It is completely seated in the phone, I have formatted the card, yet any pictures I take are saving to my phone instead of onto the new card? Why is this, and how can I correct this?
Also, how do I get the pictures that saved to my phone, over onto the microSD card?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhere can i find my hidden pics in my media card on my bb9700 I hate to do this, but I simply can't figure it out. Yesterday I had some of my files hidden on my phone that I could not access. The files that I want went to the media card when hidden. I've searched google and tried some suggestions, but I still can't find them. First, is there a way to get to the media card directory? People say to go to explore, but I don't have this on my device i even went on my stock theme from att it takes u too explore but it still don't show my hidden pics what gives.
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust like it says, I'm not able to delete pics off my 16 gb card. Actually its more then that. When I press the menu key for options, in the section where " delete" and other options would be, all I show is properties. I've tested another card on my phone, no problems. I've tested this card on another 9700, same problem. Its definitely the card that is messed up. I've tried reformatting (won't let me reformat in my computer, I have to hook my bb up with it inside) and I still have the problem.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI had a 2GB media card and got a new, 8GB one and was wondering if there's any way to move everything I had stored on the first media card to the new one. Like would it work if I first moved it to the device memory and then switched media cards and moved it onto that one? And if so, how would I do that?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI work for a large Banking group. The Bank uses Vodafone as their provider (i have a work phone). Last week i needed to change my password which i did. But as luck would have it i made it so complicated i forgot what i changed it to. My IT dept unlocked the devise the following day BUT the MEDIA CARD is asking me for the password to access my pictures. I have no idea what my password (the one i changed to) is and therefore cannot see any of the pictures from my wedding or my kids. DOES ANYONE know how i can access my media card to see my pictures again.

Is anyone else having this problem? I have already had TWO bolds and both of them did the same thing. I have looked at different settings i could change, but had no luck.
I want to move pictures from the device memory to the newly installed media card. I have consulted forums on this and the procedure seems to be clear - BUT! I follow procedure and when I see the media card as an option to move to, it appears above a line and cannot be selected.

View 1 Replies View RelatedA configuration snafu sent pictures to a folder in Device Memory. (Device Memory/Home/User/Pictures) All my previous pictures went to memory card. (Media Card/Blackberry/pictures) I am not able to move the pictures from the Device Memory folder to either the memory Card or to my PC. Normal "Move" and PC downbload procudes don't work (I can't get to the Device Memory folders via my PC, and the Blackberry won't let me move from the Device memory to the Media Card.) These pictures will be lost if I can't move them. I don't want to email them. How do I move the pictures in Device Memory/Home/User/Pictures to either the Media Card or to my PC.

But when I click picture with the camera and the storage option being Device, it gets stored and can be viewed in the picture list. Same thing happens with the Videos.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have several dozen pictures that were added to my new Curve 8530 from my old phone before I had an sd memory media card, so they're sitting in the internal device memory. How do I transfer them to the media card, and can I "select all" to move them all at once or do I have to go picture by picture?
Also, I use Desktop Manager for Mac. Is there any way I can move them around through my Mac Finder? Would I have to disable Mass Storage? In what situations would one enable or disable Mass Storage and MTP? (OK, that's probably a second topic; but I haven't found a good explanation of what it is.)
I have a blackberry 8520. I started having a problem with my memory card recently. When I connect my phone to my computer I can transfer music and pictures to my memory card. But once I disconnect it, I can't get anything i.e. the music folder is empty as well as the picture folder&video folder. I've formatted my memory card, and redid the process and still its the same problem. Taken my phone apart still the same problem. And I've checked and in my settings it says my memory card is inserted even shows how much space I have left etc. I can't even store any pics I take or see them on my phone I can't even rename them cause it tells me that operation isn't allowed on a read only file. I've checked my settings and its setting is everything must be saved to my memory card even changed the amount or size of pics. Even changed the type of pictures that can be taken from super fine to normal.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a handful of pictures on my Torch 9810 and I am trying to figure out how to transfer them to my media card on my phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOk, media card was working fine, had alot of work pictures stored on it and was becoming a hassle to hunt through all of them to find what I wanted. So, I inserted media card in computer and transfered what I wanted to a folder on the computer. Then I formatted the card using the computer. When I put the card back into the phone, the phone knows its there, but I must have wiped the card completely as none of the folders for video, pics, etc. are on it anymore. If I take a picture and go to find it, the media card does not even show up, just device memory.
Does anybody have a remedy for this? I already tried formatting the card in the phone but that didn't work. The phone is telling me in the memory options that 1.8GB is free, so I know it works, it just lost the folders or whatever........
so forr some reason my blackberry torch doesn't order my media files like Internet or pictures and songs into the media section and the folder disppeared. but after a recent backup the media and all its content reappeared but it is still not in that media section of theblackberry torch's sliding menus.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am experiencing a couple of problems with my device since the last prompted OS upgrade:
1. When I plug the device into a USB port on my PC, it successfully begins charging but I do not receive the familiar "USB Drive / Sync Media / Charge Only" selection prompt. Furthermore, the device isn't being recognized as a peripheral by my PC and, as such, I cannot access its data.
Note: I have enabled "Media Card Support" in Options -> Device -> Storage
2. When I send someone a voice note using BBM's "Send -> Voice Note" option, it no longer appears to save the voice note in the voice note collection in the Media section as it used to do.
I assume these two problems stem from the same issue, but I can't imagine what it may be, and looking around the forums / Google has produced nothing useful.
I have had my BB Torch 9800 since May 2011, and I had a media card (SD 2GB) in there since Day 1. Early November came around and my phone's media folder was completely empty and I was unable to view any of my pictures, music, etc from my external media card, but the internal built in media card still works just fine. I went into my local AT&T store just for kicks and giggles to see if they could do something (they couldn't). I consider myself an advanced Blackberry user, for I have had a Blackberry for a number of years. The torch is my 7th Blackberry and this is the first time I have had a problem with any of my phones. Not to diss the Torch or Blackberry, but this isn't their finest work. Back to the point, how can I get my phone to recognize my media device?

I have lost my pictures and I am receiving an error message that the media card has errors. It is saving pictires to the, phone and not the media card. I've taken it out, put it back in and took battery out to start the phone again. Still getting the same error message.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOnly device memory and built-in-media storage are detected. I do not know why it doesn't read my media card even though it is inserted properly. I tried my media card in my pc and it works perfectly fine. I already did the security wipe method, reboot method, upgraded my OS(OS Level Method), cleaning the media card, formatting my media card and almost everything I read, I've done it but still it won't be read. I already go asked someone what could be the problem and he said my media card(where you put it) seems to be okay... He too can't identify what is wrong with it. I tried sandisk media card once but still same result assuming that BB is too picky with media card but still it cannot be read/recognized...I am too sad because i cannot enjoy my torch because i don't want to use my built-in memory storage for my entertainment....
View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded some music the other day from a friends PC & I wasnt aware that I had downloaded a virus as well. Now it has deleted all my pictures/music & videos that where stored on the memory card. Is there anyway to restore/retrieve all the info that has been deleted? I cannot also save pictures to the card so I save it directly to my device instead.
