Can I select a specific playlist to play when I select the autoplay music when I start a workout? When I went into the music screen and set the playlist that way, I couldn't get any coach feedback, but when I set the auto-play function it played all the music, not just the playlist I wanted.

This worked before, but on my run today it Auto-Paused at two stop lights when I stopped, but after starting running again it wouldn't resume on its own and I had to press Start to get it going again

I created a new subdirectory - (I used "local" but I dont thing the name matters"3. Using a playlist created in the Itunes subdirectory as a template, I created a playlist (which is just plain ascii text) and put the list in my "local" subdirectory. The name of the playlist file is what will be used as a playlist name. I called mine - "libtest.pls". View 3 Replies View RelatedI've only had my MOTOACTV for a few weeks, and its been slowly developing my fitness music playlist. I thought this was a really cool concept when I got the device. Now the issue is, I have a lot of music on my device that I just like to listen to on a regular basis, but not so much during a workout. When I was working out and those songs that kill my buzz play I skip them, but even with a second of playtime, it logged the music with my average heart rate and activity during the song... which then placed the song into my fitness playlist.

View 8 Replies View RelatedQuestion for Matt, or anyone who can answer this: does setting the battery saving mode to marathon also affect the time it takes for the Motoactv to auto restart recording a workout when you have come to a stop?What happened was that I had to stop at a busy intersection to wait for traffic to clear. In the minute or so that I had to wait, the auto pause kicked in. When I started moving again, it took several hundred yards for the Moto to restart the workout. I panicked a bit and hit the restart button manually when it didn't start right away, but it seems that auto restart was working -- it just took an awful long time to kick in.Anyway, to get to the nub of the question -- since the marathon setting ostensibly checks signals less often than the "normal" setting (every 3 sec. rather than every second), is it possible that the auto restart is going to have a longer lag time between when the bike starts moving and when it restarts than if I had the battery mode set to "normal".

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a set of Jaybird JF3 Freedom BT headphones (fantastic running headphones BTW!) - both the Motoactv manual and the device itself tell me that when the Motoactv and my BT headset are in range of each other and powered on, they will auto-connect. Of the 30+ times I've used them, this only happened once. Every other time I have to go into Settings - Wireless - BT Headsets-JF3 Freedom and hit the "Reconnect" button - then they reconnect right away. One random time, they auto-connected. I didn't do anything different than I normally do.

You need to pause then start the next session Then just the final kick in the nuts it doesnt tell you when to speed up or slow down like the Garmin does.
My new vehicle has a USB port that I can hook the Motoactv to. The system plays the BonusTracks playlist rather than the playlist that contains all of my downloaded songs. The same thing happens when I use the USB with my laptop. How can I change the system to use a playlist other than Bonus Tracks? Or how can I move all my music to the Bonus Tracks folder?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo this morning I was getting ready to go for my morning run and for some reason I could not get any of my songs to start playing. I switched out the headphones and still no luck. The weird part was I could hear the "beeps" when I changed the volume of the audio to higher or lower, but the music would just fail to play. I did try other songs and even the ones that came with the device. None worked.
I shoud note, I took the device on a long 18.5 mile run Saturday, the music played fine.. But it might of gotten a bit sweaty?
Seems to be stuck on shuffle mode.how to play straight through
View 3 Replies View RelatedHere is what I would like to do and did in the past with Media player and my HTC Touch Pro 2 - I created an auto playlist that selects songs that have NOT been listened to, a playcount less than one. (it doesn't show up in the desktop manager for media sync) I would like to be able to listen to stuff (causing a play count of one on the phone), and then when I re-connect to the computer have media player remove what has a play count of more than zero. This had some success with my HTC Touch Pro 2. It appears to NOT work on my 8530, it looks like NOTHING gets removed from the phone and there is no "auto" about it. The memory card is full, I listened to songs, re-connected to the computer and it appears that media player sees that the card is full and does nothing.I have had my 8530 1 DAY and have gotten many answers here from previous threads.

I have checked the instructions and they all suggest the same, but it seems that my phone does not have the same settings. I am able to create playlists and name them but I cannot add any songs to them - whenever I open a playlist the only songs I have are the pre-installed Nokia songs. I can play songs one by one, from the music folder.

however, I discovered that, the alarm in 5800XM allows only one music file being selected as the alarm tone,moreover, even when a song is selected, it would be played for may be 30 sec / 1 min sth when alarm activated,which means, it cannot plays the whole song till it finished before 5800XM went back to silence again,

Some songs in my playlist are red and wont play if I click them but they will play if I click on them in the all songs playlist. any ideas?

I just recently upgraded my blackberry app world to version4.0.0.63.I also had to upgrade my Black Berry Identity to version 5.3.0.14
After doing so evertime i click on an app in Black Berry App world and choose download, I always get the anoying LONG Disclaimer page that i have to scroll for God knows how long! and then when i choose accept, NOTHING happens. The Please wait sign dissapears instantly and and nothing comes up. Nothing!
It happens with any app i try to download. Also , same exact thing happens when i click on MyAppWorld. I know i am logged in and my account is good because i can go and change my payment options without a problem

But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.
