View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9780, I have added a playlist of 31 songs to the media player using the desktop software. When I try to play the playlist in the media player, it seems to play the songs in a random (or what seems to be random) order. Is there any way to stop or correct this from happening?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I select a music album, the tracks are listed in alphabetical order. Is there a way to play them in album track order, without having to rearrange them in a playlist?
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow to resolve this, or is it just a glitch that came up when my music player updated to the current version attached in the photo below??There's no repeat or shuffle turned on
After about 20 plus songs or so, the playlist starts all over again from the very top.... In some rare occasions, the list even starts auto shuffling itself even though shuffle isn't turned on >.< It's annoying as I have to keep going back to where I last stopped again everytime it does that. Is there any way to fix it??? I've tried turning my phone on and off and soft resetting my phone already but the problem still persists
The last time I updated the music player with the version number
I'm on a Torch 9800 software 6.0 bundle 2647.
I have my MP3 files organized in directories and have created playlists with the order I want the songs to play in. After I start the first song, the media player ignores the song order in the playlist and randomly plays the rest of the song.
I've tried numbering the song titles (01, 02, etc.), I've edited the MP3 information to set the track number, and I've tried playlists created on the BB and on Windows Media player. All with no luck.
I use the songs for a workout regimen, so the order is somewhat important.
I'm new to using a Samsung Galaxy s5 and Adroid altogether. I recently added an SD card to my device and have no issues adding files to it but I'm wondering, is there a way to make my music into playlists? Or is that something you can only do if my music is on my device?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've made some playlists in my iTunes. I've named them Remix 1, Remix 2, etc. I have the songs in a specific order in the playlist on iTunes but when I sync the playlist to my iPhone, they are in a different order. In each song in my playlist, I click on the 'info' tab and put # in the 'track number' but that doesn't help.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I add an iTunes Smart Playlist to my iPhone 4, the tracks are not in the same order on the iPhone as they are on iTunes. When the iPhone is connected to iTunes, the playlist appears to be sorted correctly but on the device itself, it's out of order. All of my playlists in iTunes are sorted in Album by Artist/Year order, and they occasionally sync the songs in the correct order, but then the order changes.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to get a definitive answer as have been researching this for weeks and despite my best efforts still have no solution.I am using the fantastic N900 (well done Nokia!) and would like all my music on the device. All efforts so far have transferred music ok but album tracks always appears in alphabetical order in the music player as opposed to the album track order(not much good). This is despite careful tagging and trying with Windows Media Player, Media Monkey & Songbird to see if any work best.
I found out today that this might be due to the file being a .wma file. All my music is ripped to my PC in .wma as in my experience I find the quality vs file size is great and better by far than .mp3.Today I ripped a CD with WMP as .mp3 and after sync the track order was correct (although I do not want to use WMP through choice and certainly not .mp3, let alone re rip my entire CD Collection), my preference would be Media Monkey or Songbird with .wma.
Is this a bug or N900 problem? (I know they are different but it worked fine on N97 and N95 8gb previously with MM and .wma) Can anyone help? or even offer a recommendation or suggestion as to what they think is best format, application or way to have music on the N900 etc.
I bought N97 & transferred some music files from PC. Some them are copied to Menu<Music<Music Library. I want to delete these files. Can anybody guide me for this?
Also How the Music files under Application<Mass Memory<E:<Music can be played as playlist?
I love car mode on my S5, except for this stupid bug where it plays music in alphabetical order instead of track order when you ask it to play an album. If I say the same command using the "OK Google" feature outside of car mode, that works just fine. The metadata on the mp3 files have the correct track info.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWith my S4, when I connected to bluetooth in my car and then switched to Media, it automatically started playing Google Play Music. Now with the S6, doing the same thing plays local "music" (ringtones) via the built in Samsung Music app. I can't find a way to change the default, and I can't disable the Music app. it's possible to make another music app the default, and if so how?

I have a brand new Nokia E6 which comes from Germany, however I'm unable to play any songs through a playlist. I have checked the instructions and they all suggest the same, but it seems that my phone does not have the same settings. I am able to create playlists and name them but I cannot add any songs to them - whenever I open a playlist the only songs I have are the pre-installed Nokia songs. I can play songs one by one, from the music folder.
View 2 Replies View RelatedCan I select a specific playlist to play when I select the autoplay music when I start a workout? When I went into the music screen and set the playlist that way, I couldn't get any coach feedback, but when I set the auto-play function it played all the music, not just the playlist I wanted.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am one of the user of 5800XM,recently, I tried to play a music playlist / an entire CD album with the alarm function,I would like the effect as an ipod which start playing music at specific time,
however, I discovered that, the alarm in 5800XM allows only one music file being selected as the alarm tone, moreover, even when a song is selected, it would be played for may be 30 sec / 1 min sth when alarm activated, which means, it cannot plays the whole song till it finished before 5800XM went back to silence again,
I have searched over the internet for any tips or any S60 software to take that task, unluckily, there seems to be none of them works, here, I sincerely hope that someone could suggest a solution for me, such that.I CAN USE THE ALARM on 5800XM to PLAY a PLAYLIST exactly like how ipod's alarm function can do.
Some songs in my playlist are red and wont play if I click them but they will play if I click on them in the all songs playlist. any ideas?

I have the phone connected via Bluetooth, and i can make and receive calls just fine, all is loud and clear.
But it will not play Music (not from YouTube, not from google Music) when i hit AD2P
I checked some forums and other sites, i tried unpairing, i tried force stop and remove data and clear cache, i tried to do almost anything - nothing worked.
i also do not have the "Media Audio" option under options in Bluetooth device properties (when you click the round icon next to the car device name) - but also ,
My brother has LG G3 (android 5.0) and he is ABLE to play music just fine - He also do not have the "Media Audio" option in bluetooth device properties.
Both phones properties look the same, but only the LG G3 is playing music once AD2P is chosen in the Car.
So yesterday I went out in my car and figured I wanted to listen to my music on my phone. Normally, I would listen to my music via bluetooth in my parents car but since my car stereo doesn't have bluetooth capability, I had to use USB. I didn't think I needed Bluetooth at the time I bought it since my iPhone that I had before worked flawlessly via USB. The stereo is an aftermarket Pioneer X35UI and all I get on the stereo is USB N/A. I was wondering if there was some sort of software/ workaround that would possibly make this possible to listen via USB. I could always listen via 3.5 mm jack but I wouldn't be able to control the music through the car. I would have to fumble around in my phone which is not good in a driving situation.
