I recently purchased a BB Bold 9000 and my SMS message inbox is full already. Every time I recieve a msg it asks me to delete some msgs to create space. Is there any way I can save all my existing msgs to my device or my memory card and all the incoming ones too?

When I go to messages >options and then the SMS section there is no option to check or uncheck for saving SMS to SIM card. Please do NOT give me those same instructions again. How can I stop this otherwise? I don't have very manytext messages saved at all.

I did not have the same issue with the 9800 that I had before.

For some reason, with OS 5.0, I do not have that option anymore. I went to the SMS option and had it saved to an SD card, but doesn't work.

View 5 Replies View Relatedi have a blackberry bold 9700 v 5.0.0.862 ( bundle 1446, platform 5.1.0.175 I fully charged my battery monday night, unplugged it before going to sleep.When i woke up the phone was turned off, when i turned on i got a white screen with a battery with a red line through it but no blackberry loading screen.I didn't know what was wrong so i plugged phone in to charge a bit. when there was no change i unplugged it and held the power button. After many many many attempts to turn it back on finally i got the BB loading screen.The battery had full power when I finally got it turned back on.I used the phone throughout the day but come suppertime the battery was still full so i went to a friends. Halfway through dinner the phone displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " .
Got home plugged in, turned back on and battery was 50%. I charged it to 100% and unplugged it before going to sleep. Woke up this morning to ringing phone i answered it had the chance to say hello then it displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " !!! Went to turn back on got the battery screen again , finally after an hour or more of trying to turn back on it finally loaded and guess what?? THE BATTERY IS SITTING AT 100%!!I don't know what's going on but my phone keeps saying the battery is drained and the phone turns off but the battery is still full.
I have an icon keep coming up on the front of the phone to say it is low on storage space as all my info is on the phone and I need to transfer it to my memory card?

My provider is O2, and I lost my SIM card and so I had to get a new one to replace it, and after it has been registered and everything sorted out from the provider's side, I found out I cant make any calls, send texts nor receive calls on my phone! Sim card works fine, as I have tried using it on a different handset. So it is my blackberry. Is it the settings I have to change? I hope I don't have to send it for repair.

I just bought a new Xperia Z2 mobile. I inserted a Samsung SDXC 64 BG micro sd card. After selecting "save photos to SD card by default" option in camera setting, I took pictures and it gave a message "Memory Error" and the pictures weren't saved on SD card. I just took a ton of awesome pictures at an art festival, got home excited the check out how good they were, and ALL but 2 are gone. Never saved. I have no idea why, I didn't close out the camera app too fast, each photo moved down to the bottom left as a thumb before I took another, or closed the app. Any idea what's going on? Any way to recover these great pics? This is really a pain as I have also lost great concert videos as well.
