My blackberry is messed up, I have deleted all pictures, music, apps, etc, and it says the memory is full which is impossible. It won't let me take any pictures. I have cleared everything.

Now i have a big problem: when i recived any message (sms) the new phone advise me: Message memory si full. Please delete some message.Now i've delete some sms (about 60 contact) but the phone continue to tell me same message.

I keep getting the same warning that my message memory is full. My 'Leave On Sim Card' box is unchecked and I haven't been storing a lot of messages. It's such a hassle to keep ignoring the warning when you know your phone can store so much and when it has more than enough memory.

View 6 Replies View Relatedwhen I tried to add songs to the blackberry, Finder said that the Blackberry had 97.2 MB left, I had not even come close to filling the capacity, so I found that strange. Then, I deleted some songs in the directory, nothing changed, still 97.2 MB left. Then I used the Desktop manager, according to the software I had filled 1.7 GB with something that was not music or pictures, even though those are the only two things I have ever put on the phone. So, after deleting all media, which did absolutely nothing, and syncing, and restoring to see if that would help, nothing. In another query someone had sugested formatting the card, since this has been working with and without desktop manager for so long I don't see that as being the problem. However, desktop manager for mac in general is terrible, the program freezes all the time, every single time you hit the X in the corner.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem that my E5 keeps telling me it is out of memory, to the point where it has become unusable. I've deleted applications and messages, but it seems to keep filling up and either tell me memory is low or that it is out of memory.
Options -> Memory -> Phone Memory tells me that there is over 200MB in 'Other Files', but File Manager doesn't show them and neither does the file explorer I downloaded from the Ovi Store. So I have no idea what can be taking up all the space...

Ok, media card was working fine, had alot of work pictures stored on it and was becoming a hassle to hunt through all of them to find what I wanted. So, I inserted media card in computer and transfered what I wanted to a folder on the computer. Then I formatted the card using the computer. When I put the card back into the phone, the phone knows its there, but I must have wiped the card completely as none of the folders for video, pics, etc. are on it anymore. If I take a picture and go to find it, the media card does not even show up, just device memory.
Does anybody have a remedy for this? I already tried formatting the card in the phone but that didn't work. The phone is telling me in the memory options that 1.8GB is free, so I know it works, it just lost the folders or whatever........

Delete some data" message every time (when turning on the mobile, when trying to install any app, when trying to uninstall any app, ...).I've formatted the memory card, and I've got:- Capacity: 1947 MB- Used: 1 MB- Free: 1946 MBbut continue getting the same error.Any similar experience? View 3 Replies View Relatedi have a blackberry bold 9700 v 5.0.0.862 ( bundle 1446, platform 5.1.0.175 I fully charged my battery monday night, unplugged it before going to sleep.When i woke up the phone was turned off, when i turned on i got a white screen with a battery with a red line through it but no blackberry loading screen.I didn't know what was wrong so i plugged phone in to charge a bit. when there was no change i unplugged it and held the power button. After many many many attempts to turn it back on finally i got the BB loading screen.The battery had full power when I finally got it turned back on.I used the phone throughout the day but come suppertime the battery was still full so i went to a friends. Halfway through dinner the phone displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " .
Got home plugged in, turned back on and battery was 50%. I charged it to 100% and unplugged it before going to sleep. Woke up this morning to ringing phone i answered it had the chance to say hello then it displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " !!! Went to turn back on got the battery screen again , finally after an hour or more of trying to turn back on it finally loaded and guess what?? THE BATTERY IS SITTING AT 100%!!I don't know what's going on but my phone keeps saying the battery is drained and the phone turns off but the battery is still full.

I am new here having jsut come from a BB Curve 8900 I love the speed of the new 9700 its a million times better. Anyway, I have a 2gb card installed but under the settings and memory section it says no card found. is there a way of getting it to reconise the card as my phone says its only got 90MB of internal memorey left which wont do me as I use it as a mp3 player as well.

So i connected it via usb and then deleted it via my PC. Then a system error message started coming up and I ignored it at first. However my friends were saying they were not recieving some of my calls and texts. So i looked at other forum posts and people reccomened to update the firmware so i did that and now my phone is in major problems. It keeps saying memory full and when i try to access the memory part to clear some stuff it just restarts. sometimes it says vcommand something and restarts but usually it just says memory full and restarts. Its really bugging me and Im considering selling it and buying a Blackberry becaue it is really anoying. Is there anything i can do to solve this or am i screwed?
