I just bought Nokia Asha 302. I want to make default storage to memory card, so that all SMS, pictures, songs, contacts, applications and games can be stored on memory card and phone memory will be free for use all the time.
View 2 RepliesI have a Nokia C3-01 touch and type phone that I dropped this morning and ever since then I keep getting the error message "message storage memory not ready" when i try and go to my text messages. I have removed the memory card and done a software, hardware reset and a full phone reset and still doing the same thing.I have also check to see if there is a software update which there isn't.I can still make and receive calls its just the messaging i cant do.

1.i could not name the memory card it is having the name as "no name"
2.games given by nokia are not opening it is showing that they are only shortcuts.

View 5 Replies View Relatedthere is a problem with my memory card so i was told to copy everything on to a computer and format it , then restore it. when i select to copy everything and paste it in my documents i get an error "cannot copy file. cannot read from the source file or disk". when i untick the box "read only" in the "sys" folder i get a lot of files that wont change.

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy phone has about 90mb of space by what I can see. I have installed a microSD card and that has 4gigs.
My problem is that I can't seem to install anything for want of space. My pictures are on the card, my music is on the card. Even so my card has about 1.65GB of free space yet I can figure out how to move applications to the card. I installed the Suite today for Windows and one of the things it does it bug me to update programs like Maps... sounds good in theory but my phone filled up half way thru the installation process. how I can offload everything to the memory card?
I have been using my phone okay until recently, when I try to access items on my memory card via gallery/extras I get an error message " file format not supported" what could be the problem I cant even access pictures that I have taken using the phone, and it is still taking photos.I 'v tried switching on and off removing and returning the card but nothing!

View 3 Replies View RelatedOk, media card was working fine, had alot of work pictures stored on it and was becoming a hassle to hunt through all of them to find what I wanted. So, I inserted media card in computer and transfered what I wanted to a folder on the computer. Then I formatted the card using the computer. When I put the card back into the phone, the phone knows its there, but I must have wiped the card completely as none of the folders for video, pics, etc. are on it anymore. If I take a picture and go to find it, the media card does not even show up, just device memory.
Does anybody have a remedy for this? I already tried formatting the card in the phone but that didn't work. The phone is telling me in the memory options that 1.8GB is free, so I know it works, it just lost the folders or whatever........
I have a Nokia 2330 but the screen recently broke. All I can see now is roughly the top third of the screen. Obviously I need a new phone but unfortunately my contacts are saved to the phone, not the sim. Could somebody please spell out how to move all contacts from phone memory to Sim memory, bearing in mind that I basically can't read what's on the screen. In other words, if I have to scroll down, please say how many times I have to press down and so on.

It works fine until there was a sudden error while I was transferring the musics. After that, my PC wont recognize my device anymore. So i search for the solution in the net and I found the way.
Here it is:
"In some devices, if having copied a large number of files (> 4000 files) in Media Transfer USB mode to the device, the PC connection may not succeed any more. If this happens, try deleting files with File Mgr. Application to decrease the number of files below 4000."
go online with my nokia 6700 (press globe icon) > bookmarks > select Internet > select a video > click watch video > media player/video does not appear, only sound. the only way i can get the media player/video to appear is to press back > exit. this problem with the media player only started last week.

I tried a couple of times by using the Ovi PC Suite, but it resulted each time in error 12014 (backup of phone succeeded, but update not). Then I switched to Nokia Software Updater (also on PC) which seemed to work great. However, now the media key is not working anymore.

When I apply the theme and try to open the media player/radio i don't see the new skin. I only get a black screen with a clock in the top right corner.
