I have a samsung galaxy s2 with android 4.0.4 and recently I started getting the message (sim card full) but I have no contacts nor messages stored in the sim card.I went to vodafone (Portugal) and they gave me a new 4G sim card as they are replacing all 3G cards.

I hope that there is someone out there who can help me. I have a W595 (Walkman); a super mobile phone that I have owned for 18 months without a problem. Today, I find that there is a problem whilst scrolling through my contacts stored on my phone (not SIM Card). After opening my contacts list from the "home" screen, the contacts list displays. Then, as I scroll down through them to the first one beginning with"C", the display reverts immediately to the "home" screen and then reopens the list starting from "A". If I reverse scroll, I can scroll up through the list and, when I reach first (top) "C" again, the display screen reverts immediately to the "home" screen but this time stays there! There is not a problem when I scroll through the SIM card-stored contacts.

I have a sd card in my S5 that I had saved apps to. I had to change phones as old one gave up the ghost. No I cannot find the things stored on the card. If I plug it in to the computer then bring up the sd card they come up but they are not there in apps management. Can/how do I get them back. What's the point of saving these if they cannot be retrieved (I know part of it is to save space on device) and why do they show up on the pc and not the phone itself?

When I go to messages >options and then the SMS section there is no option to check or uncheck for saving SMS to SIM card. Please do NOT give me those same instructions again. View 3 Replies View RelatedBelow is a relisting of a current problem I have not managed to fix.I have the latest firmware installed on my N97, but after the latest upgrade (clean install was done, mass mem refromatted, hard reset, etc') On checking over the phone I started getting messages that the Mass mem' was full (Not so) I eventually traced it to my 8 gig mem' card, (is coming up with the message that the memory card is corrupt, I have now tried 3 different mem' cards) cos after this was removed the phone worked perfectly again, I tried reformatting the card via the pc , same problem when the card was put back in, tried a brand new card , same problem, lastly tried a known working 4 gig mem' card, same problem?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI received my new Nokia 5800XM yesterday and was told in-store that the GPS would work automatically. So went home and tried it for the first time, it discovered my position in under 5 minutes, and I was super excited as I got the phone solely for the purpose of navigating my way around the new city I had just moved to. However, when selected the "drive", "walk" or "search" options it didn't give any results for my searches for addresses. I tried a bunch of variations on the names of places and even used google maps as a reference of how to write out the addresses but it has a standard "no results found" every time. It also jumps between "searching online" and "searching offline". I visited the Nokia website to see if I could find a solution, and subsequently upgraded the software on my phone, downloaded the maps installer, the map loader and the multimedia transfer. I then deleted all the existing maps and installed the map for my country and a voice.
It is still, despite having no problem with connectivity, not giving me any search results. Is there some place that you set the phone to search the maps installed on the memory card? As I think that the phone searches online and the connectivity might be interrupted? really have no clue about these things. searched everywhere and couldn't find setting for this. I can scroll through the map and manually select a place, after which the GPS works fine except - the voice isn't working! Does it talk out loud? or do you need your headphones? This is fine if you're going somewhere that you know, but that's kind of defeating the point of having GPS, no? Another small problem is that I have a constant flashing little envelope in the right top corner, it says that "SIM card is full" - but I can't find a directory for the SIM card? It's been flashing since the moment I put the SIM in the phone, but never did it with my old phone. Any idea where I can access the SIM information and delete some of it?
I have just recieved a new Vivaz Pro phone. Im a novice as I previously had SE K850i which I loved but sadly has died! Today, I have spent hours and hours trying to "add" my Contacts via the Sim Card to the Vivaz. Sent messages are stored to the phone without any problem. However, all incoming messages are stored to the sim card. I can probably take 30 messages before it fills up completely.This gets annoying because I am constantly having to delete my inbox when I rather not be doing it.I checked all over the phone for some sort of option to change this but have had no luck.Any one know if it is possible?
Another problem is that I plug the phone in every night to charge.When I wake up, it is fully charged. However, when I unplug it, it flashes "Low Battery" and powers down.I can turn it back on and the battery is full but this gets pretty annoying.Any hear of this before?Finally, is there any way to change the images that show up on the locked screen?They are nice but are annoying after some time.

When phone is connected to usb the card mounts and I can see it from the PC and copy files to it. When I try to browse the card from the phone, it is not found. I thought I had formatted it FAT32, but of I look at card properties in file explorer on the PC, it says 'File System: Generic hierarchical'. So I'm thinking perhaps it is not formatted properly. If I am to try another format, is it best to let the phone format it, or do it in a card reader on the PC first? I'm worried if I let the phone do it I may wipe my internal SD by mistake.

It stored its files on the SD card so I moved them to the phone storage. It seems to be working fine now. This week I have been taking pictures with my HTC M8 and the gallery freezes and the picture will turn blank with a triangle in it. The camera stores pictures on the SD card also. If I touch the picture the phone locks up.

I do the regular 'USB utilites -> Connect storage to PC' routine, but all I get on the PC is the external card.
