I couldn't find an option to limit the display to the phone storage only. So i see duplicates. This is anoying. Even my 6 year old 3110 classic can do this! Nokia - where have you hidden this option?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung S5 and since installing the 5.0 lollipop my stored music will play a few seconds the I get a message "couldn't play the track requested." All my music stored on the SD card came from a CD ripped into my laptop, and then moved into the phone onto my card. How do I fix this so my music plays normal as before the lollipop upgrade.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI turned on the "contacts" feature in the iCloud menu in settings on my iPhone4. I ended up with a lot useless email addresses from my yahoo contact list that was cluttering up my phone contacts (actual phone numbers.) I thought I could undo this by turning off the contacts feature in iCloud. Instead, it wiped ALL of my phone number information in contacts, and left me with just the list of my email addresses, which I don't need. I am desperate to recover all those phone numbers!

View 2 Replies View RelatedLove the phone - just got a really irritating problem. I've synced my phone with my gmail account - the My Contacts list has my key contact email addresses. Then I have multiple groups within gmail account relating to work emails etc, nearly 500 odd.
On the phone, when I click my 'Contacts' button, initially it showed all my phone number contacts, as well all google email contacts mixed with them. I corrected this by going to 'display options' to select 'display only contacts with phone numbers', so that I didn't have to trawl through random email addresses mixed with my proper phone contacts. Great, sorted.
But, when I go to compose a text message - if it is to one or two specific contacts it is fine...I just type their name and it comes up. If I want to scroll through all my phone contacts to send the same message to multiple contacts, big problem - I press that envelope button in the top right corner next to 'enter recipient', and it takes me to the Contacts list, but here it still shows ALL 600 odd contacts with phone contacts still mixed with google email contacts, which is impossible to scroll through and select multiple people to send a text message to....Does anyone know how to sort this out?!??!
where exactly is the adress book/all contacts stored by default in the 9800, i.e; in the mobile phone memory, in the SIM card (I don't think so) or in the micro SD card (media card)?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI hope that there is someone out there who can help me. I have a W595 (Walkman); a super mobile phone that I have owned for 18 months without a problem. Today, I find that there is a problem whilst scrolling through my contacts stored on my phone (not SIM Card). After opening my contacts list from the "home" screen, the contacts list displays. Then, as I scroll down through them to the first one beginning with"C", the display reverts immediately to the "home" screen and then reopens the list starting from "A". If I reverse scroll, I can scroll up through the list and, when I reach first (top) "C" again, the display screen reverts immediately to the "home" screen but this time stays there! There is not a problem when I scroll through the SIM card-stored contacts.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am about 12-13 months in to an 18 month contract with 3. My W595 has recently started to play up. It is a random occurrence so I cannot just take it in to a shop and show what is happening and going wrong. I have over 290 contacts and details in my phone. Sometimes when I reach for my phone and press the down button to get to my contacts there is nothing there apart from New Contact and My Numbers. All of the contacts have disappeared. Not only do the contacts disappear but so do all the stored text messages that I want to keep a bit longer before deleting. Fortunately I meticulously back my phone up using PC Suite so at least I can get them back again, but that in it self has it's problems, which I will explain further down. My contacts are stored in the phone memory, (there too many to store on the SIM). All other data, such as the calender, photos and notes remain intact and OK, I can only surmise that this data is stored away from the phone memory on the SD card so it cannot "disappear" in the same way.
I have reported this to 3 tech support but all they do is get me to check for updates to the phone software, (which happens to be current anyway). I just reinstall using the update facility and be done with it. The crazy thing is that because my confidence level is so low at the moment, I have to cart my laptop with me when I go away for wekends, just in case I lose everything again. The phone and the laptop have to be kept together for obvious reasons. The problem was reported to 3 well before the 12 month warranty ran out so any more reported problems that are connected will be covered in the event of a claim being made. They won't send a replacement phone whilst my own phone is away for analysis. I cannot do without the phone and the contents.
I have made my mind up to leave 3 at the end of the contract and I do not want another Sony Ericsson phone - I want to go back to Nokia, I never had any trouble with them. At the moment, I just feel as though I am limping with this W595 to the end of a painful 18 months. Has, or is anyone else experiencing similar problems with their W595? PC Suite Problem. My main problem with PC Suite when used in conjunction with my Sony Ericsson W595 phone is that there is no facility to produce a hard copy or print of the contacts list. I will need to do this when I change phones at the end of my contract to make it easier to input them into the new phone, (which hopefully will be a Nokia!). The only method that I have found is to do a "Print Screen" or a Screen Capture. Of course this has to be done several times to be able to cover nearly 300 contacts and all their input details.
I have a new phone. AT&T couldn't add my Droid Maxx to their service, so now I have a phone, with contacts from google, but the contacts don't have any phone numbers even though on a computer I can clearly see the phone numbers. Need transferring contacts from google to galaxy s6 contacts. With out phone numbers, and phone isn't really a phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedDue to glitches with the 5.1.1, I performed a back up, repair and restore as recommended in these forums. However my contacts seem to have been wiped out and it doesn't give me the option to import contacts stored on my Google account. All in all the 5.1.1 has been the upgrade fro **bleep**.

You see I have Amazon Mobile on my phone but my Galaxy 10.1 tab can't seem to get it in the AM.I was going to have a go at copying the APK across and seeing if I could get it to install that way but obviously need to know where to find them first. I am rooted and have root explorer.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a sd card in my S5 that I had saved apps to. I had to change phones as old one gave up the ghost. No I cannot find the things stored on the card. If I plug it in to the computer then bring up the sd card they come up but they are not there in apps management. Can/how do I get them back. What's the point of saving these if they cannot be retrieved (I know part of it is to save space on device) and why do they show up on the pc and not the phone itself?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a factory unlocked version of an HTC One M8 on AT&T running 4.4.3. I noticed a week ago I was having issues with Pocketcasts freezing. It stored its files on the SD card so I moved them to the phone storage. It seems to be working fine now. This week I have been taking pictures with my HTC M8 and the gallery freezes and the picture will turn blank with a triangle in it. The camera stores pictures on the SD card also. If I touch the picture the phone locks up.

I've had my phone since April and has recently started to experience a lot of problems with the handset. I'm best mentioning that my technical know-how is very limited in terms of phones, but I've accepted the fact I'm going to have to run a factory reset on my phone. So the problems I'm experiencing:- All of a sudden, apps start crashing one after the other. So much so that I can't even turn the phone off properly and just have to hold the power button down until it goes off itself.- Sometimes it just freezes, and when it does, it rapidly drains the battery.- Other times it just randomly decides to turn itself off (this has happened during the night resulting in me sleeping in for work because my alarm has failed to go off!)- When apps have crashed and I've had to turn it on and off again, all information stored (ie. texts, photos, Twitter feed) after the 16th October is gone!I've even went on Kies Air to start transferring photos, videos, etc. to my laptop, but even that keeps crashing, meaning it constantly disconnects from the laptop. I cleared out a lot of old apps I don't use anymore, but they reappear when I turn it back on, resetting back to pre-16th October like I mentioned.
