View 3 RepliesI've tried recently to move back on my old phone, Nokia 6131. After I've synced contacts, i've got strange behavior. I've got contacts written on english and on russian. When I'm entering Names from menu, english ones are ok, but russian contacts displays as only first 5 symbols and then "...". When I enter contact - it displays everything normal.

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy nokia 6303c has been a bit of an annoyance, it crashed 2wice so I had to repair it and the last time it requested password for my micro SD card which I forgot, or it just wont accept it. Because I'm pretty sure I've entered every possible combination. I read that you could use fexplorer if you have a sybian nokia but I don't. Can I format my card through PC suite? It's be good if there's a way I could save all the files on my SD card but if formatting is the only way then how do I do it? I tried chucking my SD card into adapter and into built in card reader on my PC but my PC doesn't read it, I think its cause it's faulty (the card reader) I got vista also. Which sucks. It doesn't read mmc full size too so its not the micro SD adapters fault.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy wife just got a MBZ C250. We were able to pair her Nokia 6350 and my iphone to the cars bluetooth. I was also able to transfer the contacts from the iphone but not the Nokia's. In looking at the bluetooth compatible phones on the Mercedes Bluetooth site I noticed that there are no Nokia phones listed for this car model. For some reason her phone works well in the hands free mode in the car but she obviously would like to be able to access her contacts. My question is this, is there any way we can transfer her contacts to the cars bluetooth? If not, is there any way both phones can share my iphone address book since we have exactly the same contacts?

I have been hearing that you can use Vcard, but unfotunatelly this phone has no export function. Ovi Suite doesn't help and just plugging in the USB cable to the phone without using Ovi Suite does not list contacts in the file list. And this phone has no memory card either so I cannot transfer the contents to the card either.

View 10 Replies View RelatedMy daughter is a proud owner of Nokia Asha 203 since x-mas. She asked me do buy a memory card and I took a 16 GB class 6 one (from Samsung). When I put the card in the phone, it does not recognize it:
- I have copied some MP3s and they are not detected. When I choose "Memory library details" from the media player, it says
Memory card: (unknown)
- When I plug in an USB cable and choose mass storage mode, the phone says "Insert memory card to continue"
I have tried with an older card - 4 GB class 4 - and it works like charm, the phone detects and plays MP3s from it. I have tried putting the 16 GB MircoSD in another player (in fact, one cheap chnese player) - works just fine.
I have updated to the latest firmware: 20.52 from 27-09-12. Did not help. It seems to me that Asha 203 cannot handle 16GB MicroSDHC.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a nokia 1616 and I cannot get it started due to an incorrect position of the sim card within the phone.As written in the user guide, I insert the sim card into the sim card holder with the contact area facing down and the bevelled corner facing the bottom of the phone.But positioning the sim card that way means that there is too much space for the sim card to be fixed properly and it can easily shift from one side to the other. My problem is that I can't seem to install anything for want of space. My pictures are on the card, my music is on the card. Even so my card has about 1.65GB of free space yet I can figure out how to move applications to the card. This is the first way I performed the update: Main menu > Settings > sync and backup > sync with server > sync settings > synchronized data > contacts > sync settings: Google sync > automatic sync: off > rules for incoming: Confirm firstMain menu > Settings > sync and backup > sync with server > sync now

update the following things in S40 DP1.01- Option in messaging for "MY FOLDER" and option to delet msgs by marking.2- Option in music player to create playlist and adding songs in it like S40 5th edition series.3- Auto backup of created playlist while we change Memory card.4- Creation of a playlist of entire songs of a folder while we play songs from a folder like S40 5th Ed.In S40 DP1.0 plays that single song which we select to play. nokia add the above things and update in coming update version.
