Dec 13, 2010I was looking at the backup and restore funcition on my phone,I accidently hit the restore button but then cancelled the restore. I then went to sent a message and got a error message saying cannot connect please try later. I then turned phone off then on again and all my messages are away and it has stored only a selected few that have got pictures, it has also deleted some of my contacts!Can anyone help me to try retrieve my messages and contacts.

Sep 9, 2011Why is it that whenever i restart my phone or once i plug my phone with the USB,the apps that are stored in the SD card is pushed all the way to the last page? this happens everytime until i have to manually put everything all over againi have set the Arrange Apps to Own Order alrdy and it still pushes all the apps. Another problem is that i have to turn on and off the data plan twice in order for it to work.when i turn it on the 1st time,the icon is there but not connected to the internet

But the status of those two msgs has been changed to 'Deferred' and are not getting deleted. I restarted the mobile, but again its there in the Outbox. I tried PC Suite to delete those messages. But those messages are not getting listed in the PC Suite. Kindly Suggest some solution for this problem

A friend suggested that it may just need updating, which made sense because I'd been getting update notifications, just hadn't got round to hooking my ohone up to my laptop. So I did just that and installed the 'companion' but when I try to update, it's asking me to insert a memory card. I've never taken it out! Not once. So i've turned the phone off and on again, as you do.

1 select sd card in settings on the X10 then select unmount sd card.2 take out the card with the phone still switched on since I can't remove the battery there is no obvious way to depower it
3 put card in my pc's card reader and copy its contents to a folder on the pc (using copy and paste?), I have seen some mention of hidden files - is there any trick here?
4 put the new sd card in the pc and copy the stored contents onto it
5 put the card into the X10
6 what now - how do I get the x10 to accept the new card?

Jan 31, 2010On my Nokia N97 mini the positioning methods are not stored.NO positioning method at all is by default stored in my N97 mini.
Therefore i have to select a positioning method first each time before I can use GPS with the new Ovi Maps.
This is really annoying.Is this a known bug and is there a solution for this?

If I plug it in to the computer then bring up the sd card they come up but they are not there in apps management. Can/how do I get them back. What's the point of saving these if they cannot be retrieved (I know part of it is to save space on device) and why do they show up on the pc and not the phone itself?

It stored its files on the SD card so I moved them to the phone storage. It seems to be working fine now. This week I have been taking pictures with my HTC M8 and the gallery freezes and the picture will turn blank with a triangle in it. The camera stores pictures on the SD card also. If I touch the picture the phone locks up.

Oct 12, 2010I hope that there is someone out there who can help me. I have a W595 (Walkman); a super mobile phone that I have owned for 18 months without a problem. Today, I find that there is a problem whilst scrolling through my contacts stored on my phone (not SIM Card). After opening my contacts list from the "home" screen, the contacts list displays. Then, as I scroll down through them to the first one beginning with"C", the display reverts immediately to the "home" screen and then reopens the list starting from "A". If I reverse scroll, I can scroll up through the list and, when I reach first (top) "C" again, the display screen reverts immediately to the "home" screen but this time stays there! There is not a problem when I scroll through the SIM card-stored contacts.
