bottom buttons Search, back, home and menu. I tried turning it off and back on, taking the battery out and all that. However randomly they turned back on. They worked for a few days then did it again. It has been doing it on and off all month. A few times I was able to get them to come back on by shutting it off and plugging it in and turning it back on. Now that's not working at all. Iv done a factory reset still not able to get them back on. Now I can see that when I turn off the phone it goes to the t-mobile good bye screen then the lights blink for a sec then shut off. I've tried to do the *#1234# thing and it says its running the ussd scan but then says the process can not be processed.

Feb 23, 2010I noticed recently that my end key will click 5 times when i press it down, its the only part of the screen that does it, but i do notice that the bottom buttons will double click everynow and then and it pisses me off. but the end key does it 5 times. But most apps were missing from the home pages though and none would start. I finally realized that I was seeing a zoomed image of the home page scroller screens.I tried everything to get to the apps drawer but couldn't. May 23, 2012RAZR Maxx My problem is about the 4 bottom icons/buttons/keys (Menu, Home, Back, Search) not lighting properly. When in a fairly dark room they always stay lit. Last night before sundown the icons were not lit. It was too dark to see them without being lit. It also depended on the position. I do not know if this was due to internal position sensors or just getting different levels of light from the light sensors. I called Verizon Tech Support and they said this was normal. It may be "normal" but hard to use the phone if I cannot see the icons/buttons/keys.

The next time you go in there, additional words may be in the input box.To get rid of it, opening the browser and hitting back seems to work, sometimes.
