My 3120 Classic freezes every time i try to change the ringtone, i cant go into the menu tones. If i try it then it will freeze the only way to get of the freeze is to press the end call button. I have tried to reset it and that did not work.

I want to save a number of the messages I have on my phone and so do not want to empty the folders completely but now have a very slow phone as message count is c. 6000!I was using the old Nokia PC Suite (7.2 I think) but this froze when trying to access the large number of messages so upgraded to tthe OVI Suite.Any ideas other than delete text by text on the phone?I have acheived a full download to OVI and have deleted the conversations I no longer want in OVI but they are still on my phone!!!

Error message code 80043ab4. 1 suggestion was to uninstal Nokia Suite completely and start again. Have done that twice but contacts will still not sync. Same error number. At one point I found Nokia PC Suite and that synced my contacts, but I understand PC Suite is being discontinued and Nokia Suite is best flavour?

Means I can do google searches but unable login to my facebook account. I try so many times to enter values to the fileds there in the Facebook page but its not taking anything. Ok, I'm new but not entirely stupid (so I've been told). My 3120 Classic tells me, courtesy of the OVI store, that apps do apply to the phone. Yet, when attempting download after sending the link to the mobile phone, I get the same error message - - ovi does not work with the current model. I updated the Nokia software for my phone/model, still nothing.I'm really interested in Adobe Acrobat as an app if that is indeed possible. I did do a search for "3120" and "Adobe" before launching this post.

i keep getting the Remove cable or connect a device to continue message on my nokia 6700 classic and also when i connect the phone to the computer the only thing there is on the top left near the battery is a icon with like 2 arrows across it. and when i connect my headphones to the phone the message pops up but my headphones dont work and they are brand new as well.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was recently personalizing my Nokia 3120 classic and was trying to see what I preferred regarding the display (essentially the home screen). When I pressed the 'up' navigation button and then 'options' to changes what was displayed, I set all parts of the display to empty (when I first bought it, it was populated with a line of application/function icons - left to right in the top-most row, the date and time in the second row and 'notes' in the third row).
Now I can't get anything back, and none of the Menu functions allow me to make any changes to this part of the display. Restoring factory settings does not restore this either. There is no intuitive way for this to work on the 'home' screen as the options function doesn't exist any more (emptying the rows has removed the function altogether).
The front panel (user interface) of the radio app disappeared - since I updated my 2700 Classic's software. When I start the radio application the screen becomes totally black . However radio works in a blind way, and the radio list is viewable.

The phone powers on to the Nokia hands but as soon as the time/date screen appears, the keypad can't set it. Then the screen locks after a few seconds & can't be unlocked. I bought an unbranded 6700 classic on amazon and I tried to disable internet access completely.
So in the first place, there is no option to disable packet data or internet access at all... I can only choose between on demand and always online... thx for that!
I tried to make new hoax profiles with made up usernames and passwords for those data links and access points and set them as defaults but this phone always just connects to the internet by edge after all...
I also can't just delete my provider's access points which seem to be sitting on the sim card or however that works...
if there is a "reliable" method to block data/internet access? On sony ericsson devices there is at least some kind of workaround which works by setting the access points to ask for a password before they actually connect.. but in this phone there doesn't seem to be any option to protect myself to go online by accident..
I updated my nokia mobile 2730 classic, so that time onwards when I try to downloading the applications my mobile saying "certificate not in sim or phone".
