Cseries :: Memory Full While Installing App On C7-00?
Oct 18, 2011
I am using nokia drop to install app on my Nokia C7 , I am getting msseage "memoryfull" hence I cant install the apps , I tried restarting and clearing log. i Have still 258 mb in c: and 5 gb in e:
After the last update (Symbian Anna),at the top of the right corner,an envelope symbol flashes as it means SIM memory full.In fact I do not use SIM card memory.
after download, the phone cant do anything again.it shows memory full and it will automaticallĂ˝ reboot itself and the shortcuts in the wiget will display '?'. If u touch it, it dispjays 'insert memory card or reinstall app' The point is that the memory is not full while this is happening.
I frequently get the "Memory Full" message when I tried to scroll down a web page. Currently I only have 49.8 Mb of free phone memory. But I do have a 2Gb external micro sd card.
When I open a big internet page like mediafire.com it says " Full Memory " .How can I widen it ?(My card memory space = more than 3 GB.My phone memory space =40 MB.)
I have literally taken my brand new C6 handset out of its box a couple of hours ago, and the message icon was blinking although there are no messages at all in the phone.I have tried a factory reset and updating the phone software, but to no avail. The message icon is still blinking. This is now the second Nokia handset I have had with software problems (previous handset 5800 XM). After 10 years of only using Nokia handsets, I am going off them rapidly!
After every 2 -3 weeks I get the info that i need to make space as my internal memory gets full... what to do in this case??? the messages and contacts are just stored at internal memory i guess is there any way to change the storage of messages from internal memory to memory card???
There is a problem occurring in my Nokia c6 again and again. Instead, I got the change headset but again it giving same problem of "Memory Full Close Some Applications". Its coming again and again when I am opening the photos. When I asked in the Nokia Care about it then they said that its a company's fault in Nokia C6 or it will get solved when there will be a software update.
I have a Nokia C5-03 with the latest firmware, and now I managed to free 18MB of the phone memory, but when I try to determine a destination without tolls and with optimized routing for a distance of 300 km between the two cities it always says that the memory is full and to close some applications. When I use the navigation the only thing that is on is the Bluetooth but even when I turn it off it happens the same thing. Sometimes the phone restarts itself.
I have a C6 and has been encountering this problem of having this msg "Memory full, please close some application" while opening some webpage. I did not have any application running at the same time & yet this msg still appears. Is this a limitation in C6 phone? Can we do anything to rectify this?
I recently bought Nokia 5800. When installed any jar or .sis files on Card Memory, eventually my Phone Memory is getting used. Even though I am very diligent in selecting Card Memory while installation, Phone Memory is getting reduced. Kindly Help me please.
I need some body, tell my how can I install ovi content on the memory card when I use Wifi on my handset 5800.cause all programs immediately goes and installed on phone memory and it is almost full
I am trying to bluetooth stuff to my phone and it tells me that my phone memory is full, but I have a 1gb memory card. How do I send the stuff straight to my memory card?
I have a problem that my E5 keeps telling me it is out of memory, to the point where it has become unusable. I've deleted applications and messages, but it seems to keep filling up and either tell me memory is low or that it is out of memory.
Options -> Memory -> Phone Memory tells me that there is over 200MB in 'Other Files', but File Manager doesn't show them and neither does the file explorer I downloaded from the Ovi Store. So I have no idea what can be taking up all the space...
I don't seem to be the only person with this problem, and since I've deleted as much as I can I don't see how it can be my fault! I am getting so frustrated with this phone
So I tried to install an exposed module and after reboot exposed wasn't working anymore. through xda searches I figured out my system partition was full. is there any way to make this partition bigger? or Every time i install a module will I have to uninstall a system app to make room?
Nokia 808 PureView Memory Error !So i bought my new nokia 808 and i made some photos put some songs in it and everything was going fine.Today in morning when i was shoting a photo and whent to edit it appeared this message :" Memory is full. Please delete some data first and then try again"So i opened "Files" to see my memory status.
I have to admit that I been in love with my C5-03 since the first time I saw it. But unfortunately, the phone gave me real hard time.
1- I can't change the message memory to memory card. It works for a while, and then an error message pops out, statimg that "memory card not found" and that the phone will revery the message memory to phone memory.
2- The phone memory is almost full. I have 11.4 MB left, and I don't know what's filling the memory. I have 3 apps installed, 1 MB each, besides the default apps. Browsing the memory was of no help: almost all folders are empty. I tried emptying the browser's cache, but 11.4 MB is all I could have.
3- Nokia store and the web browser give me the "memory full" message after a couple of minutes of browsing, and then they close automatically, making them almost useless.
4- The battery life is not impressive. I have to charge the phone every 1-2 days even with light usage (15 min of calls, no Wi-Fi or music playing).
I love the phone and I've been having it for 6 months now.I have installed the latest firmware 2 months ago (v.20.0.024, version date 25-05-2011.
Yesterday night I was trying to install Nokia Belle on my C7 through Nokia suite. However, in between the installation process, my Nokia C7 went black and the installation could not be completed.
Since then my phone is blank. Now, when I hold the power button, the phone vibrates but does not start. The white charging light on the top blinks for sometime and then stops and nothing happens.
I believe it is a software problem as the phone is not starting even after charging my battery thru an external charger.
The original software was Symbian O3. Can I do a hardware reset? I can live if the phone data is lost.
whenever i download and install applications from ovistore it doesn't continue and ends up as error. and when i tried to sync again my phone to nokia acount (the one where nokia sends link to your phone to sync it) i never receive the message. the instruction in the manual syncing doesn't seem so helpful as i can't find the "To create the profile, select "Menu", then "Connect", then "Sync" part.
Using N81, I get the "Memory full. Delete some data" message every time (when turning on the mobile, when trying to install any app, when trying to uninstall any app, ...).I've formatted the memory card, and I've got:- Capacity: 1947 MB- Used: 1 MB- Free: 1946 MBbut continue getting the same error.Any similar experience? I reset the mobile (*#7370# and *#7780#) but any change (I've deleted the time and settings, but not the memory issues).
Bought a C3 for my wife yesterday, when we went to go into the OVI store it said it needed updating, update was downloaded and installed and said it was successful and saved to collections but when I try to open it loading begins then it says its closing and closes
I'm looking to expand storage to 32Gb on a couple of the more ageing budget phones and am wondering what rated-speed cards are actually worth putting in the phone - i.e. what kind of sustained write can e.g. the C5-00 or E5-00 maintain? Since I'll very likely be only using the card I'll buy with only these phones it doesn't really make sense to buy a Class 10 if e.g. a Class 2 is the only speed these handsets can sustain to the SD slot. Also if Class 4 or worse is all these can manage then I'll probably invest in 16Gb instead (simply for the reason that it'll just take an unreasonable time to re-fill that 32Gb) - so it's a fairly important question.
