Asha 30/40 Series :: Media Player Theme On Nokia 6303i Won't Change
Nov 21, 2011
I have a Nokia 6303i and i tried so many themes that have a media player and radio skin, and they just don't work. When I apply the theme and try to open the media player/radio i don't see the new skin. I only get a black screen with a clock in the top right corner. I've tried the same themes on my friend's nokia 6303 classic and they work.
go online with my nokia 6700 (press globe icon) > bookmarks > select Internet > select a video > click watch video > media player/video does not appear, only sound. the only way i can get the media player/video to appear is to press back > exit. this problem with the media player only started last week.
I have a Nokia 6303i.I was deleting my messages (more than 800) , and somewhere on the middle of the proccess it froze.I removed the battery and tried to turn it on again (with and without SIM), it just shows the home screen, works for 5 seconds (sometimes not) and it freezes. What do I need to do.Any way to hard reset or ...
I forgot to saywhen it turns on this message appears"Supportive file. Nothing to display."
I tried to reset it using *#7780#, but it freezes while reseting.
Just purchased 6303i classic. Downloaded Nokia Suite. Tried every way to sync contacts but no success. Error message code 80043ab4. 1 suggestion was to uninstal Nokia Suite completely and start again. Have done that twice but contacts will still not sync. Same error number. At one point I found Nokia PC Suite and that synced my contacts, but I understand PC Suite is being discontinued and Nokia Suite is best flavour?
where I can find the setting to not save text or MMS messages on this phone? On my old 6303 it could be found at Menu--->Messaging---->Message Settings--->General Settings--->Save sent messages Yes/No This option does not appear to be present on this model. I have had phone re-flashed to the latest generic firmware, 07.10, so it is not a software issue (or so I think).
The Music Player Of my nokia 5130. Is Not Opening And Also not Playing Any mp3 song and video..when i try to open any video or Mp3 File Through Music Player... the error is coming that.."NOT ENOUGH MEMORY'i have formatted the memory card as well as phone memoryy.
Today I updated my phone (model 5230) from firmware 40.??? to 50.0.001. I tried a couple of times by using the Ovi PC Suite, but it resulted each time in error 12014 (backup of phone succeeded, but update not). Then I switched to Nokia Software Updater (also on PC) which seemed to work great. However, now the media key is not working anymore.
As usual I was browsing in my laptop with the phone connected in Nokia suite mode, I noticed that 14.87; a new version is available.. With all the excitement I installed it and was happy. A new option is available to set the backlight brightness. But I'm wondering how they have missed out this flaw! if we open the Nokia music player, it hangs...! Just before this update, it was playing smoothly...! At this moment, how will i able to revert back to my previous firmware...!
I have Nokia Asha 300. Recently it had restarted. Now I cant open Media player (€˜unable to open player I cat go to the Internet (˜invalid web settings˜), I have˜t got calculator and so on. What should I do? Ive reset the factory settings (but I havent do backup before it..), but the problem is still here.
I have a problem about my device, it can't be recognize by my PC. I was using media transfer for transferring musics from my computer to my mobile. It works fine until there was a sudden error while I was transferring the musics. After that, my PC wont recognize my device anymore. So i search for the solution in the net and I found the way.
Here it is: "In some devices, if having copied a large number of files (> 4000 files) in Media Transfer USB mode to the device, the PC connection may not succeed any more. If this happens, try deleting files with File Mgr. Application to decrease the number of files below 4000."
I just bought Nokia Asha 302. I want to make default storage to memory card, so that all SMS, pictures, songs, contacts, applications and games can be stored on memory card and phone memory will be free for use all the time.
whenever I try to open the music player it doesn't open, showing "operation failed". And also when I open any music file, it shows the same. I've already updated the firmware also. But this issue came after that only.
Just been upgraded to a 6303i Classic. I want to remove Web (which I won't use) from the Right Selection key and put Names there like it was on my old 6230.
The manual says I can change the Right Selection key in Settings, My Shortcuts. I see options to change the Left Selection key and the Navigation key, but there is no option to change the Right Selection key.
The software is on version 6.84. I attempted the update to 7.10 using the phone's own updater, but it came back saying no update was available.
I have a simple Nokia phone. It's a very good phone. It's a 2690 model. In Contacts there is a option called "My Numbers" that list my own number. But it displays a wrong number that it's not my number. I cannot find an option to change it. It only displays the number and doesn't show an option to change it.
Does anyone know how to update/change or delete it? Can I do it using PC Suite or Ovi Suite?
OK so I realise that I have been a numpty but when I first switched the phone on I managed to select Portuguese instead of English and I can't see how to change the device lanuguage back to English in my user guide, only instructions on 'write text language' - is this what I want and if it is as I don't speak Portuguese I am struggling to select 'Options' and then 'writing language'.! I have already tried Vodafone online troubleshooting site but no joy and no joy on You Tube either. Can't believe I am the only person to make this mistake
