I bought a Nokia 1800, i would like to know how can i move the messages to sim card from phone memeory.is there any option to copy from phone memory to SIM or to conect PC to retrieve the messages?
View 2 RepliesI have a Nokia 2330 but the screen recently broke. All I can see now is roughly the top third of the screen. Obviously I need a new phone but unfortunately my contacts are saved to the phone, not the sim. Could somebody please spell out how to move all contacts from phone memory to Sim memory, bearing in mind that I basically can't read what's on the screen. In other words, if I have to scroll down, please say how many times I have to press down and so on.

1.i could not name the memory card it is having the name as "no name"
2.games given by nokia are not opening it is showing that they are only shortcuts.
My phone memory is filling up.. Is there a way to move/ copy contacts from phone memory to memory card?

I have removed the memory card and done a software, hardware reset and a full phone reset and still doing the same thing.I have also check to see if there is a software update which there isn't.I can still make and receive calls its just the messaging i cant do.

My problem is that I can't seem to install anything for want of space. My pictures are on the card, my music is on the card. Even so my card has about 1.65GB of free space yet I can figure out how to move applications to the card. I installed the Suite today for Windows and one of the things it does it bug me to update programs like Maps... sounds good in theory but my phone filled up half way thru the installation process. how I can offload everything to the memory card?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI discovered the other day I still have messages on my old Nokia 1100 phone. At first I thought ok, just put in a sim and copy them across. But the 1100 doesn't have this option. Since this handset is locked, I can't put in a sim and forward them either. It's odd the phone has internal memory but won't let you copy/move or do anything with the messages.
I've looked online for a data cable for the 1100. Maybe if I connect it to a computer I can extract or copy them then? I want to get these messages on my new phone with all the original details (dates, numbers etc.) intact. My googling so far for a data cable only brings up other nokia cables where the seller has just added the 1100 model number, but it clearly isn't the right cable for this phone.
Way to delete all text messages on my 5130 without doing it one by one?
