Asha 30/40 Series :: Connecting 6303i Classic To Nokia Suite?
Dec 4, 2011Just purchased 6303i classic. Downloaded Nokia Suite. Tried every way to sync contacts but no success. Error message code 80043ab4. 1 suggestion was to uninstal Nokia Suite completely and start again. Have done that twice but contacts will still not sync. Same error number. At one point I found Nokia PC Suite and that synced my contacts, but I understand PC Suite is being discontinued and Nokia Suite is best flavour?

Dec 10, 2011I have a Nokia 6303i.I was deleting my messages (more than 800) , and somewhere on the middle of the proccess it froze.I removed the battery and tried to turn it on again (with and without SIM), it just shows the home screen, works for 5 seconds (sometimes not) and it freezes.What do I need to do.Any way to hard reset or ...
I forgot to saywhen it turns on this message appears"Supportive file. Nothing to display."
I tried to reset it using *#7780#, but it freezes while reseting.

Aug 6, 2010where I can find the setting to not save text or MMS messages on this phone? On my old 6303 it could be found at Menu--->Messaging---->Message Settings--->General Settings--->Save sent messages Yes/No This option does not appear to be present on this model. I have had phone re-flashed to the latest generic firmware, 07.10, so it is not a software issue (or so I think).

When I apply the theme and try to open the media player/radio i don't see the new skin. I only get a black screen with a clock in the top right corner. I've tried the same themes on my friend's nokia 6303 classic and they work.

Mar 7, 2012In my Nokia 6303 Classic phone when I try give any input in facebook page in browser it's not working. But if open any other website its taking the input. Means I can do google searches but unable login to my facebook account. I try so many times to enter values to the fileds there in the Facebook page but its not taking anything. I tried for factory reset but no good news, its still the same thing is happening.
Then i installed a Java based facebook application, but its unable to the internet connection. I have checked all the connection settings and application access properties but couldnt get the solution.

Oct 9, 2011I cann't find the updated maximum microSD memory card size for the Nokia 6303 Classic phone. All the spec's sites and documentation list 4GB as the maximum, but I'm using an 8GB card without any problems. (After downloading fireware update)
I would like to upgrade to a higher size either 16GB or better still 32GB. But before heading out and buying a card I would like to know if anyone has tried using these cards with this handset before successfully.

Is it possible that such a basic feature is missing in a world famous brand of a phone?! I am having problems exchanging this phone now because technically there is nothing wrong with it, but I am not at all happy with the absence of the Drafts feature. I didn't check it when I was buying the phone because I assumed that this folder would be present in ANY modern phone these days! - choosing not to save automatically all sent messages in the Sent Items folder
- how to get rid of the Recently Used folder when choosing a contact to whom send a message or at least being able to manually delete contacts in that same folder
- when receiving a message I don't want the name of the contact who has sent it to be shown on the home screen. I just need to be notified of the reception of the message.
Nokia :: 6303i Classic - No Option To Change Right Selection Key
Jul 28, 2010Just been upgraded to a 6303i Classic. I want to remove Web (which I won't use) from the Right Selection key and put Names there like it was on my old 6230.
The manual says I can change the Right Selection key in Settings, My Shortcuts. I see options to change the Left Selection key and the Navigation key, but there is no option to change the Right Selection key.
The software is on version 6.84. I attempted the update to 7.10 using the phone's own updater, but it came back saying no update was available.

This worked fine, until the phone's firmware was upgraded.The developers of PhoneDirector tell me "the latest firmware of the 6303ci phone is not able to initialize the OBEX protocol if it is requested from the computer".I have about 2000 text messages in my phone and I want to get them on my computer because the phone is getting the hick ups from this amount of messages.
