Asha 30/40 Series :: 3720 Classic Constantly Displaying Unread Message?
Jun 15, 2012My 3720c constantly displaying unread sms, but there are no unread messages in any folder. I think that the problem appeared when a part of a long message hadn't been recieved, and I deleted the message.
I tried to:check internal and SIM storage for unread messagesrestart the phoneupdate the software I Didn't try and don't want to:delete all the messages

Oct 12, 2011My Nokia 2730 classic phone memory is full (my own fault!), however when I try to delete messages the phone freezes. I have to take out the battery & leave it for a few hours. Sometimes it comes back on after that though lately it won't even do that.

Dec 4, 2011Just purchased 6303i classic. Downloaded Nokia Suite. Tried every way to sync contacts but no success. Error message code 80043ab4. 1 suggestion was to uninstal Nokia Suite completely and start again. Have done that twice but contacts will still not sync. Same error number. At one point I found Nokia PC Suite and that synced my contacts, but I understand PC Suite is being discontinued and Nokia Suite is best flavour?

Mar 7, 2012In my Nokia 6303 Classic phone when I try give any input in facebook page in browser it's not working. But if open any other website its taking the input. Means I can do google searches but unable login to my facebook account. I try so many times to enter values to the fileds there in the Facebook page but its not taking anything. I tried for factory reset but no good news, its still the same thing is happening.
Then i installed a Java based facebook application, but its unable to the internet connection. I have checked all the connection settings and application access properties but couldnt get the solution.

Oct 9, 2011I cann't find the updated maximum microSD memory card size for the Nokia 6303 Classic phone. All the spec's sites and documentation list 4GB as the maximum, but I'm using an 8GB card without any problems. (After downloading fireware update)
I would like to upgrade to a higher size either 16GB or better still 32GB. But before heading out and buying a card I would like to know if anyone has tried using these cards with this handset before successfully.

Feb 17, 2010I bought an unbranded 6700 classic on amazon and I tried to disable internet access completely.
So in the first place, there is no option to disable packet data or internet access at all... I can only choose between on demand and always online... thx for that!
I tried to make new hoax profiles with made up usernames and passwords for those data links and access points and set them as defaults but this phone always just connects to the internet by edge after all...
I also can't just delete my provider's access points which seem to be sitting on the sim card or however that works...
if there is a "reliable" method to block data/internet access? On sony ericsson devices there is at least some kind of workaround which works by setting the access points to ask for a password before they actually connect.. but in this phone there doesn't seem to be any option to protect myself to go online by accident..

Oct 25, 2010I discovered the other day I still have messages on my old Nokia 1100 phone. At first I thought ok, just put in a sim and copy them across. But the 1100 doesn't have this option. Since this handset is locked, I can't put in a sim and forward them either. It's odd the phone has internal memory but won't let you copy/move or do anything with the messages.
I've looked online for a data cable for the 1100. Maybe if I connect it to a computer I can extract or copy them then? I want to get these messages on my new phone with all the original details (dates, numbers etc.) intact. My googling so far for a data cable only brings up other nokia cables where the seller has just added the 1100 model number, but it clearly isn't the right cable for this phone.

However there is no way to backup my messages, neither via synchronize (fails with explicit error message) nor via the backup utility (spends a lot of time apparently downloading messages, and then they are not present in the .nbu backup file, as can be clearly seen by the small size of the file - I have more than 4000 messages and the file is only 300 kB with the contacts).Is there a way to download my messages?
