Galaxy S5 :: Getting Error Message When Try To Play Stored Music On Phone
Jun 9, 2015
I have a Samsung S5 and since installing the 5.0 lollipop my stored music will play a few seconds the I get a message "couldn't play the track requested." All my music stored on the SD card came from a CD ripped into my laptop, and then moved into the phone onto my card. How do I fix this so my music plays normal as before the lollipop upgrade.
I really like the visualization with the standard player but it won't recognize Google play music files even when stored on my device. Is there a way to get it to "see" them?
I have an iPhone 5 and frequently listen to music on it. The problem is, I have an enormous music library in iTunes. I believe it's around 50 GB or so. I've heard bigger, but unfortunately my library is too big to physically reside in my iPhone's storage (which is 64GB). I pay for a 1TB Google Drive subscription. Would it be possible to load these songs on my iPhone 5?
I can play the files through the file manager but not the google play or the default music player. I have even downloaded third party music players with no luck. I tried moving the files around to the default music folder, and even the folder with the samsung song that came with the phone. No luck.
My last phone (nexus 4) recognized the files instantly, even found the album art and organized all of them no matter where the files were located. I really don't understand what the problem is, I thought this was supposed to be an upgrade.
Would putting the files on a micro SD card work at all?
I own an Xperia Play phone, obviously, but I have "GO Launcher EX" installed on it, which is an application capable of changing the look/theme of the phone, but I'm sure most of you know this.Ever since installing it, the phone has been fine. It's gotten a little laggy at times, but most of all, more or less the same experience. But as of now, a certain album of mine in "Music" has stopped working. When I access it through "Artists" the message shows up and aborts me to the homescreen. Now, I can access it through "Albums" and I can access the songs through "Songs," but I'd prefer to be able to access the album through "Albums."*Supplementary Informaton* I installed Album Art Grabber on my Play, and around this time is when the problems appeared. I'll delete the album, then re-import it into my phone, the album works for a few days, but then it stops. It seems as though whenever I select the album cover using "Album Art Grabber," and it stops. You see, I haven't waited long enough to make an accurate assumption about the program and the problems it may or may not be causing.
I bought my Galaxy S5 a month ago, and at first I paired my phone in my car and was able to use the hands-free and play music. Last evening while a song was playing the phone lost the bluetooth connection with the car.
I tried several times to re-connect, but not able to establish the connection back.
I tried to delete all previous listed phones/names, but that has not worked either.
The message "standard quality" flashes briefly when a new song plays on Nokia Music. This suggests that there may be some higher quality available, but I can find no evidence of it.
With my S4, when I connected to bluetooth in my car and then switched to Media, it automatically started playing Google Play Music. Now with the S6, doing the same thing plays local "music" (ringtones) via the built in Samsung Music app. I can't find a way to change the default, and I can't disable the Music app. it's possible to make another music app the default, and if so how?
I am having an issue with a weird error code that I have gotten since day 1 of owning my torch. Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.
I have a samsung galaxy s2 with android 4.0.4 and recently I started getting the message (sim card full) but I have no contacts nor messages stored in the sim card.I went to vodafone (Portugal) and they gave me a new 4G sim card as they are replacing all 3G cards.
Searching the internet and some say that it is a format issue and I should buy a converter, it is not a format issue since the same file will play on the network drive but not on the S5 network card.
when i am on Internet i can no longer view media files?? not sure why , it was working before? not sure if i changed a setting or what? it says" an error has occurred attempting to play media.
Last week I got a new phone, Moto X, and transferred a bunch of music into it. Most worked just fine, but 4 albums had a problem. Two of them simply don't show in my library and the other 2 display the following error message when a song from one of them is played: Music playback error - Couldn't play the track you requested.
I've tried clearing Google Play Musics cache and data but the problem wasn't solved. I also cant remove my SD card because I dont have the little key that opens the compartment where its stored.
I have the S6, and it wont play music through the AUX cable no matter which cable or music player app I use. I had a nexus 4 previous to this and it worked fine. My brother has a s4 and it also works fine for him.
I have a noia lumia 710, and whenever I connect my windows phone , zune opens but then an error message prompts. " Connection error, Can't connect to your phone.Disconnect it, restart it, then try connecting again."I have tried all possible solutions.I try every steps suggested in that link.htmand also that link I could do the Certificate steps cause when I open certmgr.msc I don't see anywhere the Zune certificate.
Error after syncing music via Windows Phone for Desktop app? Why can't microsoft make it as easy as iTunes when syncing music.Out of 3000 songs only about 100 synced.
I have 20GB of music stored on my N5 and had been using Poweramp for MP3 playback. I wanted to try All Access so I opened up Play Music, but I don't see anyway to play the music that is stored locally on the phone. Is there a way to do this?
picked up my S6 earlier this week ..... loving it by the way... how to set a track from play music as my ring tone. I managed to do it on my s4 but can't figure out how to do it on the S6 ..
My problem is I want to play music from my samsung via usb in my van.My old htc I just connected my usb and the vans media player detected it and played from my sd card, but i cant seem to do the same with the galaxy s2.I have been looking on the net and getting everything from it cant be done to buying fm transmitters?
Why is it that whenever i restart my phone or once i plug my phone with the USB,the apps that are stored in the SD card is pushed all the way to the last page? this happens everytime until i have to manually put everything all over againi have set the Arrange Apps to Own Order alrdy and it still pushes all the apps. Another problem is that i have to turn on and off the data plan twice in order for it to work.when i turn it on the 1st time, the icon is there but not connected to the internet
I am having major problems with the media player. First it wouldn't let me add music to the playlist I kept getting an error message now it won't even let me create a new playlist.
