View 1 RepliesI have a Samsung S5 and since installing the 5.0 lollipop my stored music will play a few seconds the I get a message "couldn't play the track requested." All my music stored on the SD card came from a CD ripped into my laptop, and then moved into the phone onto my card. How do I fix this so my music plays normal as before the lollipop upgrade.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my Galaxy S5 a month ago, and at first I paired my phone in my car and was able to use the hands-free and play music. Last evening while a song was playing the phone lost the bluetooth connection with the car.
I tried several times to re-connect, but not able to establish the connection back.
I tried to delete all previous listed phones/names, but that has not worked either.
With my S4, when I connected to bluetooth in my car and then switched to Media, it automatically started playing Google Play Music. Now with the S6, doing the same thing plays local "music" (ringtones) via the built in Samsung Music app. I can't find a way to change the default, and I can't disable the Music app. it's possible to make another music app the default, and if so how?

I have the S6, and it wont play music through the AUX cable no matter which cable or music player app I use. I had a nexus 4 previous to this and it worked fine. My brother has a s4 and it also works fine for him.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI own a Hyundai I35 2014,
I have the phone connected via Bluetooth, and i can make and receive calls just fine, all is loud and clear.
But it will not play Music (not from YouTube, not from google Music) when i hit AD2P
I checked some forums and other sites, i tried unpairing, i tried force stop and remove data and clear cache, i tried to do almost anything - nothing worked.
i also do not have the "Media Audio" option under options in Bluetooth device properties (when you click the round icon next to the car device name) - but also ,
My brother has LG G3 (android 5.0) and he is ABLE to play music just fine - He also do not have the "Media Audio" option in bluetooth device properties.
Both phones properties look the same, but only the LG G3 is playing music once AD2P is chosen in the Car.
It continues to play the same song over and over unless I unlock it and click to the next song.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo yesterday I went out in my car and figured I wanted to listen to my music on my phone. Normally, I would listen to my music via bluetooth in my parents car but since my car stereo doesn't have bluetooth capability, I had to use USB. I didn't think I needed Bluetooth at the time I bought it since my iPhone that I had before worked flawlessly via USB. The stereo is an aftermarket Pioneer X35UI and all I get on the stereo is USB N/A. I was wondering if there was some sort of software/ workaround that would possibly make this possible to listen via USB. I could always listen via 3.5 mm jack but I wouldn't be able to control the music through the car. I would have to fumble around in my phone which is not good in a driving situation.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, I'm listening to music through my headphones, no problem. I'm listening through the speaker, no problem. But when I want to plug it into the 3.5mm AUX cable in my car, or to connect it to my stereo, nothing happens. Volume is turned up all the way. The music app/spotify/youtube is playing. Other phones and devices play through the same cables.
It's just when connecting to my car or stereo. I'm new to Android...
How can I save Google play music to my sd card? I tried it before and when I went to the android folder under SD card, it didn't have the song title. Just numbers. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and a MacBook Pro.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my phone to my cars Bluetooth it automatically starts playing music from Samsungs Music app. The issue is I have Google All Access so none of my music is in that app. Is there a way to have Google Music play by default when connected instead of Samsungs Music app? I checked to see if Samsungs app was set as a default but it wasn't and I can't find any auto play options, I also can't just disable the music app. Oddly enough sometimes it will open Google music and other times it will open Samsung Music even if the last time I was in the car I used Google Music.

I have a 2011 Ford Escape and it has the USB plug. I plugged my phone in and it won't do anything.
I seem to have developed a strange problem since the update to 5.1.1 a couple of days ago. When I connect to my Edge via bluetooth, and use Google Play Music, there is a beep in the background and the music stutters and then continue playing, then about 30 seconds later it happens again...it coninues for about 10 to 15 minutes then the problem disappeared entirely. I don't believe it is entirely Google Play Music because I paused Google Play Music and the beeping continued in the background. ......perhaps the bluetooth connection? I haven't been able to reproduce the error but it has happened twice.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have all of my music uploaded to Google Play. I have about 30 of those same albums on my phone's memory card also so that I can have music if I don't have data or want to save bandwidth. The problem is that the albums that are also on my phone show up twice in the the Play Music app on my phone. I have tried doing a refresh in the app and have also tried clearing cache and data with no effect.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone for reasons best known to itself infrequently if not rarely reboots and then plays a loud piece of music (not one I have downloaded!) and I cannot seem to mute it or turn it off until its run it's 30 second course. This may not sound a long time but it is when you are in a meeting of quiet place and other than removing the battery, which would defeat the whole point I cannot find out how to a) silence it, b) turn it off for future reboots or c) why my phone feels the need to restart on a regular basis.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a really bad problem with my Galaxy S5. My S4 was fine until I updated to Lollipop, so I think that's the problem.
I'm playing music with headphones plugged in, Whatsapp notification sound plays through speakers.
That's fine.
BUT suddenly during notification, the music ALSO plays through the speakers for a few seconds! This is really frustrating because I receive messages throughout the day and don't want everyone around me to be disturbed with what I'm listening to (in library, on bus, etc.).
Nothing I try works.
Before Lollipop, Whatsapp notification would play on speakers and audio still through headphones. That was fine.
Can someone tell me if its possible to connect my phone with my usb cable to my car frontloader and play music through it? If not what do i need to be able to play music through my frontloader in car from my phone?

Info:
iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.2
So I'm new to the Samsung Galaxy S5 and I have a few artists that I put on my phone using my laptop and a few artists in my library that either don't have an artist picture, or they have an album art as the picture. Is there any way to just add or edit an artist picture?
