On my Razr Maxx I could select 'play playlist' as part of a smart action. My Razr Maxx HD doesn't have that option. It does have a 'play music' option but when selected it says no playlists found despite their existence on the sd card and in internal memory.

how to trigger a Smart Action using the "double-tap" feature of the Home button? I would like a Smart Action to trigger the Vehicle Mode on my phone. I know that there is a blue tooth trigger to do so, but I do not have any blue tooth devices.

Trigger: Detect my wifi, then: Disable Cellular Data, Turn on blue-tooth, dim brightness to 45%, lower ringer volume, But when I leave the house, I want it to Turn Off Wifi and enable Cellular Data. Is there a way the SA can detect that I am not connected to my home wifi and disable wifi and enable Cellular Data, or just enable one SA and disable the active one?
View 9 Replies View Relatedi have set up the pre formated sleep mode using the time trigger, however, each night it shuts off before the set time. i have the night trigger set from 11pm to 1159pm everyday, the morning trigger set from 12am to 7am everyday and the weekend trigger set from 701am to 9am saturday and sunday. sometime in the wee hours of the morning it shuts itself off in the middle of the morning time frame. ive checked my phone at 3 am and 5 am to find the smart action has shut off. i have to open and close smart actions to get it to come back on. ive deleted the action, cleared cashe and started over, deleted and started from scratch and used the pre formated sleep mode. i cant think of why it stops working.

The best examples of when this might come in handy:In the car, being able to turn media volume up to loud so you can stream music through your stereo and control it entirely through the car stereo. I find mysef always having to find my phone and turn media up on the phone first, so I don't accidentally blow a speaker when I get in the car without the phone connected.At work being able to turn the media volume to mute. This way I can sneak a round of Scramble or Words with Friends in without my cube neighbors hearing the tell tale sounds of the games.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIssue started a few days ago, around March 9th-10th 2012. Got this new Razr this past January and this "Select Dock Type" pops up either from the unlock screen (when selecting the camera) or when opening other apps (e.g. a geo-cache app, sms texting etc). Doesn't matter if you tell it to remember the setting. Another symptom, status bar indicates "HDMI cable connected" when in fact, I've never connected it to an hdmi cable.
When trying to use the camera, there is no display to allow you to see what you're shooting. This is with either front or rear facing modes or video. Interestingly, when I do select the camera from the unlock screen, it'll display but then the "Select Dock Type" popup appears. Closing it makes the display go away leaving me to guess what I'm going to snap and then looking at the thumbnail in the upper left corner to see what got snapped.Stopped at verizon store and agent said this is a known issue. I could either replace my brand new phone with a refurb or wait a few weeks for an update that'll hopefully correct this as it was acknowledged to affect a small number on phones built before December.Is there some other way to get rid of this annoying popup? Tried connecting it to hdmi dock at verizon store but no-go.

I just upgraded from the RAZR to the RAZR Maxx HD and I am loving it.I have, though, missed some features and options and was hoping I was overlooking them.First, I noticed that you can add new home panels but is there a way to select which panel you want as the main home screen?Also, I loved the fact that in my RAZR I could customize app categories in the app menu.Is there an option for this in the RAZR HD?I know there is a favorites panel but I loved having a news, shopping, and travel panel as well.

The My Gallery app on the Razr/Razr Maxx automatically chooses photographs to display on the opening screen of My Gallery. Some of these photos are of contact photos of people I don't want to look at all the time such as business associates. I would prefer to replace the photos of my choosing such as pictures of my family, friends , vacation etc.
Is there any way to re-select the photos that are displayed on the opening My Gallery screen?

I'm trying to set up the home menu and options for the music player, internet radio, etc.Also, when it attempts to "announce/read" a text message all it says is that the send is "null" and that the message is "test message' everytime no matter the sender or the message.

A friend of mine owns a tablet and his tablet plays the videos on that site his tablet opens the video player to play the video but my DROID RAZR maxx doesnt do anything do I need flash player to play the videos or my phone just can't play the videos on that site.

View 8 Replies View RelatedTwice now since I have gotten this phone the bluetooth has stopped working until I reboot. I do not know how to reproduce this error on demand, yet. What I have noticed/tried: This is with a setreo headset. Bluetooth was working. After not using it for a couple of hours I get a call. I notice that the bluetooth indicator is still blue, but the bluetooth button on the phone dialer screen is disabled and audio comes through regular phone earpiece. After call I try some music but I hear nothing. I turn off the headset and the indicator on the phone turns grey. I turn the headset back on and the indicator turns blue and I get both the phone and stereo audible connect indicators in my headset. Still no sound when playing music. After a reboot bluetooth works as expected. I have a log from the time while I was performing the tests if any admin people would like it.

I can find and play music tracks but as soon as I hit the "home" key the music pauses. Basically, any time I exit the player, the music stops.. So I can listen to music OR do anything else.. annoying? yes!
If I press the "home" key or exit any other way - The widget on the home screen reverts to "Go to music dashboard" and if I press to un-pause the music, I am taken back to the "My Music" homescreen and have to re-select a song.
fix / workaround / another music player (one with Motocast capability?). Can i re-install "my music" or reset something?
- I am running motocast, but this problem occurs on Motocast and downloaded music. - i have tried turnignoff motocast computers. - This does not happen with podcasts or any other media - just music in my library.
Does anyone have this issue of the notifications playing trhough BOTH the speaker and headphones? I have read that this is a Android issue that Google has not fixed yet

By adding the simple rule to not include anything played in the last "x" number of days, any song played would disappear from the playlist. In other words, once you play it, it no longer fits the requirement for the playlist, so it drops off, creating a continuously updating, self-contained playlist. I just noticed that my iPhone 4 no longer does this. The playlists do not update until they are synced in iTunes.
After syncing my Iphone 4 and my Itouch Itunes erased all my smart playlist.

When I add an iTunes Smart Playlist to my iPhone 4, the tracks are not in the same order on the iPhone as they are on iTunes. When the iPhone is connected to iTunes, the playlist appears to be sorted correctly but on the device itself, it's out of order. All of my playlists in iTunes are sorted in Album by Artist/Year order, and they occasionally sync the songs in the correct order, but then the order changes.

View 3 Replies View RelatedUsing the stock File Manager app I can see audio files on my Maxx HD's internal storage and also on the SD card. I happen to be looking at ringtone files. If I tap on the filename to play the ringtone, Amazon Cloudplayer pops up and shows all the music files on my SD card. No ringtones can be found. If I back out of Amazon Cloudplayer and use the file manager to try finding and playing ANY audio file on EITHER my SD card or the internal storage I get sent to Amazon Cloudplayer. I then have to use the back button to get back to the file manager icon in the App drawer. Same thing happens if I try to play audio files on my SD card. Amazon Cloud Player pops up. I don't want to use Amazon Cloud Player to play an audio file in SD storage.
If I connect my phone to my PC and navigate to the ringtones on internal storage and click on them they play as per usual (Windows media player). If I use my PC to play audio files on the SD card they play as usual.Why does my phone default to Amazon Cloud Player when I tap on an audio file in File Manager? What is the stock audio file player on the Maxx HD? Why can't I browse to an audio file with the file manager and tap on it and have it play? How do I fix this?
