I am having the same sms problem as a few other people on this forum. I updated my software and it worked but then the problem came back again so i repaired it..which reinstalled the software and it worked but it came back again. It dint show any error or anything, I just could no longer receive msgs. Just last saturday i once again repaired it, and on monday im stopped receiving sms. At about the same time it shows that my memory is full even though i changed to an 8GB card. i only have 1GB of data on it. What can i do? ive tried using other sim cards and clearing the messages. No luck I think all my apps are being saved to phone memory which is slowing down the phone too and giving me that alert. Is there a way for me to transfer my downloads to the SD card?

I am unable to send or receive messages on my satio. Everytime I try it says Not enough memory to perform action. Delete some files. However I have no files to delete? I've erased everything from the phone including all photos, messages etc. I've also downloaded the latest update. Has anyone else had this problem?
Using N81, I get the "Memory full. Delete some data" message every time (when turning on the mobile, when trying to install any app, when trying to uninstall any app, ...).I've formatted the memory card, and I've got:- Capacity: 1947 MB- Used: 1 MB- Free: 1946 MBbut continue getting the same error.Any similar experience? I reset the mobile (*#7370# and *#7780#) but any change (I've deleted the time and settings, but not the memory issues).
I just got my Blackberry curve 9350 on Tuesday and it says my memory card is full already but I only have 2 songs and 10 pics. Is there a bigger card to buy or a different way to store info?
My device says the memory card is full but there is nothing on it - I deleted everything. how to save music/photos on my phone when this error message occurs?

Below is a relisting of a current problem I have not managed to fix.I have the latest firmware installed on my N97, but after the latest upgrade (clean install was done, mass mem refromatted, hard reset, etc') On checking over the phone I started getting messages that the Mass mem' was full (Not so) I eventually traced it to my 8 gig mem' card, (is coming up with the message that the memory card is corrupt, I have now tried 3 different mem' cards) cos after this was removed the phone worked perfectly again, I tried reformatting the card via the pc , same problem when the card was put back in, tried a brand new card , same problem, lastly tried a known working 4 gig mem' card, same problem?
I currently have a NE63 - 3 phone and is currently loving it however two days ago i started getting a sending failed error message everytime I attempt to send text messages and when I click on the details it would say not enough memory please close other applications.I have enough load credits to perform such activity, and i do not have any other applications running in the background, plus the phone memory is nowhere near full capacity.I have already checked the message center number and I currently have the correct settings,I have already peformed a reset but to no avail.I am able to receive text messages, able to make and receive calls,wi - fi access is okay, the only thing I cant do is send text messages.I know there are other e63 users out there who might have experienced the same thing.

My blackberry is messed up, I have deleted all pictures, music, apps, etc, and it says the memory is full which is impossible. It won't let me take any pictures. I have cleared everything.
I keep getting the same warning that my message memory is full. My 'Leave On Sim Card' box is unchecked and I haven't been storing a lot of messages. It's such a hassle to keep ignoring the warning when you know your phone can store so much and when it has more than enough memory.
when I tried to add songs to the blackberry, Finder said that the Blackberry had 97.2 MB left, I had not even come close to filling the capacity, so I found that strange. Then, I deleted some songs in the directory, nothing changed, still 97.2 MB left. Then I used the Desktop manager, according to the software I had filled 1.7 GB with something that was not music or pictures, even though those are the only two things I have ever put on the phone. So, after deleting all media, which did absolutely nothing, and syncing, and restoring to see if that would help, nothing. In another query someone had sugested formatting the card, since this has been working with and without desktop manager for so long I don't see that as being the problem. However, desktop manager for mac in general is terrible, the program freezes all the time, every single time you hit the X in the corner.
Before I remember finding a graph that showed the memory usage and what was on the media card, but either I forget where it is or its not on the new .442 OS.Can someone please help me out, I did a search and came up dry.
We got a Flipside for my husband in April, 2011. Since then we have had to do 3 hard resets and he still can't send or receive text messages due to low internal memory. Today, it can no longer connect to the internet. I connected the phone to the computer to try to troubleshoot it and that doesn't work. I really want to throw it out the window! We have always owned Nokia phones and never had this problem. We got the Flipside when his Backflip started acting up, The next day - the Backflip started working.
would this not make sense for rim to add in a software update, for us to be able to use a memory card as virtual memory? or use a small portion of memory?
The text icon disappeared and I do not receive notifications of new text messages. The only way I can find a text is to locate the sender in my Contacts.
I recently purchased a BB Bold 9000 and my SMS message inbox is full already. Every time I recieve a msg it asks me to delete some msgs to create space. Is there any way I can save all my existing msgs to my device or my memory card and all the incoming ones too?
I have seen various messages about people only receiving part of their texts, I have have the same problem. I have an E71x. It has a BUNCH of issues, but my main problem now is I was saving my text messages to my installed memory card. The card became full. I took the card out to get some audio files and other stuff off it to make more room. Well, at some point the phone said the memory card was missing and it would use the internal memory. Now I can't get it to use the memory card again. I see no way to put it back to that. I think the only option I got was to "Copy" messages to the memory card. But I don't want to do that.
I need to save as much stuff as I can off the phone, then reset or restore the phone to the factory settings, or just re-install everything. (this Symbian OS and Nokias poor support of it are for the birds...)But, how do I get the phone to save messages to my memory card again?
i own a 5800 and when i tried to access to the memory card through the file manager it says the card was corrupted. but when i inserted the card in a memory card reader, it works accept that i cant eject it and a pop-up window came out saying an error occured while ejecting the card. it is a 8Gb memory card. i found a solution similar to my situation but is there any other alternative ways that doesn't require me to download huge files?
