View 9 RepliesI am using Curve 9360 which I bought recently. Love this handset for its sleekiest design, I rate this best among all BB phones.Recently I hit into an issue where my phone's device memory (reportedly 32 MB) is full. I thought this phone has inbuilt memory of 512 MB.When I go Media, check for Memory use using BB pin, it shows me Media Card and Built-in Memory Storage.
I am surprised to see Built-in Memory storage of only 32 MB and that is also 100%, of which 24MB was occupied by Pictures.
I haven't stored any of the downloaded or camera pictures on device memory. These 24MB is essentially from this folder "/Device/home/user/appworld/img/screenshots/". Under this folder there are many folders with 4~5 digits numbered and has many small pictures, essentially screenshots from app world.First, can I delete these folders in order free up device memory?Second, can I re-route these to memory card such these screenshots are not saved on device memory atleast?Third, how do I check 512 MB inbuilt memory usage stats for curve 9360?
I just got my Blackberry curve 9350 on Tuesday and it says my memory card is full already but I only have 2 songs and 10 pics. Is there a bigger card to buy or a different way to store info?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem that my E5 keeps telling me it is out of memory, to the point where it has become unusable. I've deleted applications and messages, but it seems to keep filling up and either tell me memory is low or that it is out of memory.
Options -> Memory -> Phone Memory tells me that there is over 200MB in 'Other Files', but File Manager doesn't show them and neither does the file explorer I downloaded from the Ovi Store. So I have no idea what can be taking up all the space...
I don't seem to be the only person with this problem, and since I've deleted as much as I can I don't see how it can be my fault! I am getting so frustrated with this phone

Using N81, I get the "Memory full. Delete some data" message every time (when turning on the mobile, when trying to install any app, when trying to uninstall any app, ...).I've formatted the memory card, and I've got:- Capacity: 1947 MB- Used: 1 MB- Free: 1946 MBbut continue getting the same error.Any similar experience? I reset the mobile (*#7370# and *#7780#) but any change (I've deleted the time and settings, but not the memory issues).

my e63 keeps showing the error message 'phone memory full'.file manager says that 119mb are in use, but i can't 'see' the files that are taking up all this space.i've deleted surplus applications like Internet - but could someone possibly suggest how to free up more space? i don't think it's being taken up by emails or text messages (121kb) either.i would prefer not to format the memory, just delete whatever is taking up the 119mb.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy n97 is showing that the phone memory is almost full. Of the 73MB available, I have 9MB free. I've gone into everything on the memory and plugged it into computer and can't see anything that takes up anywhere near that amount of space.I have updated to firmware 20.0.019 after it was eventually released for my code and it made sweet F A difference, even though it's supposed to free up memory. If anyone knows anything about how to sort this please let me know, as it's starting to **bleep** me off by making videos jump and i can't update other things like ovi maps because "memory is full".
View 11 Replies View RelatedSo ive had my Nokia for a few months now, no problems all going fine. Untill recently I tried to uninstall Fring from my phone and it didnt work. So i connected it via usb and then deleted it via my PC. Then a system error message started coming up and I ignored it at first. However my friends were saying they were not recieving some of my calls and texts. So i looked at other forum posts and people reccomened to update the firmware so i did that and now my phone is in major problems. It keeps saying memory full and when i try to access the memory part to clear some stuff it just restarts. sometimes it says vcommand something and restarts but usually it just says memory full and restarts. Its really bugging me and Im considering selling it and buying a Blackberry becaue it is really anoying. Is there anything i can do to solve this or am i screwed?
