I have a nokia 6303 classic for more than a year and I am very happy with it. But because I moved to China I need support of Chinese characters for short messages. Is it possible to get it on the phone somehow?

In my Nokia 6303 Classic phone when I try give any input in facebook page in browser it's not working. But if open any other website its taking the input. Means I can do google searches but unable login to my facebook account. I try so many times to enter values to the fileds there in the Facebook page but its not taking anything. I tried for factory reset but no good news, its still the same thing is happening.
Then i installed a Java based facebook application, but its unable to the internet connection. I have checked all the connection settings and application access properties but couldnt get the solution.
I cann't find the updated maximum microSD memory card size for the Nokia 6303 Classic phone. All the spec's sites and documentation list 4GB as the maximum, but I'm using an 8GB card without any problems. (After downloading fireware update)
I would like to upgrade to a higher size either 16GB or better still 32GB. But before heading out and buying a card I would like to know if anyone has tried using these cards with this handset before successfully.
I am using 6303 i classic from 3 years. Recently I tried to install Whatsapp in it but it said not supported. Why this happened? As per Nokia it is a S40 series phone then why does it not support? Is there any from which I can install it?

Now all the contacs on phone memory are vanished!! while I still have the contacts which were on my SIM card. ( I have checked memory in use and switched it between Phone and SIM , but it does not work) Is there a way for me ? (for sure in order to recover the contacs on phone memory and not to vanish the rest on SIM!

Error message code 80043ab4. 1 suggestion was to uninstal Nokia Suite completely and start again. Have done that twice but contacts will still not sync. Same error number. At one point I found Nokia PC Suite and that synced my contacts, but I understand PC Suite is being discontinued and Nokia Suite is best flavour?

i keep getting the Remove cable or connect a device to continue message on my nokia 6700 classic and also when i connect the phone to the computer the only thing there is on the top left near the battery is a icon with like 2 arrows across it. and when i connect my headphones to the phone the message pops up but my headphones dont work and they are brand new as well.

Therefore I am not aware when I get an SMS. However, when I check the Inbox, the SMS is there. Note that incoming calls DO ring as defined in the selected profile. I checked my Outdoor profile (which is the active one), and the tone is ON for incoming SMSes. So I do not know what's wrong, except a firmware issue. Or should I reboot? (I did not try that) Are there other options to check?

The phone powers on to the Nokia hands but as soon as the time/date screen appears, the keypad can't set it. Then the screen locks after a few seconds & can't be unlocked. Than I bought a Nokia 6303 Classic and tried to connect to the laptop. The PC Suite software does not recognize the 6303. The same problem with OVI Suite, which works with the 6310i. The Nokia 6303 connects with my Nokia 610 Car Kit, without any problem. I re-installed the PC Suite Software without any result.When I replace the 6303 with the 6310i again, than it works OK.

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy 3720c constantly displaying unread sms, but there are no unread messages in any folder. I think that the problem appeared when a part of a long message hadn't been recieved, and I deleted the message.
I tried to:check internal and SIM storage for unread messagesrestart the phoneupdate the software I Didn't try and don't want to:delete all the messages
I bought an unbranded 6700 classic on amazon and I tried to disable internet access completely.
So in the first place, there is no option to disable packet data or internet access at all... I can only choose between on demand and always online... thx for that!
I tried to make new hoax profiles with made up usernames and passwords for those data links and access points and set them as defaults but this phone always just connects to the internet by edge after all...
I also can't just delete my provider's access points which seem to be sitting on the sim card or however that works...
if there is a "reliable" method to block data/internet access? On sony ericsson devices there is at least some kind of workaround which works by setting the access points to ask for a password before they actually connect.. but in this phone there doesn't seem to be any option to protect myself to go online by accident..
I updated my nokia mobile 2730 classic, so that time onwards when I try to downloading the applications my mobile saying "certificate not in sim or phone".
